43. Suah's boyfriend

Damian and Daniel finally got home. Damian entered his room. The boy also locked his room from the inside.

Daniel, who saw Damian shrug his shoulders, searches for his father to return the card.

Meanwhile, Damian who was in his room immediately ran towards his computer. Damian pursed his lips and narrowed his eyes before pressing the power button.

Damian pressed his email. He typed in there.

Geck. Geck. Geck. A knocking sound was heard after Damian managed to send an email.

“Who?”

“It's me,” replied Daniel. “Let me in,” added Daniel.

“I don't like to be bullied while I study.”

Damian's mouth feels dry. He held her red cheek. Even though he had already smeared it with cream to disguise his marks. But the former slap can still be seen when viewed up close.

“Let me in. I'm worried about you.”

Damian was silent for a few seconds but in the end he ignored Daniel's call and continued typing.

While Daniel who is still outside still does not want to give up. He still faithfully knocks on the door while nagging.

“If you do not open the door. I'll tell mom. I count to three. One, two, ti...”.

Before the count of three, Damian unhappily opened the door of his room.

“Daniel, I'll hit you if you complain to mom.”

Daniel immediately went into Damian's room. “Yes, it depends on your behavior to me.”

Damian narrowed his eyes and his eyes fell on the object Daniel was holding.

“What did you do with that thing?”

Daniel immediately pulled Damian's hand and pushed him into the chair. He deftly and carefully wiped Damian's cheeks with a cold wet towel.

“Of course this is for you. Swollen face. That must have hurt?”

Damian watched Daniel wipe his face carefully. The surprise was definitely imprinted on Damian's face.

He pursed his lips to endure the pain.

“It doesn't hurt at all.”

“You said it didn't hurt? How could your face not hurt? It's already swollen and it's red.”

“Do not tell mom.”

“Why?”

“I said don't ya don't.”

Daniel nodded and promised.

“I also get hurt often.”

“Why? You get slapped often?”

“I was injured because I fell down a lot. From childhood I trained in military camp.”

“Why?”

“Because dad wanted me to be trained to be strong and later if I grow up I can protect the people I love. When I was doing the exercises I was bitten by a snake.”

“It sure hurts.”

“Of course it hurts a lot. I can't even cry.”

“Why?”

“Because I passed out so I didn't have time to cry."

When the sun is perfect. Gideon received a call and left. Liana took Daniel to take a bath. Liana also invites Damian but the boy chooses to bathe himself.

After shower with lightning. Damian is busy with his computer again. He opened the email and got a reply.

The next morning, Liana went to the super market to buy some vegetables, fruits and also some household supplies.

When Liana was done with the shopping. Suddenly he gets a call from Suah. They promised to meet at a cafe.

Liana then went to the cafe they had agreed to. Liana arrived at the cafe early and sat down at the table by the window.

He ordered matcha farappucino and leaned comfortably on the chair while waiting for Suah.

A slight warm glint of sunlight enveloped his body. The weather today is so sunny.

The warm sunlight from the window shone on Liana's face and made her look even more beautiful and shiny.

“Liana.”

“Sorry I came late because I was stuck in traffic. You must have been waiting for me for a long time?”

“It's okay,” said Liana then she saw a foreign man standing next to Suah.

Suah followed Liana's gaze to the man beside her and quickly hooked his arm to the man.

“Liana, she's my girlfriend. We've been dating for a week. I hope you don't mind me bringing my girlfriend.”.

Liana dazed for a moment but she quickly smiled. “Not at all.”

The man stepped forward and extended his hand to Liana.

“Hello I'm Jinan, Suah's boyfriend. Suah often told me a lot about you.”

Liana felt Jinan's gaze was uncomfortable and she immediately pulled her hand but the man's hand tightened in her hand. Feeling awkward, Liana jerked her hand.

“Liana I'm sorry for yesterday's incident. Because of me you got stuck in the elevator yesterday.”

“It's okay. Anyway it's over and I'm fine.”

They chatted briefly about each other's activities and about Suah and Jinan's relationship.

Apparently Jinan was the head of the administrative department. Suah was amazed at Jinan who according to him as a polite man, handsome and intelligent.

“Liana, I feel that I was the happiest woman in the world when I met Jinan,”.

“I'm happy if you're happy.”

Suah then issued an invitation and handed it to Liana.

“What is this?” ask Liana.

“Today I met with Lili. He's gonna have a class reunion. She wanted to give it to you but she didn't know your house and your number so she asked me to bring her invitation. Are you going?”

Liana put the invitation to the table with no interest to open it.

“I don't want to go.”

“I too. Reunion events are just a mode to show off wealth, girlfriends and work. That's very boring. But the class president used to be going overseas so he hopes everyone takes part in this reunion.”

“Liana, do you want to come?” ask Jinan.

“Let's go, I'll accompany Suah tomorrow.”

“What?”

Suah was surprised because he had invited Jinan but the man could not go and said he had an important meeting. And now Jinan has offered to leave.

Of course Suah was very enthusiastic and happy.

“Liana, let's go. Who would dare to humiliate you now? Moreover, you have ahem. You need not be afraid. Let's go together.”

“Ya, let's go together.” Jinan exclaims.

Liana just smiled and allowed to go to the bathroom. While Jinan drank a sip of coffee before bailing to the bathroom as well.

When Liana came out of the bathroom, she was startled by Jinan standing outside. Liana looked at Jinan and she retreated slightly keeping her distance from him.

“Why are you here?”

Jinan smiled then said, “Liana is a beautiful name. As beautiful as the person.”

Liana frowned because she felt Jinan was very strange. During the conversation, this man kept wanting to chat with her instead of directing the topic at his girlfriend.

“I'll be back soon. Suah must have waited a long time.”

As Liana passed through Jinan, her hand was pulled and slammed towards the wall. Jinan squeezed him between his body and the wall.

“What do you do?”

“You asked what I did? What do you think I'm gonna do?”

“I am being polite to you because you are Suah's boyfriend. If you behave like this I will make Suah stay away from you.”

Jinan smirked. “Attracting.”

The man lowered his head and leaning against his neck inhaled his scent.

“Enyah from me.”

As if I didn't hear it. Jinan launched the action. Liana couldn't take it anymore. He gathered all his strength.

Pushing Jinan and slapping him.

“Seeing your polite look, I did not expect that you would become an immoral man.”

Jinan involuntarily touched her cheek. Her cheeks were hot and painful but she laughed despite the sting.

Jinan pulled Liana's wrist back. At that moment appeared a girl.

“What do you guys do?”
