Episode 23

"They've been waiting too long, we better go back" Rudi said after Soraya stood up. "And improve your appearance," said Rudi again.

Soraya without answering tried to immediately improve the look also restored the calmness within her. After that the two of them walked together towards the meeting room.

"Where have you two been? why did it just show up?" asked Grandpa Rudi after the two of them approached the table.

"We had a little bit of interest" replied Rudi, after the elders let them sit down.

Soraya introduces herself to Grandpa Rudi and is welcomed, and they talk to each other.

"How is the continuation of your relationship, can it be inaugurated?" prasetyo Nugroho asked with a calm expression, but it was different with Rudi and Soraya.

Rudi had expected today's meeting to lead to that, even now his grandfather's gaze turned serious because Rudi and Soraya still remained silent.

Soraya looked silent, her face water was already pale. He can't say much, resigned is the only way. To reduce his nervousness from earlier he cut both hands and it did not escape the gaze of Rudi who noticed his behavior.

Pounding, Rudi then started to make a sound. "We are waiting for your blessing."

Soraya was stunned, her hand movements instantly stopped. 'Did I not hear wrong?' his inner. He slowly looked, glancing at Rudi who was sitting next to him.

"Then we arrange a good day soon" said Bramantyo

"Faster is better," and is taken in by his Grandpa Rudi.

Soraya did not listen to the words of the elders who were talking. Soraya's brain is now spinning, how Rudi just want to comply with his request. Repeatedly he glanced at Rudi, he looked calm about the situation.

Until the meeting ended, Rudi and his grandfather said goodbye. When Rudi passed Soraya's body, Soraya dared to make a sound while pulling Rudi's arm.

"Are you serious?" soraya said sounding softly in Rudi's ears.

Rudi looked at Soraya's eyes which looked gloomy when closely observed. Not wanting to arouse suspicion on his Grandfather who was watching the behavior of the two of them. Rudi pulled the corner of his lips then nodded.

"We will meet again" said Rudi, with a gentle gesture he took off Soraya's hand and say goodbye.

Rudi had arrived at his apartment after earlier delivering his Grandfather home to the house they lived in. He did not live there because since Rudi returned to Indonesia, he preferred to live independently.

He loosened the tie and headed for the refrigerator to get some cold water. Sipped at him then he started walking into the room continuing to go clean up.

Twenty minutes later, he came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist and wet hair. Seen water still dripping, his left hand he used rubbing a towel on his head.

His eyes were now fixed on the trash can located near the bathroom door, he remembered yesterday's incident. Soon he was looking for the thing he threw away yesterday, lucky that the thing he was looking for was still there.

Tomorrow. Soraya was ready to stand in front of the house because last night she received a message from Rudi, that this morning Rudi invited her to go together. When Rudi's car arrived, Soraya immediately entered without waiting for Rudi's direction.

"I want to ask, why did you change your mind so quickly?" soraya asked as the car drove away from her home.

Rudi turned his head, "You ask, why would I accept you all of a sudden?"

Soraya nodded. "Isn't that what you're asking for" Rudi said.

Soraya wanted to ask again because the answer from Rudi was still stuck in her heart. But seeing Rudi who was focused on driving he undoes his intentions.
