[Return Arc - #2]
...----------------...
"Arya?!" of course the three colleagues of his generation were surprised by the arrival of Araya in the room. Though a moment ago, Araya was still lying unconscious in the room.
And now, Araya was already standing in front of all of them. Can stand upright even though his body has not been one hundred percent recovered. His head is still bandaged, his hands are still plaster cast and there must be more wounds that cannot be seen directly.
"Hi," said Araya with a faint smile. He waved his hand with his left hand.
"Araya, when did you realize?" hanny asked as she walked over to Araya.
"Hmm about fifteen minutes ago." Araya answered while moving her eyeballs while trying to remember.
"Fifteen minutes ago, we were still there." Zaaryan.
"Oh maybe ten minutes ago." Araya confirmed his words earlier. He put on a smile again. A smile that was like the light of the rising sun to someone who was still silent.
Who else if not Dae-Vin? Inwardly, she was very grateful to be able to see Araya's smile again. Well even though he already knew that Araya would not leave him that soon. But still, for Dae-Vin her smile was so warm.
"You okay, Kim Dae-Vin?" tilting her head, Araya asks Dae-Vin who is still standing in silence.
"Eh, i-iya." Araya's question managed to make him jerk. After answering briefly, he shifted his gaze.
"Thank God you're conscious, Araya. How's your condition?" professor F asked Araya, who was still silent.
"It's better, Professor. It's just, I'm having a little trouble walking." replied Araya.
"Have your legs been hurt?" Zaaryan asked while observing Araya from top to bottom. Araya nodded slowly.
"So, how did you get here?" hanny asked.
"Ehm, after I woke up, I came straight here. Ten minutes I used to walk here." Briefly, Araya explained. A while ago, he had held back the pain in his left leg to be able to walk to the main room.
A few moments ago, he walked out of the emergency room so as not to be caught by his three friends. Like a patient who escaped from a hospital. But it was fortunate that his stitching wound did not open after he used it to move.
"That's indomitable. Thankfully nothing happened to him. If it happens and he gets hurt again, haah.. I can't imagine it." While shuffling his hair briefly, Dae-Vin sat up. He was quite sick to hear a short story from Araya, his journey here is certainly at risk.
"So, we have another mission, Professor?" ask Araya on a different topic. He also saw a hologram showing some of the images. His brain managed to translate that they would go to that place to carry out the mission.
"Yes. This time the mission is harder. But this mission is only about to start in a week. So, you can still prepare first. And you Araya, do not move too much so that you recover quickly. Don't forget to take a health check either." explained Professor R, Araya nodded slowly.
...----------------...
"Araya, can I help you?" hanny asked as she approached Araya who was about to walk towards the door to the outside in the main room.
Long story short, the meeting was over and they were allowed to go outside.
"Ee, is it not a hassle?" glancing at him at a glance, Araya asked before accepting. Hanny shook her head strongly and then smiled.
"No, I'm willing to help you."
In the end, Hanny really helped Araya. He embraces Araya's shoulder and together walks out of the room.
"Araya, why don't you use a walking stick?" asked Zaaryan while aligning his steps with the two girls.
"My right hand was broken and my left hand was also slightly injured. Can not be used to hold." explained Araya while showing her left palm which is also bandaged.
"Had this organization not been so bound by that rule, I would have helped you earlier." Dae-Vin. Staring at his three comrades who were walking parallel in front of him with a gaze that was hard to decipher.
He understood the meaning of the rules about it. Such actions are allowed in a truly urgent emergency. Like eight days ago. Dae-Vin takes Araya to the emergency room, but she is not reprimanded at all.
"Araya, where are you going? Go back there or to your room?" hanny's question was able to break Dae-Vin's daydream. He had time to daydream while walking.
"To my room."
"Aren't you going to get in trouble for running away quietly?" Hanny scrunched her forehead. He thinks that Araya escaped from the room. But the truth is not what he thinks.
"No, actually I've been sober since about half an hour ago. Before going to the main room earlier, I had told some officers there first. And I'm allowed. They even helped me get out of the safe." Araya explained as she recalled the sequence of events she had experienced after she had been unconscious for more than a week.
"really? But just now that we were there, you still didn't wake up." Feeling that something strange happened, Zaaryan revealed his question.
"That's.. I was originally conscious. I even know you guys are coming. I just closed my eyes. I want to surprise you guys." Araya smiled again. Hanny and Zaaryan slightly widened their eyes because they did not believe Araya's words. Meanwhile, Dae-Vin immediately stops his steps after hearing the word 'surprise'.
They don't realize that Dae-Vin stopped in the middle of the road. Then, Dae-Vin quickens his pace and soon catches up with them. Standing in front of them made the three of them also stop.
"What's up, Dae-Vin?" noticing Dae-Vin's strange demeanor, Araya tries to ask.
"Your surprise really surprised me. I was so happy that I was speechless after you came." lowered his head, Dae-Vin explained. Araya laughed a little.
"I'm happy that my plan is going well, hehe." said Araya as she chuckled with a smile. The smile makes Dae-Vin's lips curl upwards. He smiled, even though it was just a faint smile.
...----------------...
Arriving at Araya's room, Hanny helps her to sit on her bed. He then asked Araya.
"After this, what will you do Araya? Straight to sleep?"
"Looks not. I was satisfied I slept for eight days. How can I sleep that long?" rubbing his temple, Araya asked herself.
His entire body was still in pain, especially at the bottom of the ribs which were the parts pierced by the sword. He could feel that the part was still bandaged, but he had not seen it with his own eyes. He was wearing clothes.
"Euh, my body feels sticky." muttered Araya after rubbing her slightly greasy face. His body felt sticky because for days he had not cleansed himself.
"Don't shower Araya. If you're better off taking a bath." said Hanny, moving her palms hinting to prevent Araya's actions.
"Well.. Apparently I have to make friends first with this inherent feeling in my body." sighing, Araya said softly while bowing her head.
"B-not so Araya. If you really want to take a shower, I can help you too. But, what about your bandage if it gets wet?"
"The bandages here are all waterproof. Although the outside is wet, but the wound will not get wet. They told me before I went outside." replied Araya who made Hanny grin.
"Well, if you want to, let's take a bath together!"
"Wait, what?!"
To be continued..
