66. Damian Custody

Simon Cross raised his head when he heard the sound of a knock. Simon Cross was checking the financial statements with his eyes.

“This grandfather is me, Ruona. Can I come in? There's something I want to say.”

Simon pondered for a moment before putting the report aside.

“Come in!”

Pushing open the door, Ruona walked straight towards him and placed the tea she made in front of grandfather.

“Grandfather, I found the boy”

“Child?”

“Yes, twin brother Daniel. I found out the whereabouts of the boy. Should we take him back to the Cross family?”

Ruona's blood seemed to freeze as Simon was just stunned looking at her. Simon raised his voice just in time.

“Where is he? Take me to him. We'll take him now and bring him back soon.”

“Now? It's late at night, grandpa.”

It's clear that Simon Cross looks happy. It looked from the satisfied expression on his face.

“Arrange now and call people to accompany us to bring the child.”

Ruona smiled obediently. “Ya, grandpa.”

Midnight black sedan car splitting the streets. Sitting in the car with his stick in hand. Simon Cross looked out the window anxiously.

Daniel's birth had given him joy seven years ago. As the head of the Cross family, it was great to see the successors of their bloodline.

But with new news that Cross's surrogate mother previously condoned one of the twins, Simon can't contain his anger.

“What intentions does that woman have? Did he dream that by utilizing his son. She can be Young Madam? Who does he think he is?”

Simon could not calm his anger at this thought. Only when Simon remembered that the boy would return to the Cross Family did he calm down.

The black car stopped right in front of the villa Liana and Damian lived in. Simon Cross and Ruona are still living in the car.

“Bring the kid. Be careful not to hurt him,” Simon Cross told the two bodyguards in front of him.

Several men dressed in black from the car behind him and stormed into the villa.

“Who are they?”

A cold and indifferent voice sounded from the darkness.

Before they reacted, they found several heavily armed men guarding the door and keeping them away from the house.

Guard was surprised. One of them challenged.

“Who are you?”

Damian's bodyguards just stared at them coldly.

“That's it!”

They are standing in one place. They exchanged glances in tacit understanding.

The bodyguards from Simon decided to enter the villa. However there was another dark figure that appeared taking out a sharp dagger from his waist and darting in motion.

Several soft groans rang out before Simon Cross's bodyguards fell down one by one.

Everything happens in just a few minutes.

Simon Cross, who only saw him in the car, felt the cruelty of the guards.

“What happened?”

Ruona's lips trembled when she saw what had happened. It was exactly what Kevin said. Liana's villa was heavily guarded and no one was allowed to enter.

“Grandfather, what should we do now?”

“Have these people been sent by Gideon to protect the woman? The boy did something stupid! He had already lost his wits because of that indistinct woman.”

Simon got angry and tapped his stick on the floor of the car several times.

“Grandfather, what should we do? I thought those guys wouldn't let us in.”

Simon grunting. Then the old man made a call to a special bodyguard to help.

Then a group of people in uniform came straight away.

Damian watched as several special bodyguards in striking uniforms stood in front of their villa.

Damian does not know the intention behind their presence but deep down, Damian knows that he and his mother are in danger.

Liana who was behind Damian felt shocked. The commotion made Liana feel uneasy.

Special bodyguard Simon Croas completely surrounded the villa. Ruona and Adam's assistant get off the car except for Simon Cross.

Liana directly hugged Damian tightly. Ruona and Adam's assistant manage to break into the villa and sweep through all the rooms until they discover Liana and Damian's whereabouts.

Liana was surprised to see Ruona. Liana tried to fight but as strong as she was against it was not comparable to the special bodyguards brought in by Simon.

“Ruona! Did you kill them?”

Liana swept over everyone who surrounded her and felt fear and anxiety.

“I ordered grandfather to bring home the descendants of the Cross family. You signed a contract with the Cross family in the past and that contract clearly states that you have no custody of children. But what are you doing now? You hid Gideon's son for years. You must return the boy back to the Cross family!”

Liana hugged Damian tightly.

“You can't take him! He's my son!”

Liana instead refuses to let the Cross family acknowledge Damian but she worries that Ruona will hurt Damian once Damian returns to the Cross family.

“You refused? You have clearly read and signed his contract letter.” Ruona then sneered.

“Don't tell me that you want to use your son to gain status and wealth? You are really ambitious to climb the social ladder.”

“Shut! Do you think I'm like you? The ambitious one is you!”

“Close your mouth.”

Aversions struck like lightning between them.

“You think I want to bring the boy back? Huh! It's grandfather's order, so give the boy to me.”

“In your dream.”

As Liana took one step back, Ruona would take two steps forward.

“Give the child.”

Ruona reached out her hand to take Damian.

“Don't you dare approach my son! Keep your dirty hands away from him.”

Liana directly slapped Ruona's face as self-defense. An unprepared Ruona, her face immediately felt a heat grabbing on her cheeks.

“How dare you!”

Liana's face was filled with deep hatred. Ruona had taken so many things from him yet she still wanted to take her son away from him. Runna was really greedy.

“The shameless person is you, if my son returns to the Cross family you should also return to where you came from. Don't be greedy and admit your crimes.”

Ruona shouted like a possessed person.

“Shut! You hid the heir of the Cross family and you still dare to me.”

“Crazy woman, don't you dare yell in my mom's delan.”

Damian looked at Ruona coldly. He was obviously very angry and hated. He can draw the conclusion that the shooting incident while at school was the work of Ruona.

“Help me take the boy!”

The special guards immediately acted. Ruona reached out to pull Damian. Damian wrists and bites him.

“Ahhh.”

Damian continued to bite mercilessly. Damian refused to let go.

“Damian don't bite him. His hands are dirty.”

With that Damian immediately released it. Damian immediately pursed his lips.

“Bring the kid!”

Liana was immediately escorted by two special bodyguards until Damian was released from her.

Although Damian tried to hit even kick but his strength was not comparable.

Liana fought them and wanted to take back her son but Liana's hands were immediately tied and she was pushed.

“Mother! Don't you dare hurt my mother! I will not forgive you. I won't let you go easily.”

Damian is not like Daniel who from childhood has received special training. No matter how Damian struggled, he was not that tough.

If you ask where Daniel is. Daniel's at Simon Cross' house. Yeah, Daniel didn't stay in the villa forever. This was done so that Simon Cross would not be suspicious. Damian and Daniel's school are also different.

Ruona instantly gripped Liana's throat firmly. Liana felt suffocated.

“No! Release mom! You are not allowed to touch my mother.”

Ruona wanted to kill Liana here, Ruona increased her strength so that Liana was on the verge of her consciousness.

“Stop!”

Frightened for a moment, Ruona instantly loosened her grip involuntarily.

Liana immediately curled up to the floor. He immediately scooped up a lot of air and coughed.

Simon Cross stood at the door.

Ruona was immediately worried. He fears that Simon Cross will see Liana's face and recognize the similarities in Liana and Ariana's features.
