Miss Your Smile

Nathan got up from his sleep on the chair and looked at Alyssa who was standing in front of the door of his room. Alyssa looked towards Nathan as well. He knew that Nathan couldn't sleep crammed into his room because he saw pillows and blankets lying on his chair. Alyssa didn't want to linger looking at Nathan's face. He opens the door to his room but quickly moves Nathan over to Alyssa and holds her arm to prevent Alyssa from entering the room.

“Release!” alyssa said softly as she looked at Nathan's hand holding his arm.

Nathan doesn't let go he's still staring at Alyssa until Alyssa repeats what she said just now then Nathan lets go of her and lets Alyssa into his room. Nathan knows it's not easy to get Alyssa to forgive him so he has to be more patient to get an apology from Alyssa.

This morning bi Lilis had prepared breakfast for everyone staying at her house. They had breakfast together and as before they ate without Alyssa. Alyssa had breakfast first to avoid Nathan and now she was cleaning the food stall before bi Lilis started selling.

Alvin, who was going back to town, approached Alyssa after breakfast. He hasn't spoken to Alyssa since yesterday.

“Alvin, you want to go back now?” alyssa asked as soon as she saw Alvin coming with his bag.

“Iya Sa!”

Alyssa was relieved because this morning Alvin and the others finally came home and that meant Nathan would also come home.

“Alyssa, from yesterday I have not had time to talk to you” said Alvin.

“Iya!” Alyssa smiled at her best friend and invited Alvin to sit on one of the chairs in the food stall bi Lilis.

Alvin followed Alyssa to sit down and put her bag on the side.

“Alyssa, forgive me!”

“Why are you sorry Vin?” Alyssa is confused as to why Alvin apologized to her.

“Because I can't accompany you when you have a problem!”

“You must know the real story, right?” ask Alyssa.

Alvin nodded.

“I beg you not to tell my parents yes. I don't want to disappoint them!”

“Iya! Oh yeah, did you call them? They must be worried because you didn't call them!” Alvin thought Alyssa had never contacted her parents because since she left her cell phone was never active.

“Who said I didn't contact them? Every day I call them!”

“Isn't your phone inactive? Nathan and I had trouble finding you”.

“I told my mom that my phone was broken and I borrowed Bi Lilis' phone to contact them. But it looks like now I will activate my phone because you also already know I am here”.

“Alyssa, I'm sorry I interfered with your problems with Nathan. But don't you want to forgive her?”

“Of course, it's still hard to forgive him. Alvin, Nathan said yesterday he knew I was framed. Who set me up? What is Nadia?” Alyssa remembered Nathan's words yesterday if she had known that everything that happened to Alyssa was due to being framed.

“Why did you know it was Nadia?”

“I was just expecting it. Because before that incident Rere asked me to talk about you!”

“I?” Alvin pointed to himself.

“Yes, I think Rere likes you. I talked to him until I felt very sleepy and remembered nothing else. So I think it must be Nadia's plan to ruin my relationship with Nathan”.

Alyssa silently did not respond to Alvin's remarks. Alyssa thinks for sure now Nadia is thinking that her relationship with Nathan is fine after Nathan knows all of Nadia's plans. But what if Nadia knows the truth if her relationship with Nathan is not good? Is he going to take the chance to get close to Nathan again?

“Alyssa!” call Alvin to break Alyssa's daydream.

Alyssa looked back at Alvin.

“I know what Nathan did hurt you a lot, but try to see his sincerity. Don't you feel that he really regretted his actions?” Alvin tries to convince Alyssa.

“I know he already regrets his actions!”

“If you already know, why don't you forgive him?”

“I want to see how far his business is and also his sincerity!”

“Alright, it's up to you! And one thing you should know, Nathan has succumbed to his ego just for your sake!” said Alvin who now knows if the previous relationship Nathan and his papa a little tenuous.

When Nathan tells him that if he is asked by his father to start studying business in exchange for his father helping him find Alyssa, Alvin is already suspicious of his relationship. How can a Nathan who does not like business at all suddenly obey his papa orders. He then asked Maya secretly how the relationship between Nathan and Rudi. Aunt Maya explains everything to Alvin if it is true as Alvin suspects that their relationship is a little problematic but aunt Maya does not tell the cause. That's what makes Alvin feel if Nathan really sincerely loves Alyssa because he wants to succumb to the wishes of his father for the sake of Alyssa. And that is also what makes Alvin finally willing to join the business of accompanying Nathan to encourage him to fight for his love.

Alvin got up from his seat and took his bag.

“What do you mean?” Alyssa did not understand Alvin's words.

“Later also you know yourself!”

Alvin walked over to Alan and Jason who had put their things in the car. Accompanied by bi Lilis and Nathan they all farewell one by one. Alyssa took Alvin to the car. He sees Alan and Jason already sitting in the front seat while Alvin sits alone in the back seat. Realizing that Nathan is still standing next to Bi Lilis, Alyssa draws herself closer to Alvin, who has yet to close the windshield.

“Why doesn't he come home?” alyssa asked whispering in Alvin's ear.

Alvin knew Alyssa meant Nathan. He smiled at the question of his friend.

“He will stay here to show his effort and sincerity!” alvin replied, whispering in Alyssa's ear.

Hearing Alvin's reply, Alyssa retreated slowly with an annoyed face. But even though he showed a look of annoyance, deep down he actually wanted to see Nathan's sincerity in him.

Nathan, who had been watching Alvin and Alyssa, felt a little jealous when he saw the two whispering. Quickly his fingers sent a message on Alvin's phone.

“What are you talking about? Why whisper?”

Alvin reads the message Nathan sent to his cell phone. Shortly after reading he grinned broadly at Nathan without giving any answer.

“Abibi, we say yes first. Thank you for giving us food and a place to sleep. Sorry if we inconvenienced bi Lilis!” Jason says.

“You guys are not at all a hassle. Even aunts are happy to have you, so it's more crowded. Come by sometime if you happen to pass!” reply bi Lilis kindly.

“Iya bi!” sahut Alan's.

“Oya bi, ship Nathan yes! If he finishes the food, aunty just auction him off to all the mothers here. They must have paid dearly!” kanda Alvin closes the windshield as soon as Nathan wants to hit him.

Bi Lilis laughed and Alyssa was seen smiling slightly with Alvin's words. But Alyssa hastily changed her face back to cold when she saw Nathan looking at her. Alyssa walks first into the house leaving bi Lilis and Nathan still outside seeing the car driving away from the house bi Lilis.

“You smile with Alvin's words, and I'll make you smile again at me. I really miss your smile!” inner Nathan.
