The Cancelled Engagement

Kimberly was impatient, she hoped that the meeting they had today could bring Kendrick back to her. However, Kendrick is not willing to end their relationship. She has loved Kendrick since childhood, she fell in love with the young man who lived next door to her but Kendrick always looked for Emma and Emma.

Kendrick never wanted to be with him even though he had been trying to attract Kendrick's attention since they were kids. You can imagine how hard the effort he did even he did not hesitate to hurt Emma so that Kendrick became his but that is always in the eyes of Kendrick only Emma alone. All the effort he did and the loss of Emma's memory was used let alone they moved suddenly, all really beneficial to him plus Emma who refused to marry Kendrick and pregnant with the child of another man, he really gets the money.

After all this hard work to get Kendrick, he did not want his efforts to be destroyed in just a blink of an eye and the breakdown of their relationship because of Emma's return. If he knew it would be like this, he'd sent some people to get rid of Emma like he used to do but he wouldn't give up.

They've been waiting for Kendrick's parents. Kimberly smiled as she looked at Kendrick but the man she was difficult to reach looked indifferent even Kendrick was reluctant to look at her. It was indeed like that attitude he had always shown since he had no feelings for Kimberly.

"Ken, I miss you so much" Kimberly was about to hug him but Kendrick immediately dodged. Normally she would be silent but this time she would not let Kimberly hug her again.

"Don't do it, Kimberly. We don't have any relationship anymore so don't do it!" said it.

"I don't accept it, Ken. Until whenever I won't accept and until whenever I'm your fiancee!" Kimberly almost yelled because she didn't want their relationship to end.

"Don't yell, you're making me dislike you!"

"I don't take it for the reasons you gave me, it's all because of Emma!" of course, Emma is the mastermind because she can see, Kendrick still loves Emma.

"I told you, Emma has nothing to do with this!"

"Lied!" kimberly Shouts.

"You've just come, why have you had a fight?" ask Ainsley.

"Kimberly, take care of your attitude!" grandfather said.

"Sorry," Kimberly lowered her head and cursed inwardly.

"I'm sorry for his attitude, we came to talk about their problems further" Fedrick said.

"Let's sit down, Uncle. I think it should be discussed so that we know what exactly they want" Damian invited them to sit down first before they talked.

"Please forgive my grandson's childish attitude, I hope Ken changes his mind and doesn't just end their relationship. Anyway I want my promise with Jager to be done."

"Uncle, I know everything that happened because of your agreement with my father but my father told me not to force it. We also know why there's a promise between you guys, it's because she sees Kendrick and Emma so familiar that she thinks there's no harm in Kendrick getting married to Emma."

"What's? So that promise only applies to Emma?" kimberly asked with an expression of disbelief.

"It should be, honey. But Ken was also wrong because he accepted you when you volunteered" Ainsley said.

"I volunteered because I loved Kendrick since I was a kid, Aunty. After all Emma had soiled herself that she gave birth to her illegitimate child. What good is he? I'm better than her but why is Emma all you see?" really he can't accept even Kendrick's parents like he wants Emma.

"All right, what you said is very true. Emma has nothing to do with this, so tell me, what makes you want to end your relationship, Kendrick?" ask the grandfather.

"Sorry, grandpa. The nature shown by Kimberly, I don't like. I can't bear to live with a person who has a myriad of sly wits and envy. People who have that attitude, it's hard to get peace in life and I don't get along with it. I hope Kimberly learns a lot to control her emotions and most importantly, she has to keep her words."

"Kendrick, I got carried away. Please forgive me. I won't do it again" Kimberly pleaded.

"Don't force it, Kimberly. Right from the start it was wrong and I think we're like we used to be best friends!" kendrick.

"No way!" kimberly shouted as she moved.

"I know you're like this because ja*ang's back. What good is Emma? He's already dirty. He could have slept with a lot of men so he did not look for the father of his son because he did not know which man had impregnated him. Are you still willing to accept her dirty self? What's the difference between him and Ja*ang?" his yell. Kimberly was carried away by\'s emotions, she was unaware of his words that made Ainsley and Damian surprised.

"Emma your sister, Kimberly. Why are you saying that about him? What he's doing is a family disgrace so it's not appropriate for you to expose your family's disgrace like that!" Ainsley.

"Sorry, Aunty. What I said was real!"

"Well, now I understand and what Kendrick said is true. It seems you don't deserve to be part of our family so I guess your engagement should be void!"

"What?" Kimberly was shocked to hear what Kendrick's mother said.

"Madam, please forgive my granddaughter," Fedrick said, Kimberly foolishly, adding to the fire.

"Uncle, who became a daughter-in-law in our family is certainly not an arbitrary woman. We don't judge by face alone but we judge by behavior. Ken is so right, Kimberly has a lot to learn to control her emotions and words. Aib his own biological brother can he open easily then what about the disgrace of our family after he joined our extended family? Don't let the disgrace of our family spread because he can't keep his word."

"Aunty, am I not?"

"There's no need to defend yourself for the wrongs you've done, Kimberly. Seeing your nature, I think it's best if your engagement is off!" ainsley said again.

"You destroyed it yourself, Grandfather can't do anything!"

"No, it's all because of Emma!" after saying so, Kimberly ran away. His grandfather tried to prevent, he knew what Kimberly was going to do.

Kimberly doesn't care, she keeps running away because she wants to make a calculation with Emma who's already ruined her relationship with Kendrick. Today, she had to make Emma feel the pain of her heart. He hated, hated Emma and should have just died when the accident happened.
