[Opening Arc - #2]
...----------------...
Araya decided to go home. On the way, he thought about his decision later, whether to accept or refuse.
Arriving at home, the front door of his house was open. Are there any guests? So, Araya decided to enter through the side door that would directly reach the kitchen.
When he arrived, the atmosphere there was quiet, maybe his mother was in the living room with the visiting guest.
"Hah .. thirsty," inner Araya after feeling his dry throat due to lack of drinking. He took an isotonic drink from the fridge.
Just as he was about to open the bottle, suddenly someone called out to him from behind.
"Araya," called his mother slowly, but she could still be heard.
"What's the matter, mom?" asked Araya after not so sipping the isotonic water, he also kept the mouth of the bottle from his mouth that was ready to drink.
"Someone's looking for you. And, what about your decision?" His mother asked again.
"I haven't decided yet Ma'am" replied Araya to the point. And then, he continued his delayed activities.
"Ooh, alright," his mother sighed softly before finally returning to the living room.
Gluey! Gluey! Gluey!
"Ahh, the fresh ..." said Araya after the cold isotonic water soaked his previously dry throat.
"So Mom said someone was looking for me? Who yeah?" he murmured slowly after tightly closing the isotonic water bottle, then put it back in the refrigerator. Finally, he decided to meet his mother in the living room.
After arriving in the room, there were two people, namely his mother and someone who had accidentally met him. That man was Hanny.
"Hanny?" araya asked after seeing Hanny sitting opposite her mother. At first glance he heard their casual talk before Araya reached the room.
"Eh? It turned out to be you that I was looking for," Hanny said while showing a friendly smile, Araya did not understand the meaning of her statement at all.
"Why look for me?" asked Araya while sitting next to her mother. It's confusing enough for him, they only met a few minutes ago, and now Hanny's been looking for him?
"Didn't you get the letter, did you?" ask Hanny again. Araya put on a confused face while frowning.
"What letter?" Araya asked back.
"A call letter from the Elemental Asia organization." Mother replied. Araya nodded after understanding her point.
"Ooh, so you also received the letter?" ask Araya to Hanny. Hanny nodded.
"Yes, I was the one who was asked to pick you up" Hanny replied and then she continued, "oh yes, your name is Araya right?"
"Yes, how do you know my name?" Aria asked again. Slowly, he began to get along with the woman named Hanny.
"I'm the one who was asked to pick you up, so I should know your name too."
After Araya and Hanny talked for a while, things went quiet. Araya is still trying to think about her decision that has not yet found a way out.
"So, how's Araya?" ask Araya to open the conversation.
"Hmm... If I agree, then who will accompany Mom at home?" before actually deciding, Araya considered it first.
"Me" said someone from the right side of his mother, not Araya.
"Eh? Allucia? When's Brother coming home?" asked Araya after realizing that there was also her brother there.
"I've been here since then" Allucia replied as she folded her arms. His existence was not realized by Araya.
"Hm ... Hanny, can I ask you a question?" ask Araya to Hanny before asking her original question.
"certain. What do you want to ask?"
"How many members are in our force?" araya's original question. Hanny did not change her facial expression at all.
"It's still three now, but, if you want to join, it'll be four members." replied Hanny casually. Araya seemed to think again.
"So, how's Araya?" now it was Hanny's turn to ask Araya.
"Alright I want to, but Mother ...." Araya hung up her sentence while turning her eyes to her mother.
"Mom will be fine." said Mother to convince Araya.
"Yes, I'll accompany you as long as you're gone" Allucia said.
"Alright" said Araya confidently and a smile was engraved on his face. Hanny nodded as Araya looked back at her.
"Then ... come." take Hanny with a little push of her chin towards the door.
"In a moment, I'll get ready" Araya's words were cut off as she was about to stand up.
"No need, you don't need to prepare anything. All our needs are provided" explained Hanny who made Araya cancel her intention to stand.
"All right then,"
Araya looked at her mother and sister in turn.
"Yes, practice seriously, and don't make trouble, yeah." His mother gave advice. Araya nodded with certainty coupled with a smile.
"Sister, please take good care of mom. Don't be naughty, and school properly" Araya told her brother.
"Yes-yes. Is that actually me or you?" allucia asked as she looked at Araya with an annoyed expression like a child.
