Episode 54

"What are you doing here?" said Cindy who was surprised to see Soraya in the office. Surveying Soraya's appearance from top to bottom, he was seen wearing formal clothes. Cindy's jaw spontaneously hardens.

"I work here Auntie" Soraya said after she turned to the source of the voice.

"Since when?" ask Cindy to investigate, because Soraya has returned to her work as an artist.

"Walked two weeks" Soraya replied. "Yes, Soraya went back to the room to continue her work" Soraya continued, then left Cindy and Kevin.

Cindy gritted her teeth, annoyed. Highlight his eyes looked at Soraya's back that was getting further away. Why can he be lost, his mind.

"Ma!" reprimanding Kevin when he saw his mother who was silent.

As Cindy regained her senses, she sighed. He looked at his son and smiled faintly.

"Why is Mama here?"

"Mama's here to see your father. Mama wants to take this." Cindy raised her hand which was carrying lunch for her husband. "You have lunch with us" Cindy told Kevin.

Kevin seemed to think, but soon he nodded because it was not good to refuse his mother's invitation. He wanted to take Soraya to lunch together. "But it's not time for Ma's lunch yet, there's still half an hour left" said Kevin pulling a little over his shirt's arm to glance at his watch.

"Yes, then Mama wait for you in Papa's office."

Kevin nodded and said goodbye to continue his work. Cindy went to her husband's room.

Cindy put the box of food on the table with a rough, it's interesting to note Bramantyo who is busy working on the office report file. Bramantyo momentarily stopped his activities and then got up from his chair and approached Cindy.

"Why did you get angry?" asked Bramantyo for his wife's attitude, also seen the look on Cindy's face which is now pouting.

Bramantyo thinned her lips, "Make no story Papa, Soraya here just works."

"worked? The kid works? Can what he is, which there is precisely—,"

Bramantyo. "Ma, give Soraya a chance."

"A chance?" cindy said grimace. "A chance he could own this company?" cindy said emotion.

"How much do you really want? Dad gave me more than enough. If Mama's worried about Kevin's future, she's prepared the best for him. Education abroad is also the best career level, we can give Kevin the highest position in this company if necessary. For Papa's property can not be challenged, all the property of Soraya, and not until now we can still enjoy it?" bramantyo said and asked his wife to open her eyes, give thanks and accept what is already there

Cindy looked down, her eyes pointing at the food box. Her husband's words have a point, but the corner of her heart hurts when she sees Soraya or feels guilt when she looks at her son Kevin.

His whole life has always been overshadowed by dark times. Feeling himself devastated by the actions of Soraya's father. He used to be Harry Wijaya's private secretary, and one day they had an out-of-town assignment to attend a big project tender. The night after the tender, Harry Wijaya invited several business partners and Cindy to celebrate the project that had been won. As a result Cindy who attended the event was drunk. The next morning he was found unconscious with Harry Wijaya in a hotel room. And it was not unexpected that a month later she only found out she was pregnant, while Harry Wijaya had just married another woman, who was none other than Soraya's mother.

That's where Cindy felt so bad, she was destroyed plus she was pregnant with a fetus without a husband. His chaotic thoughts prompted him to attempt suicide, but it was fortunate that Bramantyo who saw Cindy who wanted to jump from the roof of the office building tried to help him. He also urged her to tell him the problem.

Bramantyo offered him to father the fetus he conceived, regardless of the origin of the fetus. Because unknown to Cindy, Bramantyo from the beginning had been attracted to him until he was willing to marry Cindy which is actually not based on pity but love.

But until now the wound is still not healed, maybe if only Soraya felt the same as him it would be equivalent to what he felt, the inner Cindy.

"Ma," said Bramantyo, without Cindy knowing it, who was standing next to her. He pulled and carried Cindy's body into his arms. "Bury all that past, Papa knows it hurts. But it hurts even more if Mama keeps her up" whispered Bramantyo accompanied by stroking his wife's back gently.
