Chapter Forty Four S2

Three months later

Khaira is now entering its fourth month. Diego has rarely been behind cravings.

Kenzo and Hanna hear a loud noise from the kitchen, though it is not clear what they are saying. They stood towards the kitchen.

"Who knew you were married to Diego because you were pregnant with another man. And you just want to use Diego's innocence to cover up your disgrace. Like your mother used to be"

Khaira threw the glass in hand onto the floor.

"Oma's too much, I know you've never liked me. But I still respect oma because daddy, mami and Diego are so good. But this time the oma has gone too far. Oma has disturbed my pride."

Khaira walks out of the kitchen to coincide with Kenzo and Hanna entering.

"Khaira, where are you going" said Hanna holding Khaira's hand.

"I don't want to be here anymore, Mom. My presence was never expected"

"Khaira, don't listen to oma. I know oma is old"

"But this time oma managed to make my pride feel stepped on. I can't take it. I'm going home" said Khaira while releasing Hanna's handrails.

Hanna finally let go of her handrails, she was afraid of hurting Khaira if it forced her to hold on.

Khaira left the house in a taxi. He didn't call Diego but his papa. Khaira said what oma said to her while crying.

Azril asked Khaira to go to his office. Because he was also ready to go home. Azril wanted to take Khaira away. He could not accept the words of his mother Kenzo. He will not let his son be harassed by anyone.
