14. Punishment

When Kingston came. Everyone was hysterically screaming. All eyes were fixed on him and instantly fixed on the figure of the woman standing beside him.

They both look good.

Liana took a deep breath as she entered the venue.

“Are you nervous?”

“Ya.”

Kingston extended his hand. Liana timidly smiled and placed her hand on Kingston's palm.

“Don't be nervous and just enjoy the show.”

A friend came to Kingston.

“King, is he your partner? she's the woman in the magazine, right?”

Kingston smiled and looked at Liana.

“Halo, I'm Liana. I'm King.”'s assistant

Kingston directly knitted his brows and looked at Liana. Similarly to Liana, he looked at Kingston with a smile.

A few minutes later Gideon got out of his car. He was so cold and ignored Ruona.

Runna got out of the car with Daniel. Feeling disregarded, Ruona was really annoyed.

“Taste annoyed?” ask Gideon.

Runna remained silent. He really swallowed his complaint.

“You better remember your identity.”

“My identity? My identity is your fiancee and your future wife.”

“Truly bad. If you want to keep your reputation, disappear from my sight.”

Ruona. “Why are you acting cold on my sword?”

“Then you want me to behave like what?”

Gideon's face was completely cold to the point that Ruona was scared and her hands were trembling as she held Daniel's hand.

“I've never seen a father like this. Previously dad would hide it in front of me but this time, he completely lost control.” Daniel murmured.

Ruona's eyes were glazed over. “You're so soft on me so tonight.”.

“Stop your bullshit! Our relationship is fake so don't take your role seriously.”

Ruona was struck by lightning.

Gideon immediately turned his head to the side and looked at the nanny. “Bring Daniel to the top.”

“Good.”

The nanny takes Daniel upstairs and Gideon catches up with her while Ruona is ignored.

Ruona could not hold back her tears as she stared at the back of Gideon who had left her.

Liana walks alone in the party while Kingston greets each other with his co-workers. Liana was too tired to follow Kingston so she slipped away without anyone knowing and ended up at the banquet table.

“Ah.”

Someone lost their balance and a glass containing drinks spilled on Liana's clothes.

“I'm sorry. I accidentally spilled it.”

Liana lowered her head and tried to remove the stain. He then looked up and smiled.

“It's okay.”

“Liana what's wrong?”

The figure of Kingston came suddenly. Kingston's eyes fell on the stain printed on Liana's dress. He immediately took off his suit and put it on Liana's shoulder.

“I'm sorry. I can't protect you very well. I should have been with you.”

“King, it's okay. He just accidentally spilled his drink.”

Liana then looked at the woman earlier. “I'm fine. You can go.”

Kingston gently hugged her and patted her on the shoulder. “I won't leave you.”

“Honey, I can't be your good partner tonight.”

“Can you take me home.

When they were about to leave a waiter came to give the facilities of a VVIP dressing room.

Liana followed the maid into a long and luxurious corridor. Liana could not hide her amazement.

Suddenly, cold hands closed their eyes. He was so panicked and struggled to let go.

He knocks and screams for help. Then his lips were mercilessly blocked. The man hugged her tightly. He aggressively devoured it.

Liana felt so red that she tried to let go. As Liana looked up she could see beautiful eyes.

“Gideon.”

Liana wanted to leave but her arms wrapped around her waist tightly.

“What do you want to do? Let go of me.”

“What are you hiding from me?”

“I'm not hiding anything from you. So let go of me.”

The blood of life flows through Liana's heart. For a moment he closed his eyes to fight the dizziness that attacked him.

Especially when he saw Gideon pull out his phone and showed Damian a photo. He became confused and as if someone was strangling him.

“You're pregnant with twins. But doctors said only one of the survivors brought Cross a healthy one because doctors said one of them had died. However..”

Gideon deliberately did not continue his words. He wanted to see the reaction from Liana. Gideon watched Liana attentively.

Liana looked at him in disbelief. He could not believe that Gideon would just agree.

“But..” sentence Gideon hanging. The man looked at Liana so deeply.

