Press Conference

Nathan has asked his father for permission not to go to the office because today he will hold a press conference. Alvin has everything ready and Papa Rudi has allowed Alvin and Nathan to use one of his hotels as a place for a press conference.

“Honey, do not have to read fake news like that ya”, Nathan said that morning after breakfast who knew that Alyssa was still reading the news that vilified her.

“Why? It was entertainment for me” Alyssa replied honestly.

“How can it be entertainment? The news is getting more and more outrageous!”

“That's entertainment. They tell me as if they know me. Haha.” Alyssa did consider the news as mere entertainment because for her nothing could ruin her current happiness.

It is undeniable that until now the news about Nathan's marriage is still a hot topic. Moreover, coupled with Nadia who participated in aggravating the atmosphere with her comments when asked by journalists. His comments managed to make people believe that Alyssa had taken Nathan away from him. This made Alyssa hated by many people.

“How did you feel about Nathan's wedding plans?”

“I can't comment much about that. I know both of them well and I feel betrayed now” Nadia said when asked by a number of reporters.

And Nadia's words were successful in making Alyssa's name worse and now Alyssa is even referred to as the third person who made Nathan and Nadia's relationship ended. “Alyssa, don't mind what the snake woman said. He just envies you because Nathan loves you so much!” sarah said while turning off the TV after seeing a gossip show featuring Nadia.

That day Sarah accidentally comes to Nathan's house to meet with Alyssa. He thought Alyssa must have been overwhelmed with bad news about him and Sarah intended to comfort him.

“You rest easy, I won't think too much about Nadia's comments nor the people who hate me” Alyssa replied.

“Tante, will aunty come to the hotel?” sarah asked Maya's aunt who was sitting next to Alyssa.

“No, aunt will watch it from TV only. Aunty wants to accompany this aunt's prospective daughter-in-law”.

Alyssa smiled at the words of her future father-in-law. Sarah was the same, he also smiled and saw that Aunt Maya loved Alyssa very much.

“Ma, I'm the same Alvin departing now yes!” Nathan looks as neat and handsome as ever.

“Yes, you guys be careful on the road ya”.

Nathan was already sitting on the chair that had been prepared for him and Alvin was sitting next to him.

“Is it true you will be married this week with your assistant?” a reporter began to ask.

“Iya true. But our wedding will be simple without inviting the media” crew, Nathan replied calmly.

“Why do you look so rushed with this wedding?”

“Actually this is not in a hurry because I have prepared it long ago” Nathan lied a little.

“Are you not afraid if your career will dim after marriage?”

“No! The wheel is spinning, not forever we will be on top. So while I'm at the bottom, I'll try to get up again!”

“What do you think of Nadia's comments claiming to feel betrayed?”

“Have your future wife taken you from Nadia?”

“I met my future wife after my relationship with Nadia ended. Not long after the press conference ended, the media was like competing to air it. Now everyone knows the real story. Many of them end up supporting the relationship between Nathan and Alyssa although not a few still hate Alyssa. And most of those who hate Alyssa are fans of Nadia.

In the office papa Rudi has watched his son's press conference. There was a sense of pride in him as his son tried to keep the good name of his future wife.
