Elemental Gen - Z

Elemental Gen - Z
Chapter 12's

[Test Arc - #9]

...----------------...

"Where are you, Araya?" dae-vin said in his heart. He was really worried about Araya's current state. Especially now that it's been almost half seven nights. And, the weather began to cloudy, when it was bright.

Dae-Vin walks into his room, then sees a computer to track down Araya's element controller. He always wears that, right? Dae-Vin begins to search.

After several attempts to trace the whereabouts of Araya, but no results. The signal is very weak. Then, he decided to track her down using his element controller alone.

...----------------...

Dae-Vin is still trying to find. He's looking for him at the eastern base. There, he meets Hanny.

"Dae-Vin, have you seen Araya?" Hanny asked first.

"I'm looking for him" Dae-Vin replies while looking around.

"Wasn't she with you?" ask Hanny again. What do you think Dae-Vin should answer?

"Yes," Dae-Vin answered briefly, then immediately walked away leaving Hanny.

"Where's the wine going?" hanny asks inwardly as she looks at Dae-Vin's back, which is further away and then disappears from the wall.

...----------------...

"Maybe he's on the roof? All right, I'll be there." Inner Dae-Vin after seeing a sign or symbol that depicts people climbing a ladder that leads up. He went there, hoping that he could meet Araya.

When we got to the roof, there was no one. Dark, cold, silent, only the sound of the waves. The sky was covered with gray clouds.

Dae-Vin is on the eastern roof, and Araya is on the western roof. The place is similar, but opposite direction.

"He's not here. Where is he? Don't-don't.." muttered Dae-Vin. He has a bad feeling about it. Then, Dae-Vin looks at the seawater that is under the roof. The waves are rather big.

"What if he threw himself in there? If so, then am I too late?! But, I don't feel the signal." Bad thoughts have surfaced and haunt Dae-Vin. What if Araya had jumped into the sea and drowned? But that makes little sense, Araya is not that kind of person. He would not do reckless things if it was not urgent.

"Oh yeah, I haven't checked the library. He's usually there, right?" after getting the idea, Dae-Vin immediately enters and runs into the library. Quite a distance away, the distance was about one hundred and thirty meters, because he had to pass the stairs first, then go to the second floor, the library was at the end.

Arriving in front of the library, he took a short breath. He did not decide to go straight in. But, he looked at his element controller first, was there an Araya signal?

"Araya is not here. Maybe.. secretly he went back to the study room?" after that, Dae-Vin tries to look for her into the study room.

The same thing happened again, after checking the signal, there was nothing. He was almost desperate, but he found a clue.

On his element controller, he saw the number 30 meters away, which meant that Araya was thirty meters away from him.

"Thirty meters? Not far. Hmm, if from here, where would he go? If you go left, I will reach the eastern base, I have checked that section. To the right, the western headquarters. I haven't checked it! Geez, it's so simple, but why didn't I think of it?"

After thinking, Dae-Vin decides to search for him around the western headquarters. He also found the same sign as earlier, a symbol that shows the western roof floor.

...----------------...

Arriving at the western rooftop floor, there he saw Araya who was immersing her face in the knee she was hugging. Next to it, there was a tab that had died as a result of its battery running out. Dae-Vin feels a little relieved and happy after finding Araya.

"Araya," he called out in a flat voice. Araya did not say, nor did he move.

"Araya, I've been looking for you since" Dae-Vin said. Araya ignored him.

In the end, Dae-Vin approaches Araya and sits next to her.

"Araya," he called again in a low voice.

"Yes" Araya replied in a quiet voice, without raising her head in the slightest.

"Please look at the person you're talking to" Dae-Vin said, holding Araya's left shoulder. Inevitably, Araya also stared at him. His eyes are still glazed.

"Araya, mianhae (sorry). I. I'm really sorry. I've been overdone and not thinking about your feelings." Dae-Vin apologizes. It was only the first time he had heard the word 'sorry' from Dae-Vin.

