Chapter Seventy Four

Kenzo sat on the balcony until morning, he could not meet Alesha. He remembered his treatment of Alesha.

Kenzo heard the ringing sound of his phone, he saw Azril's name on his phone screen. Kenzo just shut the phone down. Moments back his phone rang, still with the name Azril listed. Kenzo doesn't mind anymore. He laid his body on the sofa on the balcony.

An hour later his phone rang again, this time the name of the Mother listed. Kenzo finally picked up his phone.

"Finally you picked it up" Azril said across the street

"You want what you...."

"Tell Alesha that you're gone"

"Are you not duplicating"

"Do you think, I can joke about my father's death"

"Sorry.I'll tell you later"

"We've been on our way to Bandung. I called but you didn't pick it up, so my mom and I decided to leave without Alesha"

"Me and Lesha will follow"

"Whatever, I just want to tell you that. "

Azril closed his phone. Kenzo immediately got up from his sleep and headed for the room.

He saw Alesha wearing Khaira's clothes. Kenzo touching Alesha's shoulder made Alesha startled.

Alesha looked at Kenzo and clasped her hands.

"I'm sorry, brother, I promise I'll never see Azril again. We're going back to Singapore now. I've prepared everything"

"Sha, I'm sorry"

"Sister Kenzo wasn't wrong, I was wrong. I shouldn't have met another man without the husband's permission"

"Sha, father has died" said Kenzo

Alesha heard Kenzo's words instantly release her hand and slumped to the floor. His body feels weak.

Kenzo knelt before Alesha and held onto Alesha's shoulders. He saw Alesha's empty eyes. No tears came out.

"Sha, cry. Don't be quiet like this. If you're sad you can wipe it with your tears, don't be quiet"

"We're still going back to Singapore today 'sister"

"We go to Bandung first. We're going to follow Dad's funeral procession"

"No need brother, I won't be able to come back either. I can send a prayer to Dad wherever I am"

While Alesha changed clothes, Kenzo contacted his friend who was a senior officer in the police. He asked for help to make his escort to Bandung.

On the way to Bandung Alesha was silent without a sound, his gaze still empty. No tears came out. It was as if Alesha's tears had dried up. Kenzo saw Alesha so, feeling very guilty. He shouldn't have banned Alesha from looking after dad yesterday.

Arriving at the funeral home, Azril's residence. Mourners have been seen filling his house and yard. Alesha went into the house. Looks like dad's body stiffened in the sheets.

Mother and Azril saw Alesha's steps approaching the body of the father. Alesha opened the cover of my father's face and rubbed it.

Azril who was sitting next to Alesha whispered to her.

"You're satisfied Lesha, finally the truth I can't hear from your mouth until she closes her eyes"

Alesha looked at Azril with a blank look, she moved from beside Azril without making a sound. He hugged mom.

"Mother, I'm sorry. I can't accompany you at dad's last minute"

"No, son, I must be happy enough to see and see you before he closes his eyes"

Alesha just kept quiet while hugging her. After that the body of the father was bathed and then pardoned.

Ustad read the prayer, and Azril as the heir delivered his greeting. The body was taken to the funeral.

Throughout the journey Alesha remained silent. Kenzo grew worried about Alesha's change in attitude. He is usually easy to cry, why when you go there are no tears coming out. Alesha endured all her pain.

Kenzo was still holding Khaira until the funeral. All the eyes of the neighbors who were ushering in looked at Khaira with astonished eyes. Khaira's face reminded them of little Azril.

Kenzo covered Khaira's face with the hat he wore. He did not want Khaira to be the center of Azril's neighbor's attention.

Father's body began to be lowered into the burrow. Alesha who was standing beside the mother looked trembling. Azril welcomed the body of the father from inside the burrow.

After being placed properly, Azril tried to kill his father's body. Alesha's body seemed to tremble even more. Kenzo saw it approaching Alesha.

"Darling, if you're not strong, you better sit in the car" Kenzo whispered. Alesha did not listen to Kenzo's words.

Azril went upstairs and began to lower the sand to cover the body of the father with other grave-digger workers.

Looking at the body of the father that was starting to be covered in soil, Alesha could not hold herself back anymore.

"I'm sorry Lesha" cried Alesha and threw herself into the grave. Alesha finally fainted.

All the mourners were shocked to see what Alesha was doing. Azril lifting Alesha's body . He carried Alesha's body and carried her into his car.

Kenzo followed Azril who carried Alesha and Khaira in Kenzo's arms crying as if he knew what his mommy was feeling right now.

"Why don't you just put Alesha in my car" Kenzo asked

"I won't take your wife. May I carry Khaira, who knows she will be silent in my arms"

"Necessary.Khaira must be just thirsty"

"You won't be able to take care of Alesha and Khaira at once. I won't take Khaira running even if I'm sure she's my real son. I'm not gonna act without proof"

"I don't want to argue anymore, Azril"

"Then let me take Alesha to the hospital, you take care of Khaira..."

"I can do it myself. All this time I was also able to take care of Alesha and Khaira on my own without your help"

Kenzo then asked the driver for help to carry Alesha to the car. He then left the cemetery to the nearest hospital.

Kenzo took Alesha inside the IGD room when she reached the hospital. The driver was carrying Khaira.

After finding the doctor's treatment, Alesha was finally transferred to the treatment room. He was just too much of a thought and dehydrated to make him faint.
