Heartbroken

Rangga was a little curious about Nathan's attitude. Who was he looking for that made him look so worried? That was the question that was in Rangga's mind. He tried to ignore it but it was very difficult. Somehow his heart said that Nathan was looking for Alyssa. Trying to reject her heart, Rangga convinces herself that there is nothing between Nathan and Alyssa. Their relationship is limited to the artist and his assistant.

Nathan approaches Alvin in the dugout to ask where Alyssa is. Alvin tells her that Alyssa is in the car and Nathan quickly heads to his car park, ignoring Alvin who has prepared lunch for him.

In the car, Alyssa had stopped crying but her eyes looked a little puffy. With a slight smile Alyssa tried to strengthen her heart which still hurt.

The car door opened and Nathan sat down next to Alyssa in the back seat of the car. Nathan sees Alyssa smiling at him but he can't hide that she was crying. With a quick movement Nathan instantly pulled Alyssa into his arms. He hugged his lover until Alyssa felt a little tight.

“I love you Sa!”

“Emm.. Nat, hug it don't screw-up”.

Nathan loosened his embrace a little. He kissed Alyssa's head several times.

“You angry?” nathan asked later.

“Ngak kok”.

“Totally?”

“Truly Nat! Even though it hurts a little bit to see it but I know it's all just acting”.

“I'm sorry!” Nathan let go of his embrace and clung to Alyssa while holding both of his hands. “I just don't want Nadia to take so many chances that I do.”

“I understand! Emm. Now we better have lunch first yuk. I'm hungry” take Alyssa.

Nathan got out first from the car and a few minutes later Alyssa came out so no one could be suspicious of them. From a distance, Rangga was observing. He sees Nathan getting out of the car and is followed by Alyssa. He becomes suspicious of Nathan and Alyssa. But the principle still remains the same as before, if no one claims to be Alyssa's boyfriend then she will continue to approach the girl.

There was still about thirty minutes after lunch for Nathan to take a break before he started filming. He used his time to indulge in Alyssa. He placed his head on Alyssa's lap and closed his eyes while Alyssa rubbed Nathan's hair gently. And of course Alvin was immune to this sight. Pissed off? Alvin is obviously upset and if this is the case he will be damning himself who has never expressed his love for Sarah when they are now getting closer.

“Hey you! Please appreciate my presence here!” shout Alvin.

“Do not mind him” Nathan told Alyssa and still closed his eyes but did not really fall asleep.

Alvin walked towards Nathan and immediately pulled his foot. Of course it made his head slump from Alyssa's lap. Nathan stood up and wanted to avenge Alvin. He chased after Alvin who ran around the room. While Alyssa just chuckled to see the two adult men acting like two little boys playing a chase. When they were joking suddenly Rangga came to them.

“Wah, it seems exciting nih” he said when he saw Nathan and Alvin chasing each other.

At once Alvin and Nathan looked at Rangga, as well as Alyssa.

“What's up?” Nathan asked Rangga who was now sitting next to Alyssa. He was upset with Rangga because the man tried to continue to approach his girlfriend but Nathan tried not to show his frustration.

“Can I have a word with Alyssa?”

“You said what?” Alyssa started to look agitated. He was afraid that Nathan would be angry with him if he talked to Rangga alone.

“Speaking about something important” replied Rangga.

Actually Nathan was curious about what Rangga wanted to talk about. It was very desirable for her to join the conversation but she convinced herself that Alyssa only loved her and there was no place in Alyssa's heart for Rangga.

“What do you want to say?” alyssa asked as she and Rangga had found a comfortable place for them to chat.

“Sa, I want to speak honestly with you” said Rangga steadily. He had prepared this before and finally today he would express his feelings to Alyssa.

“Honest about what?”

“Alyssa, I love you!”

Alyssa was surprised to not expect Rangga to say directly that he loved her without giving the opening words first. Alyssa looked at Rangga with an uneasy feeling. However, today he must tell Rangga that he has a lover even if it means he will hurt the man who has been so good to him.

“Emm... Rangga, I. it. emm..” Alyssa stuttered a little.

“Alyssa!” Rangga had now grasped both of Alyssa's hands. “This feeling is sincere. From the beginning we met I have started to be interested in kamu”.

Alyssa let go of Rangga's hand. Really he felt bad for Rangga but he had to say so that Rangga did not expect more from him.

“Rangga, emm. I honestly feel comfortable with you. You are a nice and cool person, you can make me laugh if I am sad again. But I'm comfortable with you as a friend, nothing more. Sorry Ngga.” after saying that Alyssa's feelings so not care. He really did not want his friendship with Rangga to be damaged just because of this.

“Why? Why do you only consider me a friend? Is there anyone else you like?”

“Rangga, I'm sorry. Actually I've loved someone else” finally the sentence came out of Alyssa's mouth.

Alyssa could see a look of disappointment on Rangga's face. Even though the man tried to keep smiling at her but Alyssa knew Rangga was heartbroken.

“Rangga, I'm really sorry. But really I don't want our friendship broken just because of this”.

“Who?” ask Rangga.

“Who is what?” Alyssa was confused by Rangga's question.

“Who is it? Your loved ones it”.

“Emm. that's.he's a person you don't know. He's my friend in kampung” Alyssa replied lying. He could not say that Nathan was the one he loved.

Rangga is not a stupid man, he knows very well that Alyssa is currently lying. But he pretended to believe it. Although there is no evidence that the man loved by Alyssa is Nathan but Rangga feels confident that his guess is right.

“Rangga? We're still friends, right?”

“Yes, we remain friends!” Rangga said that sentence with a smile.

Although now his heart feels like slashed but Rangga is trying hard. He will continue to strive to be the best friend for Alyssa. He will faithfully wait for Alyssa, who knows Alyssa's relationship with her loved ones does not go smoothly then she still has a chance to take Alyssa's heart. He secretly prayed in his heart that the relationship Alyssa and her loved ones did not go well. Evil indeed he prayed like that, but that was his current wish.
