Chapter Eighteen S2

After Diego leaves home for his college and Kenzo leaves for work, Hanna heads to Diego's room.

He wanted to investigate the truth of what mom said if Diego was keeping a secret.

Hanna tries to open the door to Diego's room, apparently locked.

"Since when Diego locked the door to his room. Is he hiding something" Hanna murmured.

Hanna remembered she kept all the spare keys in this house. He then went downstairs to his room.

Hanna went into the room and looked for a spare key in her closet drawer. He took it all in to try out which key fit Diego's room.

One by one the keys tried to open the room Diego, until finally one key that fits open the door Diego room.

"Oh, I can finally open it" Hanna said with relief

Hanna walked into Diego's room slowly with a slightly nervous feeling.

He looked at Diego's room. Nothing seems suspicious. Until finally Hanna's eyes were fixed to the left wall next to the bookcase there is a very large photo of Khaira.

"Since when was there a photo of Khaira in Diego's room. Diego really loves Khaira. Why Diego put Khaira's picture on this big picture"

Hanna walks to Diego's desk, shocked to see what's on Diego's desk.

On Diego's desk, there are many pictures of Khaira scattered among his textbooks.

Hanna took all the pictures of Khaira and observed them.

"Isn't this in the family villa. When did Diego go alone with Khaira. And the clothes that Khaira was wearing seemed to be Diego's clothes" Hanna murmured

He looked at the photo again. And see the date of the photo.

"This photo was taken a year ago, exactly when the mother was in care. Did Diego go to the villa with Khaira before they went to Singapore. What they do..."

Hanna continued to observe one by one the photos in her hand. He tried to open Diego's desk drawer.

"What my mother was looking for in my room" said Diego, who arrived at the back of Hanna's body.

The shocked Hanna dropped all the pictures of Khaira in her hand.;

Diego crouched down and picked up one by one a photo of Khaira falling to the floor of his room.

"You, aren't you in college ..honey"

Diego stood up and looked at his mother with probing eyes.

"What are you looking for and doing in my room" Diego repeated his question.

"No baby, I just want to clean your room" said Hanna nervously

"Darling, I'm afraid you're not so clean"

"If I'm not mistaken, my bedroom door is locked, did my mom open it with a spare key. My mom can't wait for me. And mommy knows, if a room is someone's privacy. I've grown up, can't mom make room for my privacy. Mommy can ask permission to come into my room"

"Sorry dear, usually my mom goes into your room without asking permission..."

"I think my mom last walked into this room three years ago. But what made my mom so curious to come in and clean my room again"

"Diego, why do you say that. Are you suspicious of mami. Mama should be suspicious of you. Why are you closing your door now. And that's what, why there's a picture of Khaira so big. That's also why there are so many photos of Khaira .." said Hanna pointing at Diego's hand.

"Is there anything wrong if I put on display and keep a photo of Khaira. Is there a ban on a sister displaying her mbak photos"

"Of course it's wrong.this is overkill. Did a sister keep a picture of her sister"

"And what are you doing with Khaira in the villa. Why don't you tell mommy and daddy if you're spending time at the villa before you go to Singapore"

"Mommy said goodbye, do you not have a lecture schedule, why are you back again." said Hanna switched the conversation.

"My lecturer turned out to be sick and there was no scheduled lecture. I'm back just want to take something, I'll be out after this"

"All right." said Hanna and walked out of Diego's room with thoughts still on Diego and Khaira's relationship.

"There is no connection between Diego and Khaira. I was too influenced by Mama's words. Didn't Diego and Khaira have been very close. Do I have to say everything I saw to Mama...."
