Emma makes dinner as soon as she gets back because her son is coming home. He wanted food to be served by the time Daniel arrived but he wasn't busy himself because Kendrick helped him make food. Although Emma refused, Kendrick wanted to do it even though it was something new to her because all this time she had never entered the kitchen but now, he wants to enjoy his time with Emma so that their relationship is closer.

What must be eliminated first is Emma's awkward and unkind attitude and she believes the more often they are together then Emma will be more accustomed to her existence. Thus, the awkward and unpleasant attitude that Ema always feels will decrease by itself without the need for coercion.

After all their togetherness can foster feelings between them and she hopes Emma falls in love with him soon because she wants to propose to Emma as soon as possible so that Daniel gets the family he wants and so they can can stay together. She could propose to Emma today too but she knows Emma must have refused because she is in a crisis of confidence.

Kendrick was asked by Emma to wash the vegetables because she said she wanted to help but she was fixated while watching Emma who was busy cooking. She remembers Emma at least going into the kitchen for fear of fire. Somehow Emma's life after she moved in but Emma's been changed a lot.

“Ken, give me that vegetable!” pinta Emma 'cause she had to cook it.

“What?” Kendrick completely forgot what he had to do.

“I asked you to wash vegetables but you just looked at me like that. Is there something on my face?” Emma asked as she rubbed her face because she thought there was something there.

“No, of course no Emma. I looked at your face because you were beautiful long ago and you made me fall in love again and again with you!"

“A-What?” Emma was so nervous and embarrassed by Kendrick's words.

Kendrick approached Emma and gave her a basket of vegetables she had washed but instead of letting Emma continue cooking after the basket changed hands, Kendrick pulled Emma's hand and hugged her waist. Emma was shocked, she was about to protest but Kendrick's finger was already on Emma's lips.

"Don't yell, we have to get used to this. Promise won't push me and hit me?" ask Kendrick with the finger still on Emma's lips.

Emma nodded with both eyes glaring. Kendrick smiled and put his finger away slowly from Emma's lips. Basket filled with vegetables in a tight grip, Emma to hold her breath because of the closeness of the two of them.

"A-i?" Emma turned her flushed face to the side.

"Look at me, Emma!" Kendrick held onto Emma's chin and turned her face back so Emma looked at her.

"We have to spend more time like this. Not only do you get used to me but I also want you to have feelings for me because I want to marry you. I know you'll definitely refuse if I get married now so I want us to start slowly until you feel safe with me and until you feel comfortable being with me."

"I, I don't deserve you. You see me? I'm just a failed man trying to improve. Don't be with me, there are still many women who are much better than me. "If not then what? Tell me?" emma's chin was lifted again, Kendrick also brought their faces closer despite being blocked by the vegetable basket that he should have put on the table since.

"Ken-Kendrick?" Emma became nervous, she moved uneasily because Kendrick was getting closer to their lips.

Kendrick was convinced she could kiss Emma's lips today but unfortunately, Daniel's voice was out there.

"Mommy, Daniel went home with grandma!" the screams of her son shocked Emma. Both of his eyes opened again and he stepped back quickly. Whahuh?

"Mommy," Daniel called back.

Kendrick swore in his heart. He got a little more but he failed. Emma put down the vegetable basket and hurried out. He was shocked when Daniel went inside along with Kendrick's parents.

Emma's standing in place, you fuck. Why didn't Kendrick tell her that her parents would come? Honestly, he's not ready to meet Kendrick's parents because he's still not confident because he has nothing even he's still a troublemaker for Kendrick.
