Gone off?

Gone off?
CHAPTER 45 (Trace)

Inside an apartment, a woman was standing staring at her bedroom window, her expression serious as she stared at the window. His sharp gaze seemed to pierce through the thick glass of his window. What he thought he had to make such a serious expression.

"I've prepared dinner for you, let's eat, ma'am."

Looking at the source of the voice, he momentarily stared at the person who called him.

"Lea, it looks like we have to speed up our return to America." Said later.

"Eh.. "

Hearing this all of a sudden, of course, made Lea shocked.

"It's still 4 months away, ma'am."

"I know, but I'm changing my mind now."

"What about the company here?"

"I'm going to leave it entirely to Lyla, she's been handling it all this time."

Lea thought a little about the change in attitude from Anjani, because after returning from the hospital, Anjani was seen to reflect a lot. Though he came here not only to witness the launch of his latest product, but also to make peace with his past.

It hasn't even been a month since Anjani came here, what made him change his mind. Yet he had made such a decision for a long time with all his determination.

"Are you sure about that? it's not that mom came here not just for the company!."

Anjani fell silent as if confirming Lea's words.

"Let's go. I think it'd be better to get out of here." He said, then walked towards Leah.

"Let's eat." Take it later and walk out of the room.

Lea looked at Anjani's back with a confused and questionable expression.

Although many things he wanted to know and ask about the change of Anjani's decision, but he did not do given Anjani's expression that looks not good to ask.

Lea thought of one thing, about the doctor who met with Anjani before, maybe after meeting the doctor, making Anjani so much contemplation.

"You said you grew up in an orphanage, right?" Said Anjani in the middle of their dinner.

"Yes right, I grew up in an orphanage."

"Aren't you going to go there again?"

"I think about it, but I still don't know when, maybe I'll try to take the time to come there."

"There's a town in Bandung, and the name of the foster home is Pertiwi."

"Then we go there tomorrow."

"Eh.. "

"Why? you don't want to come there?"

"No, I mean that.. Will you come too?"

"Eum.."

"But you just got out of the hospital?"

"I'm not pa-pa, so tomorrow we'll come to your orphanage. I want to know where you're from, too."

"Okay, thank you." Lea said with a feeling of pleasure.

...----------------...

Yesterday, three o'clock in the afternoon. The day before Anjani was discharged from the hospital.

"Doctor Dana can't attend, but he says congratulations because you've been discharged from the hospital." Sister Anna.

"Ah, and he left this parcel to me to give it to you. He said it should be opened when it reaches home." Says Sister Anna gave a parcel to Anjani.

Anjani stared at the parcel with a flat look. He accepted it, though somewhat confused by the parcel he received suddenly from Doctor Wardana.

And upon arrival at the apartment, he immediately opened the parcel, which was in the form of an agenda book containing a photo of his high school graduation, which he just left at school.

Anjani stares confusedly at the agenda book, and more puzzling is that it was Wardana's doctor who gave her this.

Open sheet by page containing a photo of his adopted alumni, to one thing that attracts his attention, and make himself fixated on it.

He stayed silent long enough to look at it.

His picture with Rama during the IPA Olympics was on one of those agendas, as well as a photo of him receiving a scholarship after winning the Olympics.

It made her feel nostalgic for school. Even so, none of the things made him feel happy, in addition to because no one he knew even though they were his old friends. However, it also makes him remember his bad past that happened on his graduation day.

Anjani stared coldly at it, he also did not understand the attitude of Doctor Wardana who gave this to him.
