[Final Arc - #4]
...----------------...
"Surprisingly, there doesn't seem to be any Darkness Swordman heading here." scanning from a distance, Henry said after several times monitoring the dimensional barrier gate that was still open. From there, there was not a single Darkness Swordman moving towards the location where he was.
"Yes. I feel like something's wrong. After the explosion earlier, there was absolutely no Darkness Swordman group that split apart other than going north." Adli responded to his colleague's remark. He has been there for ten minutes.
"That explosion, in the north, right?" Henry turned his body to face Adli. His facial expression showed that he was curious as well as worried. He was not wearing any armor, so his face could be seen clearly.
"really. There's Eve and Theo. Maybe they know what's really going on. I'll try to call them."
Henry nodded in agreement. There are both of those people there. However, that does not mean they are witnesses of events that occurred a while ago. They were late when it was all over.
"Theo, Eve, what's going on there? You guys okay?" ask Adli through communication. At first glance there is a 'crutches' sound when a new signal is connected.
"We're doing fine. But, there's something strange about your comrades!" reply Theo from across.
Adli scrunched his forehead. "Our partner? Which who?"
"Park Hana's. He was now controlling the strange element that caused the big explosion earlier."
"What?!" adli said loudly in surprise. What element did he use until it could cause such a huge explosion? Her thought.
"What's wrong?" Henry asked as he walked closer, after he noticed Adli's different expression.
"Park Hana's. The one who caused the explosion was Park Hana! Perhaps he is now the Darkness Swordman." Adli. The young man concluded before being given additional explanations.
Henry hit his shoulder briefly. "Hey, don't joke! He cannot be an enemy. He won't be easily persuaded by them."
"Yes, he is still our ally. But, the element he used seemed to belong to Steve, a dark element combined with another element." Eve said. He immediately informed them before the misunderstanding continued.
"Steve's? Why did he give it to Park Hana? Does he not need it?" Henry felt something was wrong. In such crucial moments, the active members of Elemental would not be as easy as it was to give their transformation tools to the other members. At least, for the armor only.
Well, the news about Steve has not been known much. Including the two of them, they did not know their primary fellow members who were now unable to join the fight anymore.
"We don't know. And one more thing you need to know." Theo said, then he sighed.
Henry and Adli put up the best possible hearing so as not to miss a single piece of information. Their faces turned serious.
"The heirloom sword itself has come to Park Hana. We believe he is still a warrior on our side." Theo's words just left the two young men agape. Heirloom swords were known to be difficult to match up to someone. If the sword comes to someone, it means that the Sword of Heirloom 'interested' to fight with the person they want.
"Then, what about Steve?" this time, Henry asked.
"Henry, I've got new information." The system suddenly interrupts. Henry looked at her still with the same expression.
"What's that?"
"Your primary partner, it is rumored that someone died from being severely tortured by the Darkness Swordman."
Hearing the bad news, Henry widened his eyes. He could not believe that the most powerful known primary member was now the first victim to die in this tragedy.
"No .. maybe ..." he said slowly, he fell down, his body so powerless after hearing the news that made him 'mentally'.
"Yes my. This is totally unexpected." Adli also just got that information from his system. He was as surprised as Henry. However, Adli tried harder.
Adli extended his right hand to Henry who was sitting limp. "Come, we must avenge their actions." his gaze was serious, still with his hands outstretched at Henry. "Don't let him die in vain. We have to continue this battle, then win it."
After getting up, the two of them immediately moved towards the north. The place that should be the barrier of Darkness Swordman so as not to enter the central headquarters area and also the settlement.
...----------------...
With a hasty step, Kim Dae-Vin ran through the hallway of the headquarters. Intentionally not using teleportation to conserve energy.
His mind was filled with anxiety, until he forgot that he had not had time to ask the news of Araya. Even contacted him he had not tried.
His steps stopped right in front of the room which was now crowded with people passing by. From behind the glass door, Dae-Vin's gaze is fixed on someone lying on top of the gurney. Not only that, his body was already covered with a white cloth.
Seeing that, Dae-Vin is speechless. His feet sagged instantly, making him sit on the cold floor.
"Ryusei, don't sit here" said one of the passive members in charge of the medical field.
Dae-Vin is still silent, he's downcast. Her eyes glazed over—ia did not yet know what was really going on.
"Ryusei, can you hear me?"
"Hey, wouldn't he die that easily?" in a somewhat hoarse voice, Dae-Vin spoke without looking at his interlocutor.
"He who? That Park Hana isn't dead yet."
The sentence caught Dae-Vin's attention. A hope appeared in his heart that had previously become weak and desperate.
He looked at that person with a hopeful look and also full of curiosity. "really? So he is …." Dae-Vin hangs up his sentence, then turns his gaze into the health room.
"He's Steve. He can't be saved from running out of blood due to the Darkness Swordman's torture." he explained briefly, but it was a bit of a relief for Dae-Vin.
In his heart he was grateful, even though he was sorry for the loss of one of his colleagues. He immediately stood up, then asked a question.
"Where is Park Hana now?"
"He returned to the battlefield, after Steve had given his transformation tool to Park Hana."
Whahuh? Steve gave? Dae-Vin doesn't think. Even though Steve has passed away, he still wants to help by giving the transformation tool to people who he thinks are 'able' to use it.
"All right, I'm leaving. Thanks for the information!" after getting certainty, in the end, Dae-Vin again ran away from the headquarters.
"Kyoya, please track Araya's whereabouts." pinta Dae-Vin on his system. He doesn't want to waste time. As he ran, his system began to track the position where Araya was.
"Now he is already in front of the dimensional gate!" reply Kyoya after he finds the location of the person being sought.
Not wanting to miss anything else, Dae-Vin immediately teleports there. Not for ten seconds, he had now reached that place.
There, Araya is seen standing in front of the dimensional gate. His gaze was blank—according to feeling, not sight. In both of his hands, there was still that heirloom sword.
Dae-Vin just stared at his back which was about five meters away. At first glance he did not recognize it, but its location showed that in front of him it was really Araya. There was no logical reason for him to doubt.
"Arya."
