Jealous

Nathan approached Nadia and sat down beside her. Nadia looked at Nathan with a look of wonder and pleasure. He smiled at the man and tried to act as if nothing had ever happened between them. Everyone was now looking towards the ex-lover. They were curious about the interaction of the two after parting ways without ever telling the cause of their breakup.

“Let's work professionally” that's the word spoken slowly by Nathan.

Nadia just smiled at the man she still loved. But his gaze then shifted when he saw the figure of the girl who was looking at them from a distance. Yes, Alyssa had also been watching them. This was an opportunity for Nadia to make Alyssa jealous of him. He quickly tried to look familiar with Nathan while occasionally glancing at Alyssa to see the girl's expression.

Alyssa tried not to be jealous at the closeness of the two. He felt in his heart that this was just for work. Alyssa turned around to look for Alvin when Rangga was suddenly in front of her.

Alvin who could see the look on Nathan's face was immediately aware of the situation. He immediately got out of his seat and told Alyssa to pick up the food she had cooked in the apartment for Nathan.

“Sa, grab food supplies in the car huh! Here's his car keys” Alvin handed Alyssa his car keys and the girl immediately got out of the break room to the car park.

Nathan still closed his eyes but his ears listened carefully to what Rangga and Alvin would talk about.

“It was aloh, Alyssa!”

“Why with Alyssa?” Alvin looks confused, how can Rangga know the name Alyssa?

“She's the girl I told you about. Which makes me work again!”

The question was the same with Nathan, how could Rangga know Alyssa? He wanted to ask Rangga, but was afraid that Nathan would get angry. So he undoes his intention to ask about it. Now Alvin seems to be able to guess Nathan's annoyance for sure because he already knows first that Rangga likes Alyssa.

“You really like Alyssa?” ask Alvin then.

“Iya! From the first sight I fell in love with her. I didn't know he was Nathan's assistant. If I had known from a long time ago, I would have done it often.”

“He never told you he had a girlfriend?” cut Alvin fast.

“Surely she already has a boyfriend?” Rangga asked in hopes the answer was no.

While Nathan further sharpens his hearing hoping Alvin will say yes.

Alvin didn't respond to him anymore. He already felt stupid for putting out words that even made Rangga even more hopeful for Alyssa. His intention was to help Nathan to keep Rangga away from Alyssa but this was the opposite.

“Awas You Vin!” Nathan was upset at Alvin who had spoken his foolish words.

Meanwhile, Alyssa who was taking food in the car was approached by Nadia. The woman looked at Alyssa's appearance from top to bottom as if mocking that Alyssa was not at her level. Alyssa turned around about to head towards Nathan's resting room, but she saw Nadia already standing in front of her.

“Side, I want to pass!” exclaims cynical Alyssa. He was not afraid of Nadia.

“How arrogant are you! Don't worry now that you're closer to Nathan than I am, you feel most special to Nathan!”.

Alyssa let out a long, deep sigh that she should be patient and not serve this snake woman.

“You should know, I always get what I want! And what I want now is Nathan. Nothing can stop me from getting it including a lowly woman like you. Now you enjoy your last moments with Nathan, for soon he will be mine. You are nothing to me! Your level is way below mine!”

“Udah talk?”

“Hahaha!” Nadia laughed as she stepped forward towards Alyssa. “You have to realize who you really are. You don't deserve to be with Nathan. Don't you see the people out there really want me and Nathan back together? So you better step back slowly than later found out if you are Nathan's partner, maybe his career so ruined!”
