Cannot Be Bothered by a Suit

Daniel is undergoing his first therapy after being transferred to the hospital for several days. Daniel had asked his mother many times whether Kendrick knew they were there or not but Emma would not answer. Emma doesn't even give Daniel her phone anymore because she doesn't want Daniel to call Kendrick. His cell phone number has been changed so Kendrick can't find her son anymore.

Emma did just that so Kendrick wouldn't know where they were. He did not want to make the atmosphere become chaotic let alone he and Aston were already getting married. Promise is promise, Grandpa gives what he wants so he will follow what his grandfather wants.

While Daniel was in therapy, Emma could not accompany him. Emma chose to wait in the room where her son was being treated. It felt like a long time ago, for sure Emma waited impatiently. He hopes the therapy undertaken by Daniel can treat the disease. Emma hopes Daniel's therapy is done quickly because she can't wait to know the results. Waiting is not fun, Emma is really restless and when the door of the room opens, Emma is very happy but when she sees Kimberly and her grandfather, the pleasure is gone.

"If you come just to argue with me you better just go!" said Emma.

"I'm accompanying grandfather, you can't kick me out. Besides, there's something important that grandfather wants to tell you" Kimberly said haughtily.

"What's so important to Grandpa?" ask Emma. Bad premonition, he was sure that there was something unpleasant that his grandfather would have said otherwise, his grandfather would not have come.

"Grandfather has decided, tomorrow you and Aston must get married!" grandfather said.

"Is grandpa joking? Why is it so fast?" ask Emma. He did not understand why his grandfather was accelerating his marriage to Aston when he wanted to focus on his son.

"I'm not kidding. Tomorrow you'll have to marry Aston. No need to be fancy, just in church."

"But that's too much of a hurry, Grandpa. I need to focus on the treatment Daniel's on."

"I can't be bothered, I said tomorrow. Otherwise, all your son's medical expenses I'll cancel!" threaten grandfather.

"No need to worry, brother. Grandpa and I will buy you a beautiful wedding dress" Kimberly said. Good, this way Kendrick won't go after Emma again.

"As far as you guys are. I have no right to make a choice, so it's up to you. Want to get married later, tomorrow or the day after, it makes no difference!" said Emma.

"Don't be a victim. Wouldn't the one who wants to marry Aston be you and without coercion? Better not act like you have to!" kimberly Shouts.

Emma was silent, there was no point fighting with Kimberly because she was about to lose. After all, he had no right to express his opinion. Rather than making his grandfather angry so he could not get help, he would rather be quiet.

"Enough, Kimberly. Don't scream. Emma's already agreed to get married tomorrow so there's nothing to fuss about anymore!" said their grandfather.

"As long as grandfather keeps his word, I won't mind!" said Emma.

"Not to worry. Even though Aston will take you on the move, I will still be financing your son's treatment until he recovers!"

"Thank you, Grandpa. As long as grandfather doesn't break his promise, I won't argue!" at least what he did was worth what he got.

"If so prepare yourself tomorrow because you're getting married to Aston!"

They came out of the room but when the door opened, they were shocked because Daniel was at the door with a nurse.

"Of course, Mommy. Daniel was very tired and very anxious to sleep."

"Well, you do need a break. Come on, Mommy accompany," take Emma who has invited her son to come in.

"Sorry grandfather, I can't deliver!" said Emma.

"No need!" kimberly said cynically.

Emma immediately brought her son inside, the nurse followed because there were some drugs that Daniel had to take but before that he had to take care of Daniel.

"Mrs, you were called by the doctor."

"really?" ask Emma. He wanted to discuss something with Daniel about his marriage because he was afraid that Daniel would hear his conversation with his grandfather and want to find out how he was doing.

"The doctor wants to discuss Daniel's situation so he's asking you to go to his room."

"All right, please take care of Daniel. I'll be right back."

"Surely, Madam."

"thank you. Daniel, get some rest!"

"Daniel's a smart kid is definitely going to rest," Daniel smiled broadly. Emma smiled, guessing that Daniel did not hear her conversation with her grandfather. If so, he does not need to discuss his marriage first because Daniel's condition really should be good when undergoing therapy.

Emma's leaving, she has to see a doctor first to find out Daniel's condition. Daniel was given medicine first and he was helped lie down by his nurse.

"Suster, Daniel wants to ask for help. Would the nurse help?" ask Daniel.

"Surely, say. The nurse will help" said the nurse.

"Thank you, sister," Daniel smiled again and before his mother returned, he asked the nurse for help to do something for him.

Emma, who had finished talking to the doctor, returned to accompany her son. He wanted to talk to Daniel, but Daniel went to sleep.

"Well, she's asleep" said Emma because the nurse was still looking after her son.

"Today she's so excited, ma'am. He said he wanted to get well quickly so he could take the madam away from his evil great-grandfather."

"really?" Emma looked in disbelief as her son was excited during therapy.

"Yeah, she's not even crying."

"I'm so glad to hear that. Thanks for taking care of her."

"Alright, I'm staying madam."

"Thank you" Emma approached Daniel and pulled the blanket. A kiss landed on his son's forehead. Inwardly she apologizes to Daniel for having to hide her marriage to Aston which was disliked by her son. It's okay, later he will talk Daniel after he undergoes several therapy and after his condition is better. He also hoped that Daniel could be healed so that his sacrifice was not in vain.
