[Darkness Invasion Arc - #9]
...----------------...
"Eh? You've lost your mind, haven't you? Most people would ask to be released. As for you, instead ask to be tortured." Darkzero laughed at Steve's words. While the man standing behind the bars looked at him full of seriousness and anger.
Steve hush. Not that he had no argument to answer, but he did not want to make small talk. Inwardly, he also hoped that his comrades would be fine even though he was not.
"Cock quiet? If you're silent, it means you're still afraid of me." Darkzero said after three seconds he stopped laughing.
"Whatever you say." Steve shifted his eyes. His eyes narrowed when he realized that there was another execution room across from his room.
"Hehe, you're curious about that room, aren't you?" Darkzero asked as he turned his back to Steve's room. The execution room was very dark. Unlike the room where Steve still had a lighting torch, the room was completely dark.
"No. I'm just curious about my partner's whereabouts." Steve replied indifferently. It is true that he was curious about the news of Araya, more precisely worried.
"Well, right. In the room, there's someone you're looking for. But, maybe his life is no more."
Steve's eyes widened after hearing the words of the Dark Being. His feeling is uncomfortable. His breath began to hunt even though he did not run away.
"Yes, he's dead. No longer breathing. Just let him see his dad and the albino guy." Darkzero turned and looked at Steve.
Albino guy? Wh who?
"Who do you mean 'Albino Man'?" asked Steve in wonder. So far, he has never known if there are members who have genetic disorders such as albinos. Or, is his existence kept secret?
"Well, you'll probably never know about it." Darkzero shrugged his shoulders indifferently.
GREKS!
The creature opened the bars of the room across from the execution room where Steve was. Suddenly the man became even more afraid that what Darkzero said was true.
Five seconds passed. The room opposite it became bright as Darkzero lit a torch inside.
Steve's eyes widened, his mouth gaping after seeing what happened to his partner.
Inside the room, Araya looks unconscious—or maybe it has been more than that— with battered body. Blood splashes were everywhere, on the floor, on the walls, even on the ceiling as well.
All over Araya's body was dirty from her own blood. Same with his face. There are cuts on the forehead and under the eyes, as well as the chin. At both corners of his lips, there were traces of blood that had not yet dried.
And even more astonishing, there were three swords still stuck in his body. One on the shoulder, and the other two stuck in the stomach—one of the two swords hit right in the liver.
"Park Hana .. is impossible …." Steve didn't believe what he saw. There was no way Park Hana would die that fast, he thought. But what he saw was real.

Flashback a few days ago.
Araya opened her eyes first. He saw the room across from Steve's. Several times Araya called out his name, hoping that his male companion would soon awaken.
But what happened was something he didn't expect. There were even some Darkness Swordman under Darkzero who came to him. And each of them carries a weapon.
"What do you want?!" Araya asked after the Darkness Swordman opened the door of the bars and entered into it.
"Only one, that is, torturing you to death."
Not until ten seconds, the execution had begun. Various attacks Araya received without resistance—because his hands and feet were also tied with chains like Steve.
Several times their bodies were hot and sore due to the hit of the whip. And worst of all, the prick in the body again he felt after a few months passed since the Mars mission.
"I have a bad feeling." he muttered as he stared at the dimensional gate that was about two kilometers away from where he stood.
He quickly tried to track down all his comrades who were now in a place that was like a battlefield. Their position is known, except for the other two members.
"Where are Araya and Steve?" his panic peaked after he found no signal from the two men.
"the araya? Who?" asked Lucas, of course he still did not understand that Park Hana's real name was Araya.
"Park Hana I mean."
"He and Steve don't exist?"
Dae-Vin nodded, his hands clenched tightly together with the worry that kept coming at him.
Flashback complete.
...----------------...
"Hey, Zaaryan!" someone called. And the person who felt called immediately turned to him.
"What's up, Professor?" asked Zaaryan after all these hours he did not meet the senior. Right in front of him, Professor R Rain walked quickly towards him.
"Why just be alone here? It's dangerous to be alone." he asked after standing right in front of Zaaryan.
"The other friends served near Block D through H. There was so much Darkness Swordman." replied Zaaryan, at first glance he remembered the words of some tertiary squadmates. They asked Zaaryan to keep an eye on it from there, whether or not the Darkness Swordman came a lot, as well as the level they had.
"Ooh, I get it." Rain replied as he patted slowly on Zaaryan's shoulder. "And, do you know how to get in there?" raising his chin towards the Darkness dimension, Rain asked. Hoping that Zaaryan could answer him, for he had been there.
"Can't it be entered?" Zaaryan asked back. "See how many Darkness Swordman came in and out of it."
"We can't get in. It's like there's a sensor that can detect our energy, so the transparent wall pops up and blocks" Rain explained.
Zaaryan nodded slowly. "Have you tried to go downstairs?"
"Through below? Meanin?"
"We went underground to get there. Um, I also don't know if this method will work or not" said Zaaryan somewhat doubtfully. There was one thing he thought. If it passes underground to get to the other side of the gate, can it reach the Darkness dimension? That's what he thinks.
"It seems impossible. That gate is the barrier. Not necessarily without that gate we can get there."
"That's right." replied Zaaryan. "I don't know any other way, Professor. So far, no Elemental members have made it through that gate."
"really? But, how can Steve—wait, he's a user of the dark element, so he can pass it." Rain changed his tone, which had been slow, now became a little excited. An idea popped up in his head, so that a little bit could reduce his anxiety.
"Then, what to do, Professor?" Zaaryan asked. From the expression of the man in front of him, he guessed that Rain had a plan. And his guess is right.
"This way might be a little cruel. But, no more ruthless than those who invaded our dimension."
"How?"
"We're going to take the Darkness Swordman element forcibly. And we're gonna use it to get in there."
