[Mars Mission Arc - #11]
...----------------...
"MAYERY!" dae-vin, Hanny, and Zaaryan all at the same time. Araya's body was already sprawled with fresh blood that was still flowing.
As for Grey, he had already left since a few seconds ago. It's so innocent and sly too.
After Grey left, the atmosphere in that place became the same as before, no longer affected by the effects of the dark aura emanating from every Darkness Swordman.
The three of them immediately approached Araya to check her condition.
"Araya, you hear me? Hang in!" said Dae-Vin panicked while patting Araya's cheek whose face was not covered by Armor. His pale face pias, as well as his body temperature had cooled down. The pulse on his neck was not too pronounced.
"We need to get him back on the plane immediately." Hanny gives a proposal after finding Araya who can not feel anything.
"No, we're going home to base." Dae-Vin refutes while lifting Araya's limp body. Staring at the eyes of his face that increasingly paled as his blood continued to go outside.
"But, what about your sword, Dae-Vin?" that's what Zaaryan said. After he says, Hanny and Dae-Vin realize that Dae-Vin's sword is still stuck in Araya's body.
"Don't be plucked, the blood will go out even more!" answer Hanny quickly.
Dae-Vin looks at the two in turn and then says, "you two, teleport."
Hanny and Zaaryan immediately nodded in agreement. Immediately they teleported to their plane.
...----------------...
"Hanny, look after Araya. We have to get to the base quickly." Dae-Vin said after securing Hanny to look after Araya on the way home. Hanny nodded. Then Dae-Vin immediately follows Zaaryan to the cabin room.
"We're in professional fashion." as we sat and put on our seat belts, Dae-Vin said without thinking.
"What's? We've never done it."
"We should try it." Dae-Vin again refutes. "After all, this is an emergency, I'll send the blue code to the base so they can prepare."
"Yes" Zaaryan replied briefly. Hold tightly to the steering wheel of the plane while looking forward.
...----------------...
Within seven minutes, their plane had landed safely on the hidden runway of the Elemental Asia organization. Immediately they evacuated the Araya whose life was on the edge of the horn.
There are many people gathered in front of the emergency room. Most are passive members who work in the medical field.
"Here" said one young woman, returning Dae-Vin's clean and shiny sword. Of course it has been cleaned with a half-dry cloth.
At first glance Dae-Vin sees moments he will never forget. When the medics drew his sword from Araya's body, his blood increased. Probably about three times as much as before.
Dae-Vin receives a thread of his sword with a trembling hand. His body felt weak, especially his legs which seemed unable to hold his weight anymore.
When the door of the emergency room was closed, his feeling became very painful. He still could not believe that Araya had been pierced by the sword he used to use, even until it was as bad as it was. Well, even though it wasn't him who did it, it was the Grey Darkness Swordman. He felt that he would always be psyched and traumatized if he used that sword.
"You guys," someone's baritone voice sounded from behind the three of them who were still standing in front of the room.
They are still not focused on the situation because they are still in shock and stricken with a sense of distrust in this incident.
Plok!
"I know you still don't believe it. But try to stay willing. Things like this are common" Lee Hyun-Jae said as he shook his head slowly. From his tone of speech, it was as if he was not worried about Araya's state which was more than severe.
"What do you mean, brother? The condition of Araya is very severe. Is that normal?" hanny's impressed reply denied Hyun-Jae's statement just now.
"Yes, Araya is like our own brother." Zaaryan.
"Arayans.. Not just our friend. He is a part of us. If he doesn't exist, we won't be a team anymore." Dae-Vin speaks with teary eyes. This was the first time for Zaaryan and Hanny to see such an expression of Dae-Vin.
Hanny looked at him with a pity. Same with Zaaryan. They have realized Dae-Vin's feelings for Araya, so they also do not want if Araya why-why.
"That's it. You three are asked to gather in the main room." Hyun-Jae says he ends the conversation, then starts to walk away from the place.
...----------------...
"I'm glad that you guys accomplished the mission so well. But, I know there are things that make you unhappy." said Captain Akira as he looked towards the ninth generation members who were bowed earlier.
"Eee, sorry Captain. Which real elemental stone is it?" hanny asked, slightly raising her eyes. Encourage yourself to ask questions that are a little off-topic.
"The real one is the one Araya found. The one at the auction was a fake." replied Captain Akira casually.
"Huh? So, we've spent forty billion dollars just to auction off fake elemental stones?" Zaaryan spoke up. If that's true, then they've lost a big, no, big deal.
"No, the auction was canceled because Darkness Swordman acted. So automatically the balance of the VVIP black card is still intact all." explained the Captain who made Hanny and Zaaryan exhale relief. If Grey had not acted, they would have auctioned off the fake element stones. They also benefit in this.
"Ehem! We like your outspoken attitude, Hanny." from the back of Captain Akira, Professor R said after clearing his throat.
"Huh? What do you mean, Professor?"
"You're quick to make decisions. It's necessary in this organization."
"Captain, Professor, did you all call us here just for this?" dae-vin's question managed to make the atmosphere of the room become silent for a moment. All eyes were staring at him.
"No. There's something important you should know. It's about Araya." replied Professor F while standing in alignment with the Captain.
"Professor, do you think Araya will be okay?" Hanny asked who was immediately replied with a nod by the Professor.
"Well, of course. I'm pretty sure that Araya will be fine. He's not a weak person." His reply sounded serious. The three juniors looked at him with questioning gazes.
"This is what we want to talk to you about. This you should know, about the past of Araya. So that we can all try so that similar things do not happen again." continued Professor F who made the three young men become very curious and somewhat worried. Curious as to what Araya's past was like, and also worried about what was happening at the time.
"But you better not tell Araya later, let him know the truth someday" said Professor R slowly, but it still sounded clear in the enclosed square room.
"Before, you know, right, that we were both members of the seventh generation Elemental?" Professor F starts by asking a question. All three nodded compactly.
"The seventh generation Elemental, its members are not only two people, but three. I, Professor R, and the third one is Araya's father." when Professor F told me, Dae-Vin, Hanny, and Zaaryan listened seriously. They were somewhat surprised to learn that the third member in the seventh generation Elemental was Araya's father.
"Let's continue. During our last mission, he was on leave to go home. But, we screwed it up. It's because we're too weak, we're making him end his time with his family." - witfully, Professor R. Inwardly, he felt deeply guilty for his mistake twelve years ago. A mistake that ended badly.
To be continued..
