Genius Children - The Heirs
75. So Fragile

Liana's eyes were closed, while her hands were handcuffed. He was forced to follow the orders of the person who kept pushing him from behind.

“Come go!”

Liana's body staggered a few steps forward before being taken up into the car.

After traveling for a few hours. The car that was carrying him stopped.

Fear was evident in Liana's eyes.

“Down!”

“What do you want to do?”

Liana was pushed out of the car. Liana could not see the road, as a result of which even she tripped.

The black cloth that covered his eyes came off after he stopped.

It took a while for him to adjust the lighting.

Liana narrowed her eyes before getting used to the ambient light.

Liana caught the figure of the little man there as well as a few bodyguards.

“Damian.”

Liana was stunned and subconsciously, her feet stepped forward to hug her son.

“Do not move.”

Liana instantly did not move and at that moment, she saw Gideon. The man was watching her.

“Let's start.”

With Gideon's men escorting Damian, Damian walks along with Liana.

Liana was surprised to see her son being escorted.

His surprise grew, as he was pushed towards Gideon.

Liana shook her head and wanted to say something but because her mouth was gagged. He can't make his voice.

Liana mutters and tries to reach Damian but Kevin's bodyguards hit her neck hard.

Liana lost her vision and lost her consciousness. His body went limp and fell into Gideon's arms.

...♡♡♡...

Currently, Liana was in the hospital. He lay weakly on the bed in pain with the drip hanging in his hand.

No matter how long. Liana's eyelashes started to flutter weakly.

Liana woke up from her nightmare in shock. He sat suddenly out of bed.

Liana's eyes watched the surroundings in confusion.

“You're up?”

Liana immediately turned her head and got the Gideon that had just come. The man approached her.

Liana immediately grabbed his hand.

“Damian, where is he?”

Gideon looked at Liana calmly.

“My jawab! Where is she?” liana asked in panic.

“Rest now.”

“I asked, where is Damian?”

Liana's eyes turned red and she asked in annoyance. While Gideon frowned silently.

“Where is he? Did you really let her be exchanged for me as a hostage?”

“Ya,” reply Gideon quietly.

“Short of you, Gideon,” he said vibrating. “Gideon, how can you be so heartless? Why would you send a seven-year-old child in such a place? Don't you know how horrible it is?”

Liana was so angry.

Gideon barely dared to blink as he heard the accusatory pitched question.

Gideon looked at him and replied in a deep tone. “I know.”

“You know? If you know, why are you doing it? Have you gone crazy?”

Liana's voice was not friendly. He's very angry. Liana grabbed the pillow behind her and threw it at Gideon.

“How can you do that? I hate you.”

“Liana..”.

Gideon moved to look at Liana. He was surprised by the words that came out of Liana's mouth. Gideon felt his head had just been hit with a hard iron.

Liana knew her words had gone too far but she had no way to retract her words.

Suddenly Liana fell silent. Liana lowered her head, her hands clenched at the end of the bedsheet. Her tears fell down profusely.

Blasphemy, guilt, fear and heartache. All emotions flooded him like a tsunami wave.

A nurse came to his ward with medicine in his hand. The nurse was surprised to see the bedsheets that were exposed to blood.

Liana's infusion needle slipped and caused her blood to come out.

Liana avoided it when the nurse approached, refusing to let the nurse touch her.

“Go,” says Gideon.

“But..”.

Gideon calmly confirmed. “Go.”

The nurse left the room before leaving and handed her gauze and plaster.

Gideon grabbed Liana's hand. Liana continued to reject him and avoid him.

“Do not be stubborn.”

Gideon gently rubbed the blood on liana's palm until it was clean and gave the gauze and then pressed it.

“If I could, I would use my life to trade yours. I'll never let them get involved.”

Gideon's hand wrapped his wound. When he finished, Gideon stood up and turned to leave.

Feeling agitated, Liana stretched out her hand and wrapped her hand around her waist.

Gideon froze in his steps.

“Do not go. Gideon, don't go."

Gideon turned and sat down. “They'll be fine. As long as there is me, I will not let them harm him.”

Gideon hugged her tightly. Liana buried her face into Gideon's chest.

The woman was silent in Gideon's arms.

Liana looked at Gideon with her electrifying plain brown eyes. Those eyes radiated doubt, hope and fear that the woman could not hide.

Liana is so fragile.

“Do not fear.”

With his head bowed, Gideon buried a kiss on Liana's forehead.

Suddenly, there was the sound of footsteps approaching from outside and the door opened from outside.

Liana looked up and saw Simon coming in with the help of a nurse.

Simon stood beside the bed and looked towards Liana.

The truth about Ruona and Liana's identity surprises him when Simon first finds out.

Simon does not believe that Simon trusts the impostor as his grandson.

The woman he hated most was actually the granddaughter of his best friend. Son of his son's friend.

The truth gave him a big blow.

At the sight of Simon, Liana immediately shuffled in Gideon's arms. The woman looked scared.

“Your name is Liana, right? Grandpa's been looking for you everywhere all this time. I don't think that—“

Liana's face was pale and increasingly tightly hugged Gideon.

"Grandfather, go back to your ward now. Liana is in a bad mood. We'll talk about this after, she feels better.”

“Alright, alright. Gideon take care of Liana."

Simon groaned inwardly before reluctantly leaving with the help of a nurse while looking at him.

Simon shed tears as he stepped out of the ward. Those tears are the water of regret.

Back to Liana. The woman tightly gripped her blanket. No matter how he held back it was clear that he could not calm down.

Sitting on the bed, Gideon's heart ached when he saw Liana trembling with anxiety and fear.

Gideon lay down next to him and hugged him. Liana also hugged him.

“Sick,” said Liana weakly.

“Where does it hurt?” ask Gideon.

Liana directly pointed at his chest. "Here.”
