Kimberly's Suspicious Attitude

Emma was pensive, with many thoughts. His intentions return to treat Daniel's illness but he gets another problem he doesn't know about. What really happened to him when he was a kid? He really has no memory of that.

The door that suddenly opened caught Emma's attention. Her grandfather goes inside followed by Kimberly. Emma who was sitting on the sofa was moving, she was sure they came would want to know how her date with Aston last night.

"Grandfather, why did you come so early?" ask Emma about it.

"To see your situation and this!" Kimberly gave Emma the item she brought, "Food for you. Spend it because I've taken the trouble to make it for you!" he said with a haughty expression that he usually showed.

"Thank you," Emma took it, not expecting Kimberly to be so kind as to make food for her. Kimberly's nature changed after she agreed to follow her grandfather's words. If indeed their relationship as brothers could improve, then he would not destroy let alone he was an older brother.

"What about your meeting with Aston last night?" ask her grandfather who has walked to the sofa.

"Our meeting went well."

"You didn't say anything that would make him hate you, did you?" ask Kimberly suspiciously.

"Good if so. You'd better get close to him because I want you to get married soon."

"Emma, this marriage is also for the good of you and your son. He'll have a father after you're married and people won't gossip about you anymore so don't delay."

"Grandfather, I heard that we've been neighbors to Kendrick. Is true?" as Emma asked that, Kimberly looked surprised and looked at her brother with a suspicious look.

"Your father was transferred to London, so you moved."

"Well, what do I promise him?"

"It's just a promise!" kimberly. Do not let her brother ask more about it because her brother should not remember anything about their childhood would they still live in the city or even the memory when they have moved.

"Just promise, you mean?" Emma looked at her sister with a suspicious look.

"It was just a promise made by a child. When we moved you cried incessantly and then you ran into the woods. Mommy and Daddy are looking for you everywhere but Kendrick found you in the woods. You don't want to part and then you cry out loud and whine incessantly. Because you kept pushing, Kendrick had to make that promise so you wouldn't cry and leave."

"really?" Emma doesn't seem to believe Kimberly's words.

"What am I lying for!"

"Grandfather?" Emma hoped her grandfather would explain it, but she was silent. Truly, he did not believe Kimberly's words but if what Kimberly said was true, how embarrassing he was then. But if he's the one who forced it, why would Kendrick take that promise seriously?

"Here you go, you're married to Aston so there's no need to remember past events. It doesn't matter anymore!" his real grandfather said he didn't know when Emma and Kendrick made such a promise.

"Which grandfather said was so true then what made me lose my memory?"

"You're in an accident, what else!" kimberly answered quickly.

"What kind of accident do you mean? You must know so tell me!" pinta Emma's.

"Sister, we went home from school. You ran without looking so you got hit by a passing car. You don't have a physical disability but your memory is gone even the doctor said you'd go crazy if you forced yourself to remember."

"What right?" to be honest, he's getting suspicious of Kimberly. If he had an accident, he would have remembered when the accident happened or had he forgotten it?

"You don't believe me!" Kimberly started to look upset.

"Not so," Emma lowered her head, but inwardly said that there was something Kimberly was hiding. All his words, somehow he couldn't believe it.

"I'm not lying, Brother," Kimberly approached him and took the food she had brought and put Emma on the table, "I'm your sister, I was upset with you yesterday but you're getting married so we'd better make peace as brothers, I made you some food, so eat before it gets cold. I also made food for Daniel."

"Alright, thank you," Emma smiled, despite her hidden intentions but she should not reject Kimberly's good intentions let alone her grandfather would be angry if she refused because Kimberly was already being kind as her sister.

Kimberly smiled broadly as Emma enjoyed the food she made herself without any interference from others. Good, Emma has to spend it and tomorrow she will make it again so Emma can't remember anything of their childhood even if she tries hard even Emma will really go crazy like she said.
