Someone In The Car

Alyssa and bi Lilis start looking for Nathan, they split up. Alyssa looks for Nathan to a place she knows only because Alyssa does not know many places in the village.

“Sorry mom, I want to ask. Did you see Nathan through here?” alyssa asked a mother who passed by in front of her.

“Yes, he ran there after being chased!” the mother replied while pointing towards the direction where Nathan was running.

“Cursued? Who's chasing mom?”

“Hehe.. same mom herself and others. But we did not succeed in chasing because the run was very short!” the mother said hurriedly because Alyssa had already put an annoyed expression on her face.

Without thinking for a long time Alyssa then walked in the direction that the mothers had pointed out. While calling Nathan's name, he looked to the right and to the left. It was getting darker and the village streets were already quite deserted. Only a few people were still visible on the street.

Alyssa was still looking for Nathan and suddenly someone pulled her hand. Alyssa was drawn behind the trees, she wanted to scream but her mouth was covered by the hand of someone pulling her. He looked back to see who it was.

“Nathan!”

“Ssttt!” Nathan put his index finger on the lips to keep Alyssa quiet.

”Nathan, what are you doing here? alyssa said in a very slow voice.

“Hidden!” nathan answered briefly. He raised his head slightly to peek whether anyone saw him or not.

“For what to hide again? All the mothers chasing you have gone home!”

“Iya, I know they're home!”

“If you already know, let's go home now! Bi Lilis is so worried about you!” invite Alyssa who immediately pulled Nathan's hand to come out of hiding.

“Bi Lilis or are you worried about me?” Nathan pulled back Alyssa's hand a little hard and it made the otomastic Alyssa turn towards him and now their distance was very close.

So close to their distance, Alyssa could feel Nathan's breathing. The eyes of the two of them were staring at each other. Alyssa's heart started pounding.

“Why this? Why is my heart like this? Shouldn't I hate him now?” alyssa muttered in her heart.

“Bi Lilis is worried about you and I just helped her to find you!” alyssa said averted her gaze from Nathan's gaze.

Nathan smiled at Alyssa who was being misbehaved. He knew that Alyssa still cared about him even though the girl said otherwise.

“Already, let's go home!” alyssa said again.

“Do not now!”

“Why not now? You want to stay here?” Alyssa was getting upset.

“That's, let's see three teenagers who are there!” Nathan pointed to three teenage girls of Mia's age who were not far from where he was hiding. The three of them were looking for someone and that person was Nathan.

“What happened to them? Are they after you too?”

“Yes, they came after me and were even more savage than the mothers here!”

“What's the big deal?” Alyssa was astonished by the savage name uttered by Nathan.

“Nih, look at my hands full with their claws!” Nathan showed me his arm that had been scratched by the girl's fingernails.

“How did you get their scratches?” Alyssa looked carefully at Nathan's hand that was hit by the scratch.

“I don't know either, it feels like I've been running really fast. But one of them appeared in front of me out of nowhere and pulled my shirt. And be like this, I hit their long nails. Pain!” whining Nathan with a voice made like a child.

Alyssa felt sorry to hear Nathan's story. Eventually he and Nathan waited until the three girls returned home. Sitting together among the lush trees the atmosphere felt very awkward for Alyssa. He tried to convince himself that he should hate Nathan but instead his heart said something else. However he tried to care for Nathan he could not lie. Although the man had done a very bad thing to her but her hatred was still defeated by her affection.

Not much talk happened between the two of them as Alyssa was trying to avoid it. Until they saw the three girls had already walked away from their hiding place, Alyssa and Nathan came out from behind the trees. Very carefully they walked back to the house of bi Lilis. Luckily the village streets that had begun to darken made their faces not look so clear. Along the way Nathan kept walking down the tail behind Alyssa.

Bi Lilis who was already at home walked back and forth in front of the terrace of her house. When he saw Alyssa and Nathan were already walking towards him, he immediately approached them.

“Finally you'll see me too son! Aunt was very worried. Are you okay?” bi Lilis asked as she held onto Nathan's arm and turned her body to the right and left as if checking if Nathan was back in one piece.

“I'm fine bi! Sorry for making auntie worried” replied Nathan.

“Thank God then. Now that we go inside yes, we have dinner with” bi Lilis holding Nathan's hand to get inside the house and Alyssa following behind him.

The three of them had dinner together. Bi Lilis never stopped asking Nathan where he was going. Nathan then told bi Lilis everything from the beginning he was chased by mothers until Alyssa came looking for him. Not to forget he made the story seem so dramatic to get Alyssa's attention. But Alyssa's facial expression was so calm, it showed no interest in Nathan's dramatic story. He continued to eat just like that, making Nathan a little irritated. After the meal Nathan chose to take his first bath, while Alyssa helped bi Lilis to clean the dining table.

The night is getting late, actually Nathan really wants to talk to Alyssa alone. But he felt Alyssa always avoided him. Until Alyssa walks into her room and rests, Nathan doesn't get a chance to talk to her.

“If you can't now, maybe tomorrow I can talk to him!” inner Nathan. He decided to rest in his room.

On a clear morning, the sun had entered through the window of Nathan's room. Closing his eyes, Nathan saw the watch in his hand already showing at seven in the morning. He stretched his muscles a little and then rushed to get up. Out of the room he saw no one in the house. He thought Bi Lilis and Alyssa were opening a food stall but they weren't. Nathan saw Bi Lilis' food stall still closed.

“They both went where?”

Walking back into the house Nathan stopped when he heard the sound of a car stopping right in front of the house bi Lilis. He turned around to see who was coming. The luxury car that Nathan already knew who the owner was parked in the courtyard of Bi Lilis' house. Nathan was still looking towards the car, despite knowing who was inside but he waited until the man got out of the car. The front door of the car opened and someone came out of it, closed the door of the car then the man looked sharply at Nathan.

“Sial, why did he follow me here?”
