The elevator takes Rudi to the apartment floor he lives in. During the descent from the car until now his hands are not stopping to hold the cellphone, trying to contact Soraya but there is no answer.
The hope is that Soraya has already reached home. And as soon as the apartment door opened, the sound of the first sobbing greeted in his sense of hearing. His steps slowly approached, on the crouching body hiding his head.
Rudi repeatedly sighed before he finally squatted to equalize their height, his hand he used to hold the top of Soraya's head. "Why you?" tanya Rudi was curious about what Soraya was experiencing.
Instead of answering Soraya looked up at her face, revealing a puffy face caused by her crying. Before long he just hit his body on Rudi.
Rudi was confused what to do, because Soraya's crying became more and more. He also tried to calm Soraya by patting her back with a slow movement, but it seems Soraya hugged her more tightly.
Long enough Rudi tried to stay calm facing Soraya, until the hug began to loosen. Soraya retreated away her body with tears still remaining, with a quick movement she rubbed it.
"You haven't eaten, have you?" tanya Rudi switched on another topic.
Soraya shook her head while still lowering her face.
"I will prepare dinner" said Rudi then stood up to go to the kitchen.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean—I just needed an outlet to shed my tears" Soraya said, standing up. While Rudi stopped his steps and turned to look at Soraya.
"I hope this is the last one, I promise I won't cry in front of you." Soraya said so because Rudi was looking at her deeply.
In the middle of his gaze Rudi was thinking. When was the last time his heart was moved to care about women, let alone the person before him? It felt like only one person was his mother. Because throughout his life his sense of care gushed to his mother, until he lost the woman he had always wanted.
There was something he could not hide, namely annoyance. Because his life that has been running so quietly has been disturbed since the presence of a woman named Soraya. But the annoyance turned into a boomerang for him.
Soraya frowned, puzzled by the question that Rudi had just thrown at her. His mouth was half open, confused by his answer. Because from a long time ago he only kept his own sadness, even often he harbored his own problems because he did not want others to know. But this time it was different, he became more emotional after knowing that there was nothing sincere about him.
Rudi breathed an annoyed breath because he never got an answer, "Don't tell me you're confused because you can't answer with which man?"
"Why did you say that?" soraya said, not accepting. "I'm not used to crying, only today I feel sad and out of control" she explained.
Rudi was still highlighting Soraya then slowly he approached, making Soraya confused.
Soraya pegged because Rudi is now peeping his forehead.the second kiss after the marriage contract a few days ago. "Cry just in front of me" said Rudi as Soraya looked up at him.
Still speechless, Rudi retreated leaving Soraya who looked confused. That's what it was, her mind. It felt his heart rustling.
But wait, he needs an explanation. With a quick motion he blocked the path of Rudi who was about to go to the kitchen.
Rudi who understands Soraya's movements then began to say, "I can't promise for now, but I will try to accept you to be a friend who will age with me."
"Does that mean I'm not alone and you accept me as your wife?" asked Soraya hesitated.
Rudi nodded. "I'll try."
Soraya also nodded, her face warmed up because she was blushing and haru. In fact, happiness spread in the corner of his heart. Rudi accepted it was more than enough especially now he was happy because God sent someone who would accompany him all his life.
