Genius Children - The Heirs

Genius Children - The Heirs
33. Like Son Like Father's

Liana's hand stretched out to caress Gideon's head. Gideon could say nothing more. He could only look at Liana with affection.

“Sorry, forgive me for doubting you.” Liana Lirih.

Gideon took Liana's hand to grasp gently.

“I'm also sorry for being late to realize your wish.”

Liana shook her head. Gideon who saw that instantly pulled Liana into his arms. Liana smiled happily in Gideon's warm embrace. He also returned Gideon's embrace.

In Gideon's arms, Liana swallowed her own saliva. He hesitated to ask.

“Gideon.”

“I want to ask.”

“No.”

“Gideon!” Liana took off Gideon's embrace by force.”

“Hey, okay. Ask what you want to ask.”

“Do you know about my identity?”

“Of course, I know since seven years ago.”

“How can it?” liana asked in surprise.

“Tests DNA. When you become a surrogate mother, do not you do a series of tests. From there I knew it. You are the one my grandfather should have been looking for.”

“How about it's a coincidence?”

“You are very similar.”

Liana lowered her head sadly. “I've even forgotten my mother's face.”

Gideon lowered his head to look at Liana.

“Ruona stole my mother's gift necklace. He took my identity and confessed to Gideon's family and I just found out. But why didn't you say anything when you found out earlier?”

“Is this important? Who is Ruona in my life? Her real or fake identity is affected me.”

Liana hissing, “Why not important? If destiny doesn't play us. We'll be fiancee early.”

Gideon smiled hearing this. Because Gideon as a young man hated forced engagements.

“Gideon.”

“Hm.”

“I found out Ruona was barren but she was pregnant. Was the diagnosis because of you?”

“Yes. I have someone to fake the diagnosis.”

“Why did you do it?” liana asked confusedly.

Gideon's eyes flashed a cold light. “He is a pawn. He must obey his master and play his role.”

“Ran? You mean what?”

“At that time my grandfather told me to get engaged to him in order to inherit the top pyramid of the Cross family. Since my father died the highest seat of the Cross family was empty and I was the only person who was most fit to occupy it but at that time I was young.”

Gideon paused for a moment as if making sure that Liana understood his point. “Of course for the other brothers I am a thorn in their flesh. Therefore I use marriage as a bargain.”

“Ruona must be very sad. He loves you so much.”

“She is not worthy of pity.” Gideon Protest.

“Ruona is currently pregnant. Whose son is it?”

“Which is definitely not my son.”

“Gideon, I want to know whose child is in Ruona's womb?”

“Is it important?”

“I just want to know.”

“Johan, she is my assistant.”

“Johan?”

“Yes, you've never met him.”

The long-forgotten shadows returned to his mind.

“I've seen it.”

“When?”

“A few days ago while on the way.”

“What did he say?”

“At that time Ruona was with him and at that time Ruona said that she was pregnant with your child.”

Gideon immediately stroked Liana's cheek and she stared at Liana seductively. “So you're jealous.”

Liana snorted weakly. “No.”

“You were jealous so you listed me in blacklist.”

“No!” Liana sank her head into Gideon's chest.

“Obviously you're jealous.”

“I said no.”

“Alright you are not jealous then,” said Gideon while chuckling.

The arrogant creature is Gideon. A truly childish adult man. A man who is sure of himself.

Liana looked at Gideon's face and laughed.

“What are you laughing at?”

“Hei it doesn't count. My woman is you are not her. You are mine. All I protect is you.”

“Are you trying to protect me when you found out your identity early but you didn't bring me into the Cross family?”

Gideon hugged Liana tightly and his possessive side began to take hold of her.

“I have a reason for that. And I'm not taking you into the Cross family when things aren't stable. I'll protect you and Damian.”

Liana slightly untied her embrace. He lifted his head to look at her.

“Suddenly I want to see Damian.”

Gideon smiled.

When Liana would open the door of her room. Suddenly he stopped in his tracks and turned to look at Gideon.

“Gideon, can you invite Daniel to stay here?”

“Of course.”

“Thank you. I love you,” Liana said hurriedly while Gideon seemed to lose his mind when he heard the confession of love from Liana.

.........

Slowly Liana headed to Damian's room. But he slightly frowned as Damian's door opened slightly and the light was still on.

He stopped in his tracks to look at the wall clock. Time has shown at one in the morning but it looks like Damian is still awake.

“What's up?” gideon asked as the man's body was already aligned with Liana's.

Liana did not answer her question. He just looked at the man and slowly opened the door of Damian's room.

While Damian who was in his room was still unaware of the whereabouts of Liana and Gideon.

The little boy was still busy with his computer screen and busy typing keys that were on the keyboard board. Damian was completely immersed in his world.

Within the screen suddenly appeared the emblem of a company and a smile rose on Damian's handsome face.

In the corner of the screen was a small screen that showed a man and it was Anji.

“Yeah, director! How can you break into their defenses in one click?” Anji really does not believe in the genius that Damian has.

“They dare to block my route means they are looking for death.”

On the screen Anji suddenly fell silent and Damian began to feel the change of atmosphere. Damian turned his chair.

“Bu..”.

Damian was so shocked that his heart stopped beating. Damian reflexively got off his chair. He looked at Liana's eyes and immediately hurriedly turned off his computer screen.

The little boy was frightened but the next second he instantly changed his facial expression.

“Mother, what are you doing here?”

“Should have been, mother asked. What are you doing so you haven't slept this late?”

Damian immediately swallowed his saliva. “I didn't do anything.”

Damian saw his mother and accidentally met his eyes with his father.

“I know what you're doing,” Gideon said without a sound.

“I heard you—“

“Bu, I just played a game. The pubg war game. Yes, I'm strategizing.”

Damian looked straight at Liana and then at Gideon.

“Really?”

“Do you not believe in Damian?”

Liana sighed. “It's Damian's night, you should know the limits to play the game. Is it always this late to play games?”

“No ma'am! It's the first time and Damian's sorry. Sorry mom, next time—“

“Nothing next time,” reprimand Liana.

Damian lowered his head as if sorry.

“Capit clean your desk and go to bed,” Liana said as she rubbed Damian's head before leaving.

In that room, only Gideon and Damian remained. The father and son exchanged looks.

The man lowered his head to look at his son.

“You're lying to your own mother.”

“I'm not lying. I'm playing a game.”

“I really noticed you. Maybe your mother was stupid and believed in you just like that but I'm not.”

“My book is not stupid!”

Gideon immediately grinned. “Good. Can you call me dad. I've never heard you call me dad.”

“No.”

Gideon shook his head, “Very stubborn. If you don't want to. I'll tell your mother that her son is the boss of the owner of a famous company.”

Both Damian's eyebrows furrowed. He thought about it carefully.

“Are you threatening me?”

“Do you want to try? Just guess. What happens if your mother finds out that you are dealing with firearms and smuggling illegal goods?”

Damian looks gawking.

“How do you know? How far do you know about me?”

“I won't tell you.”

“You seem to know a lot.”