"No, Dae-Vin. It's not your fault. I also apologize for accidentally yelling at you earlier. I know, you're the one responsible for being trusted. So, it's not your fault." Araya replied with a sad look.

"Then why are you crying?" ask Dae-Vin.

"It's okay." replied Araya. There was another reason why he was crying.

"Maybe I should learn about mental health with Yuu-Ran's sister" Dae-Vin said in his heart. He was a little insensitive to the feelings of others. Next time, she will learn about psychology with Kim Yuu-Ran, her brother. Remembering that her brother has a psychology major.

Suddenly, the lightning light looked very bright and also clear right then and there.

JGEEERRR!

The sound of lightning was heard loudly. Reflexes, Araya instantly closed her eyes and covered both her ears with her palms.

"Why, is my hand moving on its own?" Dae-Vin said in his heart after realizing that he had embraced Araya. Although not very tightly. But, it can be ascertained that Araya is a little comfortable and calm. Then, after things start to improve..

"Sorry," said Dae-Vin again, because he had hugged her by accident.

"It's okay" Araya replied.

"Let's go in, it's already raining." Dae-Vin asked as he got up from his seat after sensing a few drops of water coming down from the sky.

"Later you'll get sick if you stay here." Dae-Vin invites Araya to go inside. In fact, he also extended his right hand.

"Hmm," Araya muttered as she slightly turned her face away.

"Why?" Dae-Vin asks again.

"Hmm, actually, my stomach hurts." replied Araya hesitated. I don't know what Dae-Vin will do after this.

"You haven't eaten yet, have you? Then let's eat,"

"B. not that. I'm not hungry. That's it, you know, I'm still puberty" said Araya.

"Oh that. Sure oes. You're gonna have something coming soon, right? It's only natural that you were being sensitive" Dae-Vin said as he leaned over, then crouched his back to Araya.

"Let's ride!" said Dae-Vin while patting his shoulder briefly.

"Huh?"

"It's raining now. Let's go in. You go up, if not.."

"If not, what?"

"Do you want me to carry the front?"

"No-no."

"Then let's go up quick."

"B. okay."

In the end, inevitably, Araya wrapped her hands around Dae-Vin's neck. Dae-Vin immediately stood up, starting to slowly walk into the base.

"I'm heavy?" Aria asked.

"No, you're not too heavy. Eat a lot" Dae-Vin said.

"Dae-Vin, what if someone sees us?"

"It's okay, I'll be responsible."

Just then, Dae-Vin feels Araya's heartbeat beating fast. Wh why?

"Why is his heart beating? Maybe, Hmm no-no. You've been thinking too far. Perhaps Araya was still a bit shocked by the sound of lightning earlier." Dae-Vin wants to shake off his negative thoughts. Without him noticing, Dae-Vin had smiled.

"Dae-Vin, are you smiling?" asked Araya without having to look at her face.

"No," Dae-Vin replied briefly. His face still smiled thinly.

...----------------...

"Are you really not hungry? You haven't had dinner yet" asked Dae-Vin after delivering Araya to her room.

"I'm not hungry" replied Araya who had been sitting on her bed.

"Is your stomach still hurting?"

"Not really."

"You want to take medicine?"

"No," replied Araya briefly. In fact, he was still unable to swallow the medicine. So, it must be pureed and given water first if he will take medicine. A little troublesome, and in that way, the bitter taste will be more pronounced.

"Ooh, yasuda. You should drink plenty of water. All right, I'm leaving, okay? You take a break."

"Yes,"

"Yes, this is" said Dae-Vin, taking out three pieces of paper from his pocket.

"That's the note I wrote for you. You just use it." said Dae-Vin while giving the paper to Araya. After that, Dae-Vin walks out of Araya's room.

"Thank you ka-" Araya hasn't had a chance to thank him, after what Dae-Vin did earlier. Dae-Vin is no longer in the room.

The paper contained a record of all ninth-grade material that was written in a concise and easy to understand manner. Dae-Vin recorded it. It was only the first time Araya had seen Dae-Vin's handwriting, the writing was neat and nice.
