53. Kitten

Ruona paced in her room. He was very afraid to get out of his house. There will be someone watching him.

His encounter with Johan certainly sparked Kevin's anger. Kevin doesn't like others to disobey his rules, nor does he like others to act on their own.

They look a lot like Gideon and Kevin.

Recalling about Gideon, Ruona had absolutely no idea what plan the man had prepared.

Soon Gideon will announce his marriage to the public and of course it is not simple. There must be shrimp behind the rock.

Currently Ruona is in a very precarious position. Kevin is someone he cannot trust. The man looked doubtful and suspicious.

“Why hasn't he eliminated Liana and her child?”

As he anxiously thought of his next move, there was a knock on the door from outside. That sudden voice jerked him from the daydream.

The waiter pushed the door and gave his greetings.

“More Lady.”

“Are you going to kill me? I almost had a heart attack in shock!”

Ruona reprimanded ferociously.

“Enyah from here!”

Surprised by Ruona's reaction, the maid retreated and closed the door of the room back. He only wanted to clear the place but Ruona's reaction was excessive.

Ruona sighed with annoyance. He walked to the window and looked at the clear blue sky. He finally decided on his final decision.

If Kevin won't take action, he will do what he needs to do to get rid of Liana and her son.

At midnight, Gideon had just returned home because he had to do how much work was being done.

When he got home, he was greeted by two little boys.

“Does your mother still not come home from aunt Suah's house?”

Damian and Daniel shook their heads.

Gideon a few minutes ago got a message from him that he would be home soon but until this moment Liana did not show him the trunk of his nose.

Gideon called Liana but her number could not be reached. Gideon waited a few more minutes.

“Have you guys had dinner?” ask Gideon.

“But.”

“Why not? It's past dinner.”

“We want to wait for mom to come back and have dinner together.”

His two sons refused to eat dinner without their mother. They're waiting at the dinner table.

Gideon immediately stood up and headed to the window to observe the situation outside. He was upset and worried that Liana might have an accident on the way home.

Competition in the business world is the most fierce competition. Although the CGI corp has many partners, it does not rule out the possibility that CGI Corp also has many enemies.

Gideon could not stand still in the house and wait. He took the car keys and opened the door. Suddenly the door was kicked open.

Liana is seen running towards the bathroom with the cardboard in her hand. The woman looked happy.

The enraged Gideon only saw that sight.

Gideon follows Liana who enters the bathroom. Gideon stood at the door while observing Liana.

The woman took out a kitten that looked dirty and unkempt from the cardboard.

“Kittens? Why is he carrying a kitten?”

With sparkling eyes, Liana held the kitten.

“Gideon, see this kitten.”

Gideon raised his eyebrows. “ Where did you get it?”

“I picked it up from the roadside. Look at! Isn't she so adorable? That's very funny.”

“It looks ugly and dirty.”

Liana grunting. “I will bathe her and she will look very cute.”

Liana bathed the kitten and immediately dried the fur. The appearance of the kitten was truly one hundred and eighty degrees different.

The kitten was clean and the fur looked very thick.

Liana carried him in an agony. He put it back in a clean cardboard box and showed it to his two sons.

“Kids! See what I brought.”

Damian and Daniel were curious and ran. Liana placed the cardboard on the floor so that her two sons could see the kitten.

“Similar to you,” Damian said.

Daniel could only stare at Damian with pouting lips.

Liana looked directly at Gideon who was just standing around.

“What do you think? Isn't this kitten adorable? How about we adopt?”

“No.”

Gideon refused without thinking. Gideon stuck out his index finger and thumb and pinched the kitten's back neck gently.

Gideon. “I don't like him.”

The kitten seemed distracted and meowed to ask to be let go.

“Dad! You hurt her feelings.”

Daniel looked straight at his father and Gideon put the kitten back in the box.

“I like this kitten. I'll take care of it and keep it if you don't want to. I don't care.”

“Why do you want this kitten?”

“She's so adorable. I want to keep it.”

Liana looked down at the pitiful looking kitten living alone out there.

Liana could not imagine what kind of danger had already befallen her. He stretched out his hand to stroke her fur fondly.

“Throw it.”

“Dad!” damian and Daniel shouted at the same time.

“He's still a kid. What if out there a car accidentally hits him when he crosses the street?”

“Liana.”

“I've decided to keep this kitten. What can you do about it?”

The words that came out of Liana's lips were filled with a hint of threat.

Gideon coldly stared at Liana's face and the kitten's face in turn.

Since when did he dare like this?

Gideon sighed and gave up. “Care, if that's what you want.”

“Gideon Cross, I love you.”

Liana and her two sons cheered happily. Liana who was carrying the kitten on her deck approached towards Gideon but the man hurriedly took a step back.

“But I have three rules!”

Liana nodded immediately. “What?"

Gideon looked at the kitten.

“The kitten should be on the third floor. Don't let him be on the second floor of our room or on the first floor. So the matter of eating, bathing should be on the 3rd floor. Do not let the cat's fur spread on the floor. Don't let him crack things or make scratches if I see him, soon I'll throw him.”

Liana grumbling. “How can you be heartless. You are also his father.”

Gideon glanced at him. “ My gen, very normal. I cannot give ******* in the form of a cat.”

“Woooh, see your father Funny.”

“Mother, is that namany?” ask Daniel.

“Ya, her name is Funny.”

“Bu, how about tomorrow we go to the veterinary clinic to check out Funny.”

“That's a great idea.”

“Why not now? Get that kitten vaccinated soon.”

“You will drive us right?” liana asked with a smile.

“Good.”

By the time they arrived at the veterinary clinic, the veterinary clinic was almost closed. Seeing that the door was immediately closed, Liana rushed down from the car while carrying a funny.

“Can I get the vaccine for this kitten?”

The clinic employee saw Liana and the kitten. The employee wanted to reject her and immediately closed the door but her words faltered upon seeing the large figure behind Liana.

Gideon Cross stood behind Liana with an ice-cold face. His sharp eyes looked straight at the employee who was about to close the clinic.

“Vaccine this kitten!”

Gideon's presence was terrifying.
