Barbecues

Alyssa had finished swimming 30 minutes ago and was still in her room after cleaning herself. He was drying his hair with a hair dryer when the sound of knocking on the door was heard. Alyssa stopped her activities and opened the room door.

Nathan stared at Alyssa for quite a while. She thought of how beautiful Alyssa was with her hair still half wet. The longer he was driven mad by Alyssa when the girl did nothing to him.

“Sa, I forgot to tell you that now we want to freeze” Nathan said then after a long time staring at Alyssa.

“Iya, I already know. Sarah tells me”.

“Ooh. I wait in the backyard ya”.

“Iya, I'll be there” soon.

Nathan would walk into the backyard before he turned around again just as Alyssa was about to close the door.

“Emm... Sa”

“Iya?” alyssa replied, Not closing the door.

“You are beautiful” Nathan said with a sweet smile then walked back to the backyard.

Alyssa blushed in embarrassment, her cheeks blushing red after hearing Nathan complimenting her pretty. He likes Nathan to pay attention to him, but he also fears that Nathan is just playing him and making it as an outlet. He tried as much as possible not to expect Nathan too much so as not to be too hurt if later Nathan just toying with his heart.

At 8pm Nathan, Alyssa and Sarah are already in the backyard for a barbecue party. They're still waiting for Alvin who hasn't seen the trunk of his nose. After waiting for about ten minutes, Alvin came to invite a girl who looks very simple but looks beautiful and calm.

“Sorry long wait. This is Dina!” He introduced the girl he invited to everyone.

“It's nice to meet you all” the girl said with a friendly smile and a little down in embarrassment.

“I'm Alyssa” said Alyssa reached out her hand while smiling at Dina.

“You're Alvin's girlfriend?” nathan asked without being stale which made Dina a little surprised by the question.

“Eh.. emm. We are just friends” replied Dina shyly.

“Good. You have to be careful with Alvin. He's the playboy” Nathan continues.

“Nevent shunned him Din, it's not important” Alvin was a little upset with Nathan then invited Dina and the others to start their barbecue party.

Although a little awkward, but Dina always tried to look comfortable. He and Alyssa were serving meat that had been roasted by Alvin and Nathan. Sarah sat alone and enjoyed her drink.

Dina approached Sarah while carrying the cooked roast and placed it on a table near Sarah.

“Mbak Sarah, this is ripe. Please try mbak”.

“Makasi ya Din” replied Sarah. “Dina, sit here. Temenin I chat for a while” said Sarah while pulling a chair that was nearby.

“Eh, yes mbak. What do you want to chat mbak?”.

“You've known Alvin for a long time?” sarah asked after Dina sat down beside him.

“Ngak. I know a new Alvin mas a few days ago”.

Dina smiled at Sarah's question. “No kok mbak. I'm the same Alvin just memanan aja mbak. I have no more feelings for Alvin. Bener-bener just menja kok mbak”.

“Keep that Alvin likes you how?” ask Sarah again. I don't know why there's such a curiosity in Sarah.

“Yes it is impossible to. I also realized myself mbak, I do not pantes the same mas Alvin” replied Dina while laughing.

“Ehm..” Alvin cleared his throat making the two chatting people turn to him. “You guys said what the hell?” tanyakanya.

“But kepo!” answer Sarah ketus.

“Idihh, who is the same you” reply Alvin.

“We only talk about women's problems kok mas” replied Dina.

“Let's eat!” nathan exclaimed after all the meat was done roasting.

The five of them enjoyed the show that night. Although Dina only knew them but she could feel them all good people. Dina initially thought that Nathan and Sarah were arrogant because they were artists and did not expect that they could accept her presence there. They treated Dina like an old friend, making Dina's awkwardness slowly disappear.

It was almost midnight when Alvin arrived at the villa after driving Dina home. Everyone was asleep, he thought as he looked at the deserted state of the villa. Alvin walked towards his room, but he stopped for a moment because he saw Sarah's door slightly open with the light still on. He peeked a little, but he saw Sarah was not in his room. He slowly enters Sarah's room.

“Sarah? You in the bathroom?” Alvin put his ear to the bathroom door, but he didn't hear any sound from inside. He opened the bathroom door which was unlocked. The bathroom was empty, and Sarah was not there.

“Tuh people where the hell has been this malem also” Alvin began to worry a little. He picks up his phone to call Sarah but sees Sarah's phone on the table. He immediately came out of Sarah's room and began to look for Sarah in all the rooms in the villa. But nil, he didn't find Sarah anywhere.

Alvin rushes out, thinking maybe Sarah can't sleep and walks in the yard. And it turned out to be true, Alvin saw Sarah by the pool still carrying a bottle of drink in her hand. He approached Sarah and realized that the girl was drunk.

“Come in! It's night” invites Alvin and he grabs Sarah's hand to pull her inside.

Sarah refuses, he throws Alvin's hand and continues drinking. Alvin forcibly snatched the drink from Sarah's hands. Although Alvin hates Sarah, he actually cares about Sarah. He doesn't like to see Sarah drunk. Alvin pulls Sarah by force and asks her inside. Sarah who was very drunk looks resigned pulled by Alvin.

“Lifting now you sleep, don't come out again!” Alvin.

Sarah who was sitting on the edge of the bed smiled at Alvin who made Alvin realize that Sarah is very sweet when smiling.

“Yes, you rest. I went back to the room” Alvin was about to turn around but Sarah pulled her hand suddenly which made Alvin fall down and put down Sarah's body.

“Where are you going Vin? Temenin I drink. I'm lonely” said Sarah then put her hand on Alvin's neck.

Alvin tries to break away, but Sarah's face that is very close to him makes him not really try to break away again. Alvin put a blanket on Sarah and peeked at Sarah's forehead before leaving the girl's room.

Alvin's mind was fucked up. He asked himself, how could he have done that with Sarah. He hates Sarah so much, but why is he so quick to be tempted by Sarah? What will Sarah think tomorrow when she is conscious of her drunkenness? He must have thought that Alvin was deliberately using his drunken condition to find an opportunity. Alvin was dizzy thinking about his stupid actions earlier. It was hard for Alvin to fall asleep that night with so many thoughts milling around in his head.
