Chapter Thirty Eight S2

Khaira kept trying to stand up even though her body felt very weak. He brushed aside Diego and Kenzo's arms.

Khaira walked up to Oma and the still mami sat on the sofa.

"Oma, what does oma mean if I'm an illegitimate child" Khaira said with tears flowing

"Seek an explanation with Kenzo that you've been calling daddy all along. Who always spoils you"

"Daddy.I want an explanation. Does this have anything to do with the papi not being able to attend my marriage as guardian"

"Khaira, don't listen to oma"

Khaira knelt before Kenzo and cried sobbing. Diego approaches and helps Khaira to stand up.

"Daddy, please. Explain all. So that I know the reason oma has not liked me all this time" Khaira said on her knees pleading.

"Khaira, it's dear. Don't think about oma's words. You're sick" Diego approached Khaira.

"Diego, I need to know everything. If I don't deserve you, I'm willing to split up"

"Don't say that, whatever it is, I won't part with you"

"Khaira, you're calm now huh. Daddy promised to explain everything 'if your situation has improved"

Kenzo approached Khaira and wanted to hug her body.

"Enough daddy. Don't spoil me anymore, if it makes my mom hurt. I don't want my mom to get hurt more because of daddy's attitude towards me. Mami, once again I'm sorry if because of my presence all this time makes mami feel alienated and hurt"

Khaira stood up and shook Diego's hand, walking towards the exit.

"Khaira wait." said Diego chasing Khaira.

"Stop Diego's. Let me alone first. You better solve this problem first with mommy and oma. After everything is done, you just meet me. And whatever decision you make, I'll take it."

"Khaira, you don't go" Kenzo said

"Sorry daddy, from today I will never be spoiled again. Don't I have a papi where I'm spoiled. And I hope daddy keeps his distance from me...."

Khaira got out of the house in a hurry. Diego then approached the oma and her mother. He looked at her with a red face restraining his anger

"Listen oma ..mami, Khaira is pregnant with my son. Mami's granddaughter. If anything happens with Khaira's womb I'll never forgive oma and mami"

After saying the word, Diego left the oma and her mother. He will run after Khaira.

He's looking for Khaira in the yard of his house. But didn't see it. Khaira who came out of the house with a chaotic mind just kept walking quickly down the front street of Diego's house.

Diego went back in wanting to get his car keys into the room.

"Where are you going, Diego. Forgive me mommy" said Hanna. Diego didn't press it. He walked quickly to the trunk.

Khaira did not see any motor running at high speed. The motorbike could not be evaded when it arrived Khaira appeared and wanted to cross, an accident was inevitable.

The biker who panicked, immediately fled to see Khaira who was lying on the side of the road.

The other road rider saw Khaira immediately trying to help.

He went down and approached the crowd. His mind was starting to calm down, Diego did not want what was feared to happen.

"What is Khaira....."

"Mas, please bring this woman. It looks like he was a hit-and-run victim" said one of them, who saw Diego get out of the car

Diego came forward and flushed the crowd, he saw Khaira lying down. Diego was in shock.

"Khaira.." cried Diego.

He immediately carried Khaira's body and brought her closer to the car. He put Khaira in the passenger seat.

Khaira's accident was actually not so severe, just because of shock and his body is weak makes Khaira can not resist his body fell down the asphalt.

Diego drives his car at high speed. He looked at Khaira from the rearview mirror.

"Hold, baby. You have to be strong for the sake of our son." Diego said.

"God save Khaira and our baby. I won't forgive oma if something happens with Khaira or our baby"

Arriving at the hospital, Khaira was immediately carried to the IGD room .

Diego waited anxiously. He called Atha. Because Azril can't be contacted. Probably on his way back from his out-of-town service.

Kenzo finds out that Khaira has been in an accident right out of his study. She left Mama and Hanna alone in her study.

Coming out of the study, he still saw Mama and Hanna sitting in the living room.

Kenzo stood up with an angry face while saying in a loud voice.

"Now mama is content to have hurt Khaira. What's the kid's fault. If you don't like Alesha, why do you hate Khaira. Right now Khaira's in an accident and if something happens to her womb, I don't know what Diego would do. He will be very disappointed. No child asks to be born as badly as Khaira, all babies are holy. What was wrong with her parents, not her children..."

Kenzo left in a hurry to leave the house.

Hanna looks shocked to hear that Khaira has an accident.

"Oh my God, I never meant to hurt Khaira like this. I also don't want anything to happen with her. He's also my grandson's candidate."

"I'm afraid that the contents of Khaira cannot be saved"

"Maybe it's the best. If the content can not be saved, it will be better. Because it'll be easy to separate them"

"Ma, that's my grandson. However Kenzo is right, Khaira is innocent. Why should we hate him"

"Give me, Hanna. You've heard stories about Alesha, Azril and Kenzo. You know that Khaira is an out-of-wedlock child. That's what made my mom never like him. Did you forget, because of Khaira's presence, Kenzo can't love you. Khaira always reminds Kenzo of Alesha's figure"

"Ma.sorry. I disagree with my mom this time. Because we can't separate married people. If they were still dating, maybe I could support mama to separate them. Khaira is currently pregnant. I'll catch up with Kenzo. I'm gonna find out where Khaira's been taken care of...."

Hanna went into her room leaving mom and changed her clothes. He took the car keys while trying to contact Diego.