“You don't understand man.” Gideon looked at Liana

grinningly. “If you don't want to be my woman, the door is right there.”

“You let me go?” Liana asked in surprise.

“I'm not locking you up.”

Liana fell silent then straightened her waiting. “Tonight, I assume nothing happened.”

Liana turned around. He left Gideon Cross.

“After you go through that door, I'll make sure my lawyer sends you a letter tomorrow.”

Liana's steps suddenly stopped. He stood there stiffly. Liana turned around and looked at him.

“You.” Liana watched Gideon in annoyance.

“As long as I want it, I can get it.” Gideon said with narrowed eyes.

“What do you want exactly?”

“From, approach.”

The atmosphere is broken by an overflow of emotions and anticipation. If Liana remembers it. Liana swore she would never come closer to Gideon

Liana took a deep breath. Every step feels heavy.

“Close.” Gideon said again but in a cold tone with a hint of displeasure.

A sudden attack came from the man's side. All Liana could remember was that she was already in a warm and strong embrace.

Liana struggled to escape.

“Gideon release me.”

“You stole my son and deceived me for years. How can I let you go?”

“I'll give you a hundred million but not now. I'll work hard to get that money.

Gideon looked as if he was thinking then he looked at Liana with his scorn. “Do you want to know?”

“Gideon.”

Liana silently gritted her teeth.

“Actually my grandfather is investigating Damian. You know my grandfather's nature, right? If he knows the truth. He will take her by force. The only one who can prevent it is me.”

Liana completely surrendered to Gideon. He stared blankly at Gideon.

“Make me happy.”

Liana bit her lips and tried to calm herself down. Trembling and stiff, he placed his hand on Gideon's shoulder.

Liana nodded.

Liana jumped up as her******* lips pressed down hard and Liana counterbalanced the attack with anger. He clasped the man's back while Gideon grabbed him with his arm as hard as steel.

I don't know when that kiss changed Liana's attitude nobody knows. But for no apparent reason, the kiss was no longer a punishing tool but rather a pleasure. Liana opened her lips to welcome Gideon and, sensing the reception of the invasion, became a sweet exploration.

Liana's sanity is completely gone. They sipped and gripped each other.

Hearing Kingston's sudden voice. Liana immediately distanced herself. His chest rose and fell trying to fill his lungs that were running out of oxygen.

Liana looked towards the door.

“Liana, are you there?”

“King.”

Gideon's face turned cold.

Liana immediately moved away from Gideon and ran towards the door.

Liana stared coldly, her voice filled with gloom. The room turned extremely cold as if the room was being piled up by an iceberg.

Liana is deaf. He tried to open the door knob. Gideon who saw her immediately walked over quickly and hugged Liana's waist and led her away from the door.

“Gideon, release me.”

“Do you want him to see you look like this now?” Gideon looked at him sharply. His eyes burned with anger.

“If you want it. I will gladly open the door.”

“Do not!”

“I told you I wanted you. I don't accept rejection.”

After saying those words, Gideon pushed her onto the bed and covered her with his body.

Kingston kept looking for Liana because she never came back. Worry enveloped his heart. He stood in front of the door. His eyes became colder. He wanted to break down that door.

Somehow she was sure that Liana was there. Suddenly he lost his courage.

“Did Liana really like Gideon? Why am I so worried about him? Do I like it? She's not even my girlfriend, why should I bother protecting her?”

Kingston's mind suddenly became chaotic. He felt his head split in two.

He had no idea how long he had been standing there and wished for something to happen there.

“Sial.”

Kingston tried to break the door down several times. He faintly heard footsteps approaching the door.

“King, what are you doing here?”

“You alone?”

“Presdir Gideon ordered me to bring a dress for a woman who is with—“

“What is Liana?”

“I taste—“

“Shut!”

Kingston immediately recovered his mind and looked towards the door ferociously. Then suddenly the door opened and showed the face of Gideon Cross.

Kingston immediately stepped quickly in front of Gideon then he grabbed his tie.

“What did you do to him?”

Both of them exuded dangerous auras.
