Chapter Thirty One S2

Today Khaira and Diego will be carrying out the marriage contract. From morning he was restless because papi could not be contacted. He tries to contact Atha but he doesn't know if Khaira is getting married.

"Apaa..mbak is getting married. Why don't you ever talk about it." Atha said in shock when Khaira contacted her.

Khaira asks what made Papi not tell Atha about his marriage.

Atha also said if the papi from yesterday was not home, he went out of town.

Khaira sat down on the edge of the bed. Diego came in and saw his future wife filled with tears.

Diego stood in front of Khaira and cupped Khaira's face.

"Dear, don't be sad. I'm sure papi will be present. Maybe papi's on the road now"

"I'm afraid you can't attend" said Khaira hugging Diego's waist and crying in the man's stomach.

"Don't cry, it'll be broken"

"Diego.papi can't miss my happy day. But why didn't papi tell me about my marriage to Atha"

"Maybe papi has a consideration that makes him hide all this"

Kenzo entered after he saw Khaira calm down. He approached the beloved girl like his own biological daughter.

"Daddy.why papi can not be contacted" said Khaira with tears that still flow.

"Honey, you have to believe that Papi must be present to watch your wedding"

"But why from yesterday papi could not be contacted. I'm afraid something happened to Papi. Daddy, I don't want to lose papi. Papi everything to me. Only papi I have..."

Kenzo hugged Khaira bringing her into his chest. She did not think that Khaira was worried not because her papi could not attend her wedding but she was afraid something happened to her papi. She was afraid of losing her papa after her mother died.

At exactly nine o'clock Kenzo was finally able to persuade Khaira to leave for KUA. At first, Khaira did not want to until she heard from her papa.

Diego also persuades Khaira to leave, as the wedding will take place at ten.

"Darling, you see me. Don't you want to marry me. Do you want to cancel our wedding. You believe not, if papi definitely will not pass your happy day. If indeed the papi cannot be present, believe the papi prayer will certainly accompany. There must be a strong reason that makes papi not yet come. Certainly not the intention of the papi to miss our marriage contract. This may be the beginning of our marriage test. Didn't we promise to face some test that will hinder our marriage..."

"Yes, Diego. You're right, papi wouldn't want this to happen. I'm sure this is all out of Papi's control"

On the way to KUA , Khaira was still pensive. Diego hugs Khaira's body giving him strength.

Arriving at the KUA office as Kenzo had planned with the penghulu and his employees, they said they would wait for the arrival of the marriage guardian for up to an hour if the absence of the wedding was postponed .

After an hour KUA officials returned to meet Diego and Khaira.

"How come, we can't wait any longer because there's still a wedding going on"

Kenzo planned all of this ahead of the officer.

"What if the guardian of the marriage is represented by the guardian of the judge. There may be problems on his way"

Khaira was crying again. He was very worried about his papa.

"Alright, we'll make a marriage license"

The employee and Kenzo entered the room and prepared a letter of agreement.

Khaira and Kenzo are asked to sign. Khaira is forced to sign because she sees Diego's pleading face.

Khaira is not up to heart if she has to cancel this marriage. Daddy Kenzo persuaded him too.

Azril who had been in one of the rooms waited anxiously during her daughter's marriage contract. He was afraid that Khaira would not want to pursue marriage without her becoming a guardian.

After Kenzo sent a message saying the marriage contract would take place, Azril was relieved.

Without Khaira and Diego knowing, Kenzo turns on his phone which contacts Azril, so Azril can still listen to the marriage contract going on.

Diego says the marriage contract with a single breath that indicates if their marriage is legal.

Diego and Kenzo breathed in as witnesses said their marriage was legal.

The cry of Khaira finally broke. He never thought that the wedding could not be attended by his parents.

After signing the marriage certificate, Azril ran into the room.

Khaira who saw his papa immediately stood up and hugged him.

"Papii.." said Khaira hugging her papi tightly.

"Honey, sorry.papi late yes" said Azril with tears that also shone.

"What's wrong, papi, that I'm afraid something's going on with papi.I'm afraid..."

"Darling, once again papi apologizes for not being your guardian"

Azril rubbed his daughter's back to calm down.

"Papii.don't ever leave me"

"No dear. Papi won't leave you"

"I am very anxious and afraid." said Khaira again with still sobbing.

Azril took Khaira to sit down. All those in the room could not help but tear at the sight of father and son hugging each other with tears streaming down their cheeks.

Diego then approached Azril and regretted it. He is now the husband of Princess Azril.

Azril released his embrace on Khaira's body. He kissed his daughter's head.

Khaira seemed to start smiling. He was relieved that his papa was in good condition.
