The world is unfair to some people. And so did Anjani. Although simple, in fact he just wants to live quietly like life around him. A pretty simple dream for an Anjani.
Although reluctant to go home, but because that was the only place for him to go home, inevitably bring himself to step into the house for him a hell.
"Where have you just come home from?" In a sarcastic tone he asked his son who had just returned to school.
It is very common for an Anjani to hear a cold and harsh tone coming out of his mother's mouth.
"I have an extra class." He answered without glancing at Mother who was sitting in the middle room.
"Every day there's an extra class, do you have another race?"
"Yes." Yeah."
"Good, at least there's something to be proud of a child like you, it's not in vain that I raise you."
Anjani ignored her mother's words and went into her room.
"Same, father's son is equally bad." He muttered to see the cold behavior of his son who seemed to ignore his words.
......................
In a family that is not friendly to him, does not make him give up his life, at least his achievements in school is a picture for him to survive and provide a ray of hope for his life.
There was a bit of happiness in the middle of that void of his life. After almost a month of preparation for his IPA Olympics with Rama. The exhausting day was in fact compared to the best outcome for them.
Thanks to the achievements of both who managed to achieve the championship, making them get a scholarship prize.
A full scholarship to get into the best college in the country.
"Well, win again! Congratulations to you!" A tinge of happiness emanated from Johan to his best friend Rama.
Rama replied with just a smile.
The news of Rama and Anjani's victory has entered the ears of all the students in the school, making a furore and appreciation for both.
Although he also received congratulations, but the atmosphere was not as warm and cheerful as people who congratulated and gathered in front of Rama, because all seemed awkward when facing and talking Anjani.
He immediately moved away from the crowd, to attract the view of a Rama who had earlier in the crowd of his friends.
From his expression, it was seen once to call his name, but was held back because there was doubt in him that remembered the relationship between the two who were not close. He was pensive and recalled the events after the race.
"Aren't you pa-pa?" Anjani asked to see Rama who was accidentally hit by the door when he was about to get out of the race room.
"Ah, yes. It's just a little painful." Reply while holding the corner of his forehead that feels pain.
"Try sitting down." Pinta Anjani to have Rama sit on one of the benches.
Without rejection, he immediately sat down while continuing to hold his forehead even with a somewhat confused expression. However, he was a little surprised when Anjani suddenly approached towards his face.
"W-why?" He said in a stammering tone as he was somewhat surprised to see Anjani suddenly approaching towards him.
"I want to put some plaster." Anjani answered flatly while holding a plaster in her hand.
"Ah.. ok" answered Rama rather awkwardly.
The faces of the two are close to each other, until they feel the roar of their breath. Rama, only fell silent when Anjani's hand began to attach the plaster to the corner of her forehead. He felt awkward to look into her eyes and calmed his heart several times.
"Here you go, let's go out." Said Anjani then, with her flat expression without feeling awkward and passing by.
With Anjani away from his face, relieve the heart of Rama who had felt awkward. He tried several times to calm his heart which had not stopped beating.
"I why?" He muttered while holding his chest.
Rama who remembered the incident did not stop thinking about the incident. Repeatedly he tried to ignore it but the shadow of the incident made him think back.
From there he often noticed Anjani. From a mere curiosity and want to be close, to want to know more.
