During the return trip Nathan only fell silent holding back his anger. Alyssa did not dare to speak a word as she knew that Nathan's current mood was not good. Nathan drove his car at such a high speed that the time they should have taken to get home was two hours, to just one and a half hours.

Nathan had stopped right in front of Alvin's house where Alyssa had been living all this time, he was still silent not to talk at all to the girl he loved.

“Nathan, I know you are angry at the moment.” said Alyssa started the conversation with a little doubt.

“Alyssa, you are already my girlfriend, but that does not mean you can interfere with all my personal problems”.

“You mean?”

“I know for sure you want me to be better with papa, so you and mama planned dinner last night right?”

“I don't..” again Alyssa's remark was cut by Nathan.

“That's my family problem. I don't like you interfering too far in this”.

“Nathan, I'm really sorry. But I am not.”

“I don't want to hear any more explanations from you Sa! You better get out of the car, I want to go home now. I'm sleepy, want to rest” said Nathan ketus.

Alyssa was disappointed with Nathan's words. But he knew that at this moment he should not dispute it. With a heavy heart he got out of Nathan's car. When he got out of the car, without saying good night to Alyssa as he used to do, Nathan immediately drove his car away from Alyssa.

Alyssa could only see Nathan's car moving further and further away from his place. His mind was muddled at this moment, for the first time he saw Nathan so angry at him. Tears fell on his cheeks when Nathan's car was gone.

Last night Alyssa couldn't sleep, she kept thinking about Nathan. Several times Alyssa called and sent messages to her lover but there was no reply.

This morning even though he felt unwell because he had not slept all night, Alyssa still went to Nathan's apartment. He thought maybe today Nathan's mood was much better than before. He began cooking Nathan's favorite sweet sour squid to make the man not angry with him anymore. He thought he could persuade Nathan not to get mad at him again with his girlfriend's favorite food.

At nine in the morning Alvin had come to Nathan's apartment, he saw Alyssa sitting in the dining room while staring blankly at the food he had served.

“You why daydream like Sa?” ask Avin.

“Eh.. emm.

“Nathan not awake?”

“Belum”.

“Why not builtin?”

“You've built him”.

Alvin seemed confused by Alyssa's attitude. He's sure there must be something wrong with Nathan and Alyssa. But he undoes his intention to ask and prefers to wake Nathan up.

A few minutes later Nathan was out of the room and looking very neat. Alvin followed behind.

“Breakfast first Nat” bargain Alyssa with her sweet smile.

Nathan ignored him. Although Alyssa had served her favorite food but it did not make Nathan tempted to eat it. He still feels annoyed with Alyssa because of last night's incident.

“Vin, do I have a schedule today?” Nathan turned his face to Alvin who was behind him.

Nathan walks towards the dining table, he sits on a chair and Alyssa happily picks up the plate for Nathan. But Nathan doesn't care about Alyssa, he acts as if Alyssa isn't there. He took the bread and jam and ate it regardless of the sweet sour squid that looked delicious at the dinner table.

“Why don't you have breakfast with your favorite meal? Even choose baki” said Alvin.

“Again would not want aj” replied Nathan cuek.

Alyssa understood that she was being ignored by Nathan. It felt like a pain in the chest with Nathan's attitude like that to him. But Alyssa was still trying to smile like there was no problem. He took Alvin breakfast and let the two men have breakfast together.

“You didn't have breakfast Sa?” alvin asked who saw Alyssa walking towards the kitchen.

“I had breakfast before here Vin” Alyssa lied.

After breakfast Nathan headed to the living room followed by Alvin. While Alyssa cleaned the dining table and kitchen.

“You have a problem with Alyssa?” alvin asked as the two of them were already sitting on the living room sofa.

“I have what schedule today?” Nathan switched the conversation.

“It... Today at two noon you have an interview with XX” magazine.

“Let's go now” Nathan is up from his seat.

“Where?”

“To the magazine's office, he said I have interview”.

“But it's two noon Nat”.

“We go there now, I no longer feel at home”.

“Sorry Nat, surely because I am not you feel at home?” Alyssa overheard Nathan talking like that. “You stay here Nat, let me go home” continued Alyssa while taking her bag and hurrying to the main door.

“Alyssa! You why the hell?” Alvin chases Alyssa to the door but Alyssa quickly closes the door and runs towards the elevator.

“Nathan, you got into a fight with Alyssa?” Alvin demands an explanation from Nathan.

“Not your business!”

“OK, it's none of my business. But your attitude towards Alyssa earlier was very boyish”.

Nathan doesn't care about Alvin's words, he passes to his room. Nathan is still angry with Alyssa because he suspects Alyssa is part of his mother's plan to make things right with her papa.

“Aarrgghh!” Nathan rattled his hair in annoyance.

Actually he did not want to treat Alyssa like that, but he did not accept that Alyssa meddled in his family problems. Nathan's really upset. He looked in all directions in his room until his eyes stopped on Alvin's little birthday gift package for him. He took the package roughly and opened it quickly. Nathan's frustration grew when he found out that Alvin had given him another pair of socks. This is the umpteenth time Alvin gave her socks as a birthday gift.

“He thinks I don't have any money to buy socks?” upset Nathan. He threw the gift of socks from Alvin to the sofa by the window of his room.

Nathan dropped himself on the bed. His eyes looked at the ceiling of the room. Slowly the drowsiness began to approach him again when he had just awoken an hour ago from his sleep. His eyes began to close along with the silence he felt. And it did not feel like he was sound asleep either.
