68. Exchange Identities

“She was my mother who gave birth and raised me regardless she had already broken her contract. Grandpa, you can't hold it.”

Simon Cross was stunned.

“I call you grandfather because I respect my father. But I also have my own limits. If grandfather breaks my boundaries too, I can also make you regret.”

“Are you trying to threaten me?”

Daniel glanced at his grandfather's cold expression. The two stared at each other, Damian and his grandfather.

Daniel immediately took the initiative and pretended not to know Damian.

“Grandfather..grandfather is he my brother? She looks a lot like me?”

Simon immediately turned to Damian and nodded.

“Yes, she was taken by a bad woman. You've been separated for seven years and you can finally meet. You should be close to him because he's your brother.”

Simon left his two grandchildren. He hopes Daniel and Damian have a good relationship so Damian will be more obedient to him.

As the door closed, Daniel walked straight to the door and locked it. He also walked to the window looking down, he could see some guards there.

Daniel immediately closed the curtain.

His grandfather must have deployed a bodyguard to make sure that Damian could not escape.

“What happened? Where's mommy?”

“Mother seems to be taken somewhere.”

“It is fitting that I cannot contact him.”

“Ruona must be hurting mom..tadi..”.

Daniel is shocked to hear the full story from Damian. Daniel didn't expect so much trouble in five days when he wasn't around.

“I can't contact dad.”

“I want to get out of here.”

“It will be difficult. The house is heavily guarded by bodyguards on the orders of grandfather.”

Damian saw Daniel's face.

“I have an idea.”

“Really? What?”

“What if I don't leave this house?”

“Huh? I don't understand what you mean. You want out of here but you don't want to leave this house?”

Damian grunting. Damian whispered something in Daniel's ear.

“Why didn't I think of that? But what about your wounds?”

“This is no big deal.”

Daniel ponders. He thought of both good and bad before replying, “Alright.”

In a warehouse that looks dark there is only dim lighting. The place looks dirty with dust everywhere.

Under the dim light, there were a few bruised marks on his cheeks and hands. The woman opened her eyes slowly.

The door suddenly opened and displayed a graceful slender female figure. He walked up to the woman and kicked her leg with the tip of her shoe.

“Build!”

Before Liana could react, Ruona crouched down and pulled her face violently.

“Liana, look at you now! I could have killed you here.”

Ruona instantly let go of her face violently. She stood up and crossed her arms like a universal queen. Ruona suddenly threw an evil smile.

“Do you know how jealous I am of you? Why can you have such a beautiful face and have such a nice background when we start in the same place?”

Ruona's words confused Liana.

“You're envious, so you stole everything I'm entitled to, right?”

Ruona was stunned for a moment then she smiled. Indeed it started with the necklace he took from Liana.

So Ruona could enjoy her wealth and her new status. If not for the exchange of identities maybe Ruona could not enjoy it all.

But it was actually what Ruona got. He was used by Gideon and made a pawn. The only thing Ruona could not reach was Gideon.

Ruona loved him very much but Gideon was cruel and cold.

Ruona glared sharply at Liana with jealousy.

“I'm really envious of you. Why can you have her love while I don't! All right, because he loves you so much . Let's see if he's willing to give up on you?”

“What are you trying to do?”

Ruona immediately smiled. “Because you are very important to him, guess whether he will give up Cross' inheritance rights or not for your sake.”

Liana was completely shocked to hear the extreme thoughts from Ruona. The woman wants to blackmail Gideon into giving up his inheritance using Liana.

“How important do you think I am? He won't give up his inheritance for me so give up.”

Liana's gaze turned cold and sharp. Liana hoped to eradicate the woman with her eyes.

Ruona crouched back.

“In your dream,” said Liana.

“You!”

Ruona yelled out her right hand she swung and was ready to slap but at that moment her phone rang while loud and she stopped her intention.

Ruona instantly looked at her phone and immediately picked up her phone as she looked at the name on her phone screen.

He calms himself and regulates his breathing.

“Kakek.”

“Where are you?”

“Don't worry grandpa, I'll be back soon.”

“Where is he?”

Ruona immediately looked towards Liana and directly left Liana to another place.

“She is safe with me.”

“Do not touch it. I want to ask him myself.”

“Yes. Grandpa, what about the kid?”

“I told Daniel to accompany him.”

“It sounds good. They need time to get to know each other.”

“Yes. You should hurry back.”

“Good.”

Ruona immediately closed her phone.

“Grandfather forgive me, but you won't have a chance to see it.”

Ruona immediately grinned viciously and sauntered away from the place.

Back to Cross's. When Simon returned to the room to see his two grandchildren. He saw Daniel standing by the window looking out.

His twin brother was lying in bed.

Sensing the door opening slowly, Daniel turned around and displayed a bright smile.

“Grandpa buyut.”

“Ya.”

Simon nodded then his gaze fell on the child sleeping in the bed.

“Is he asleep?”

“Iya, it looks like he is very exhausted.”

“How does he think?”

Daniel walked to the side and slowly sat down.

“He's very cuey. He seems to still be afraid of strangers but once we're going to spend time together, I'm sure we'll get to know each other.”

Surprised to dye Simon's face, the man found Daniel strange tonight. Even though the one standing in front of him was Daniel, he felt Daniel's temperament mature. He even seemed wiser and calmer.

“What do you think of your brother?” simon asked because he initially felt his arrival would make Daniel jealous and envious but his guess was wrong.

“I like it very much. From now on I will take care of him because he is so cute.”

“Daniel is indeed a good boy.”

“Grandfather I will sleep in my room because tomorrow I have to go to school.”

Simon nodded. “I want to accompany him for a while, you go first to your room and sleep first.”

“Iya.”

As he walked out of the room and closed the door. His facial expression changed immediately.

He walked to his room but did not know Daniel's. His eyes were watching his surroundings.

The real Daniel is currently asleep in the bedroom bed while the real Damian is currently exchanging identities with Daniel.

When he saw the servant he immediately gave the order.

“My room is a mess. Tidy it up soon.”

“Ya, Small sir.”

Damian followed the servant from behind to his brother's room.

“Small master, his room is not messy at all.”

“Go then,” Damian said.
