Inciting With A Lie

Kimberly who does not accept the relationship ends up with Kendrick coming to the office to see Kendrick. He will keep trying to get Kendrick back and convince Kendrick if he will change. After all there will be no more interference because Emma has agreed to get married. Maybe Kendrick is still hoping for Emma but once Emma gets married, she's sure Kendrick won't be hoping for more.

Kendrick, who was busy investigating the events four years ago, seemed unhappy with Kimberly's arrival. Though she had ended their relationship but it seemed that Kimberly was unwilling to accept it. Kimberly has been difficult to talk to and want to talk to herself. His nature has not changed at all.

"Why are you coming, Kimberly?" Kendrick asked cynically because she didn't want to be nice anymore which could make Kimberly feel she had hope.

"I came to take you to lunch, what's wrong?" ask Kimberly reasoned.

"I'm busy, you go alone. Our relationship is over, so don't come around as often as you used to!"

"How could you say that, Kendrick!" both hands were already clenched, it seemed like Kendrick was unwilling to meet him again but he would not let go because he would never give up.

"Our relationship is over Kimberly, so we can't be as familiar as we used to be. I will consider you as a friend even I will consider you as my sister but we must keep our distance!"

"I don't want to be your best friend let alone your sister!" kimberly Shouts.

"Don't scream. These days you've been showing a lot of vices that you've been hiding for the past four years and I didn't expect you to be so good at deceiving me!"

"I didn't fool you, Ken, not at all. It's all because of Emma, she made me like this!" kimberly.

"Against Emma. Why do you always blame her? Do you hate her?"

"All because of Emma. We're getting married but you're just canceling our marriage, even if you end our relationship and it's all because of her. Why do you have to do it when he comes back? Why not last year or a few months ago? Why do you have to do it when you have him, Kendrick? If not for him, then who else? "You're a real heart, Kendrick!" kimberly Shouts. It hurts so much, the man she loved a long time ago turned out to only think of her as a sister. The love he had always clapped one hand and his attempt to get Kendrick always failed.

"No need to scream. We've known her since childhood and you know who I want so you should know the consequences when you offer to replace Emma. I've been trying, Kimberly. I've been trying to cultivate feelings for you but I can't and I'm trying to forget about Emma but feelings that have been around for a long time, can't be taken for granted!"

"He's a ja*ang and it's dirty, don't you mind?"

"I'm trying to figure this out, how dirty Emma is and what's wrong Emma is but answer my question carefully, what happened to Emma so she forgot me and didn't know me?"

"Don't cheat, I can see it. He doesn't recognize me at all. Tell me, was it like that when you got back from London? Did he ever have an accident until he lost his memory?"

"Don't dream, Ken. You take seriously the promise you made as a child but not Emma. When we lived in London, Emma was already in a relationship with a lot of men. "What did you say?" Kendrick was surprised to hear that. Emma's getting married?

"That's proof that you don't mean anything to him. She agreed to marry the man Grandpa would introduce her to in a moment and you can judge her. Why did he want to and he didn't want to? That's because the man she's about to marry is you that's why she refused!"  this incitement is good enough to fool Kendrick. This way Kendrick would have believed her words if Emma just didn't find them meaningful. Kendrick wouldn't have suspected Emma of losing her memory and she hoped that no one would have been suspicious otherwise her secret would have been exposed.

Kendrick shut up, thought. Is what Kimberly said true? She knew Kimberly was sneaky a long time ago so she better not swallow Kimberly said. She must find out the truth especially Kimberly hates Emma because she considers Emma the mastermind of the breakdown of their relationship.

"All right, I get it!" kendrick returned to his seat.

"Trust me, what I said about him is true!"

"I believe it but that doesn't mean our relationship will come back. Now you can go, thanks for the information."

"What's? I want to take you to lunch, Kendrick. I promise to change because of that, give me a chance to improve!"

"Sorry, I can't. I told you, we can't get too close and there's no chance!"

"Don't be cruel, Ken. Just lunch, nothing more!" Kendrick was really keeping his distance and it was really frustrating.

"Sudan I said I can't, so don't make me repeat it!" kendrick said, looking at him sharply.

Kimberly cursed inwardly, inevitably she had to leave. He'd better go home and ask his grandfather to speed up Emma's marriage. Do not let there be an opportunity between Emma and Kendrick and do not let his lie be revealed because if it happens, not only his lie but the actions he did first will be revealed. She hopes Emma doesn't get her memories back for good.

He had instigated Kendrick with a lie. She hopes Kendrick believes that it will not prevent Emma's marriage but after she leaves, Kendrick goes to see her little friend in the hospital.