"Hehe ... Brother Allucia." replied Araya while pointing at Allucia with a small laugh.
...----------------...
Currently, Araya is walking along with Hanny to go to the headquarters of the organization. They walk next to each other.
"Hanny, is the place still far away?" asked Araya while rubbing her slightly sweaty forehead.
"It's still a long way off, but trust me, we'll get there in ten seconds" Hanny said. Araya looked at him confused.
"Huh? Whatchu mean? Ten seconds? That's right," asked Araya did not understand. Hanny stopped her footsteps. Now, they were in the most remote place in the city, so the atmosphere was very quiet. There was no one there but the two of them.
"Come, embrace me" said Hanny, standing back to Araya.
"What do you mean?"
"I won't carry you. The goal is to get us there faster" Hanny explained. Araya nodded in understanding. Then she wrapped her hand around Hanny—'s shoulder like she was holding him from behind.
"Close your eyes. You can open your eyes after hearing my cue." ask Hanny to Araya who was standing behind her.
"Eumm .. fine." Araya replied before she closed her eyes. Araya closed her eyes. His feelings were strange, different from the previous ones.
"Alright, open your eyes, Araya" said Hanny after the two of them got somewhere. Araya opened her eyes. After he opened his eyes, he was in the middle of a small island located in the middle of the sea.
"We, where are we?" araya asked as she looked around, completely different from where she was before.
"Base," Hanny replied briefly as she slightly stretched out her hand. Araya was confused. There are no buildings on the island. Just a stretch of white sand that he saw as far as the eye could see.
As Hanny makes her way to the center of the island, Araya follows her behind her. Until, they found a block-shaped object, with a color that resembles the color of sand there. Then, Hanny attached a strange device attached to her left wrist. After that, a staircase appeared that connected with the secret room underground.
"This ladder, heading for base?" Araya asked as she looked at Hanny who was standing looking at the hundreds of steps leading down.
"Know! Come on." said Hanny excitedly. He went in and passed the stairs first. Araya walked behind him.
Taps! Taps! Taps! Taps!
The room was dark all the way to the basement. There was not a single speck of light in the hallway, only a dim glow from the strange device used by Hanny earlier.
Until after walking about fifty meters from the surface, the light began to be seen again. The light came from a room that was not too spacious, but neat and modern. Inside the room were seven people. Six of them are men and the other is women.
The room was painted in silver, there was air conditioning, several work tables and a hologram table in the middle of the circular room.
"Welcome" said the woman, who is about twenty years old. Araya and Hanny just smiled and saluted.
Everyone looked at Araya with a smile, except .. there was one person who was staring at her flatly. A man about sixteen years old, looks handsome, but looks cold and cute— at first glance looks like a Korean—his eye color is a bit blue and a little bit squinty.
In the room were two men wearing plain white lab coats. And others wore ordinary clothes, including Araya himself.
"All right, everyone is here, right? Please get acquainted," said one of the people wearing a lab coat earlier. Everyone there was silent. It may still be foreign, especially to Araya.
The atmosphere was still silent for a few seconds. Until at the end ....
"Nobody took the initiative to get acquainted first?" ask a man in the other suit. No one answered.
"Allah ... Zaaryan, you go first." he continued. Then a man was about sixteen years old, his hair and eyes were dark brown, as well as his face looked cheerful.
"Ehem .. hello everyone. My name is Zaaryan, I am sixteen years old, I am from Malaysia. Greetings know all ..." said the man named Zaaryan, he ended his introduction by waving his hand and a smile etched on his face.
"Dae-Vin, it's your turn" said the man in the same suit.
"My name is Kim Dae-Vin, sixteen years old, from South Korea. Greetings," he said to the point with a still flat expression.
Then, now it's Hanny's turn, because she's got a code from a guy who wears a suit too.
"My name is Hanny Aretha, I'm fifteen, from Mongolia" Hanny said.
"Your turn" whispered Hanny to Araya.
"H .. hi all, my name is Araya Putri, I am thirteen years old, from Indonesia. Greetings ..." said Araya a little nervous. He is often nervous when talking to people he does not know. Moreover, in this room, he was the one who was the smallest in age. As he spoke, all pairs of eyes looked at him, making him even more nervous.
