9. George and Matilda

Arman seemed to breathe a sigh of relief when he saw Sarlan. He smiled triumphantly thinking Sarlan was on his side.

“ Go Arman, do not disturb the Moon again..,” pinta Sarlan.

“ Why sir, he is my future wife..,” said Arman quickly while tidying up his clothes that were tangled due to the actions of George earlier.

“ Forget about your intentions, Moon already has a Husband and Child now.!” sarlan said loudly to make Arman surprised and disappointed.

“ Besides you already have Arman's wife. Do not disturb the Moon again, You can live happily with each other's partners from now on.” said Sarlan's wife mediated.

Hearing the words of rejection from Sarlan and his wife upset Arman. She stared at the moon and the baby turned her back on another collar. Afterwards Arman came out of the yard of Sarlan's house with a feeling of anger and resentment in his heart.

Time passed quickly too. Orion is now almost five months old. During that time George and Matilda guarded the Moon and her son. Their togetherness made the relationship of the two become closer and intense.

Seeing the familiarity of Matilda and Heri upset George. He clenched his hand holding onto the anger that was ready to explode. George stayed there until Heri returned home. Realizing that there was something George and Matilda wanted to talk about, the Moon stepped into the house holding Orion.

Matilda was preparing to follow the Moon but her steps stopped because George blocked her hand.

“ I want to talk..” said George.

“ What's up George, what's important.?” ask Matilda.

“ You don't have to worry, I can take care of myself..” said Matilda smiled.

“ Don't mess with George. You know my past and it hurts me a lot. So please don't talk about love with me.” said Matilda while shifting away from George.

“ I don't care about your past Matilda. To me you are a good woman I deserve to marry. Because I can't be alone without you.” said George.

“ You are serious George..?” matilda asked in disbelief.

“ Yes, I'm serious. Let's get married Matilda..” says George.

“ But I will not be able to give you offspring because my uterus is damaged George...,” Matilda said with a trembling voice and teary eyes.

“ I don't care, for me marrying you is the most important thing for Matilda. With you my life is complete. So let's get married..,” George said again while wiping away the tears that were dripping down Matilda's face.

Matilda was stunned for a moment then slowly nodded her head.

“ Yes George, I want to marry you.” Matilda said softly to make George smile and then pull Matilda into his arms.

“ Thanks Darling. I promise we'll be happy..” whispered George as he tightened his embrace.

Matilda nodded then returned George's embrace. To Matilda George's proposal was like an oasis in the desert.

After the dark events that he experienced first, Matilda almost never dreamed to fall in love again with a man let alone get married. But his cooperation with George lately did make him falter. Without realizing it slowly George managed to tear down the sturdy fort he built. George managed to make Matilda's heart beat faster as they got close together. George also managed to make Matilda blush in embarrassment with her jokes and gentle gaze.

Matilda feels her life is more colorful because George also has the same feelings as her. Now Matilda can smile because of her feelings of welcome. While George seemed happy because he felt his dream to have Matilda almost became a reality.

Suddenly there was a clap that made George and Matilda break their arms. They turned their heads and saw the Moon standing with her parents.

" Congratulations yes, you are finally at this point as well" said Moon with a happy laugh.

“ We will make a wedding party for you later.” Sarlan said with a sparkling face.

“ Ga need to bother Sir. We can get married in a simple way really.

“ Don't reject my father's good intentions. Both my parents already considered you boys, so you should agree..!” the word ferocious Moon.

“ Well. We don't have a choice. How dear, you agree right..?” george asked, looking at Matilda.

“ Yes Darling...,” said Matilda shy to make the atmosphere back cheerful.
