Elemental Gen - Z

Elemental Gen - Z
Chapter 62's

[Desert Mission Arc - #2]

...----------------...

"Is this.. Petroleum mine?" whispered Araya while glancing at Dae-Vin, though his gaze was still fixed on the foreign place.

"Looks yes. How about we try asking people there?" an idea was sparked when Dae-Vin was still looking at the miners working at the site. There were about thirty people there. He wanted to try asking to get something a clue that might be able to help.

"Hmm it's up to you. I'll just come along." Araya replied.

After that, they both appeared to them. Attempting to approach one of the workers who was taking a short break.

"Excuse me sir, may we ask you something?" dae-vin asks the man after they stand face to face with him.

"Eh? Who are you guys? How can kids like you find this place?" tanyanya astonished while removing the head protection hat that she had been wearing.

For a moment, Araya and Dae-Vin fell silent. The man observed the two of them from top to bottom.

"Aahs.. I-i understand. You're members of Elemental Asia, right?" ask after a little certainty. He could deduce after seeing the transformation tools attached to each of their left hands.

"Yes Sir. You know that organization?" Dae-Vin asks enthusiastically, especially after learning that the person already knows where they are from. Maybe he has a lead.

"of course. Previous generations have come here as well. And the four of them helped us to build this mine to make it safer" he explained. Araya and Dae-Vin put on curious faces.

"Previous generations mean the eighth generation. But what do the four mean?" araya said in his heart. That's a reasonable question. The current eighth generation Elementals were only three members that they knew of.

"So, what are you guys coming here for?" his question broke the reverie of them both.

"Eem, that's sir. Did you know about the elemental stone in this desert?" asked Araya after a moment she forgot the sentence.

"I know a little. When your seniors came here, they said they were looking for that element stone as well. But they haven't found it yet. So, I don't know if the elemental stone can be found or not" he explained rather long.

"So, how?" whispered Araya to Dae-Vin who was still silent to digest the statement sentence just now.

"Wait a minute." replied Dae-Vin as he slightly raised his gaze.

"How many generations are you?" ask the man to both of them.

Suddenly, they answered him simultaneously, "ninth generation."

"Ooh, I get it. If you can tell, what's your name?" ask again. This time, he asked for a name.

"I'm Araya."

"Kim Dae - Vin."

As they mentioned their names, they shook hands.

"I'm Hendra. I worked here ten years ago" he said, introducing himself.

"Wait, you two?" looking back at Araya and Dae-Vin, Hendra asked them. It is impossible that this generation consists of only two teenagers.

"That's just us sir, two of our friends are looking elsewhere" replied Araya. At first glance he remembered his other two comrades. Have they got any leads or no progress?

"So so. You want to save more time and energy apparently. But I don't think that's a good choice. If you split up, and if one of you meets the Darkness Swordman, it could be dangerous later. You guys are still juniors, right?" said warned.

...----------------...

"Haaahs.. Why is it noon already? The feeling was still eight" Hanny said in a lazy tone. He was still walking, only with a slight bow of his body and his hands hanging. His feet were so heavy and hot.

"Yes. If it's midday like this, there's no place for us to take shelter for a while." Zaaryan replied in a voice that was no less lazy. They were both exhausted from walking non-stop. The place was also hot three hours ago. It was eleven o'clock, by noon.

"Either where Araya and Dae-Vin are now.. But it seems like they're fine." Still going on, Hanny tried to check the signals from her two partners who parted ways with them.

"They're in the same place. No movement either, did they find a good place to rest?" hanny asked herself. In his mind began to appear a picture of shady and shady places, and there is a source of clean water that water can be drunk directly.

"It seems refreshing to drink coconut ice." Wiping the sweat running down his temple, Zaaryan also began to imagine. Unlike what Hanny imagined, she instead thought of a type of fresh drink like coconut ice mixed with brown sugar.

"Hey! Don't talk about the no-no! I'm getting thirsty!"

"If the thirsty stay min-" had not yet had Zaaryan finish his sentence, his gaze had caught an object that might be able to help them.

Not far from there, there was a small lake with several trees on its outskirts.

"Wow! There's lake! Finally!" hanny ran to that place. Likewise with Zaaryan, they ran without thinking first.

As they got closer, the lake slowly vanished without a trace. They threw a glance around to look for the existence of the lake. However, there is only sand there.

"To where? Where'd it go?"

"It turns out it's just a mirage." exhaling in disappointment, Zaaryan bowed lethargicly.

"Ah yes, you are right Yan. We have been warned that there will be this phenomenon in the desert. Why did I forget?" hanny said as she crouched down and pointed her hands forward. He lowered his head, letting the sweat still wet his nape and back.

"You want a better place?" suddenly, there was the voice of a woman behind them. Slowly the two of them turned around and looked at who it was.

"Yes. Where's the place?" ask Zaaryan directly to the point. Supposedly, they asked who that person was first.

"Here." she replied briefly. In one blink of an eye, the place turned into a valley with a fairly high waterfall. The grasslands are visible as far as the eye can see. Rainbows and thin clouds became the decoration of the sky at that time.

"Waaah. How come? This place instantly becomes cool." said Hanny amazed as she looked around him. Totally inversely proportional to the previous place. If in the desert was arid and hot, then in this place it feels cool. As if this place has never been touched by humans and is not at all affected by global warming.

"of course. You enjoying? Please if you want to rest here." he said again, then turned around and left them both.

"Yey! For a while we won't finally be hot!" while jumping around in excitement, Hanny walked towards the clear watering river. So clear, even the base of the river can be seen clearly.

"Wait Hanny! Don't be careless!" while trying to prevent Hanny's reckless actions, Zaaryan is ignored by Hanny.

There's a point. Since the incident, Zaaryan felt something strange. His feelings are the same as when he was trapped with Araya in another dimension during the search for elemental stones on Mars.

He's got a bad feeling. Something unexpected is about to happen. But is the estimate correct? Who was this woman really?

To be continued..

Actually, who's that woman? Could he be evil? What's gonna happen next? Stay tuned in the next chapter!
