Droplets of Night Creatures

Droplets of Night Creatures
317. Unbelievingly

If Raka succeeds in injuring the common werewolf Sister Ina, Rashid is still busy observing the movements of other werewolves.

Initially Rashid was surprised when he saw the original form of the furry black creature. The moonlight that hit the body of the black-haired creature was enough to help Rashid see the face of the creature clearly because before Rashid could only look at it at a glance.

From his hiding place Rashid could see the face of the feathered creature was like a wolf complete with fangs and ears sticking out. The body of the black creature was covered in black feathers with hands and feet that were also equipped with claws. Rashid shuddered at the thought of the hairy creature tearing its prey like he had seen it before.

After speeding off earlier, the creature stopped at the back of the Hospital. Rashid continued to follow in the footsteps of the apparently unwell werewolf, exiting through the back door of the Hospital. Apparently the black-haired creature headed for the residents' apple orchard that lay wide behind the Hospital.

The werewolf looked exhausted as he walked like he was enduring pain. Then the werewolf stopped stepping while looking to the right and to the left. The Rashid who followed also stopped while waiting for what the werewolf would do.

Suddenly Rashid was startled by the sound of a man's scream. It seems that the man was picking an apple on one of the trees. Seeing the gurgle can be guessed if the man is a thief who is in action to steal an apple. Because it is impossible to harvest apples at night and without lighting at all.

The man screamed in surprise at the presence of a werewolf standing not far from the tree he was in. The man thought that the werewolf in front of him was a ghost until he threw the iron scissors he held towards the werewolf.

Being hit by the wolfman's iron scissors throw was furious and roared loudly. The man grew increasingly frightened and his grip on the branch of the apple tree was released. The man slid to the ground after several times hitting a tree branch until the skin of his hands and feet blisters and bleeds.

Seeing the man bleed, the killing intent within the werewolf rose. He moved closer and waited under the tree to catch the body of the man who was sliding down.

From where he stood Rashid was shocked. He thought that the werewolf would prey on the poor man. Rashid grabbed the gun from his waist and aimed at the werewolf until it hit his right shoulder.

The werewolf roared loudly as heat and pain greeted his body. He turned his head to his right and was surprised to see his shoulder being injured and bleeding. Then he saw a man standing not far from where he was standing and was pointing a gun at him.

The werewolf turned his body around in order to stare at the man. There was shock on the werewolf's face when he recognized the man who was brandishing a gun at him.

Rashid saw that the two werewolf eyes looked wet as if they were crying. And that made Rashid frown in confusion. Rashid stared for a moment because he was stunned by the strange sight before him. And in the next second Rashid ventured to advance closer to the werewolf.

The werewolf looked angry. But suddenly he snorted furiously while looking back. It turned out that the man who was suspected of being an apple thief had managed to injure the back of the werewolf with the knife he was carrying. The man was surprised when the werewolf turned his head towards him then reflexively released the knife he was holding and left the blade on the wolf man's back.

The werewolf roared furiously then turned around and prepared to attack the apple-thieving man. Rashid moved forward and prepared to fire his gun again. But the Rashid movement stopped because George stopped him.

" Stop Rashid...!" george said loudly.

" Be careful George, don't stand there...!" rasyid said no less loudly while trying to pull George's hand to get out of front of him.

" I said stop Rashid. Now...!" george said riled.

" I'm sorry George. There was someone in front of me who was in danger. I can't do it without doing something. Moreover, I clearly saw if the monster was intending to hurt that person..," Rashid said quickly.

Up ahead there was a scream that made Rashid shocked. Apparently the werewolf had managed to injure the apple-thieving man. The man seemed to be holding onto his injured neck while the werewolf before him was bowing while sniffing the thick scent of blood.

Rashid rounded his eyes and prepared to pull the trigger and point the gun at the bent werewolf.

" Don't do that or you'll regret Rashid forever" said George, staring fixedly at Rashid.

Rashid stopped his actions and frowned because he did not understand George's words. Then he looked back at George with a confused look.

" What do you mean George...?" ask Rashid.

" That monster is your wife's common werewolf, Sheina..," George said in a choked voice.

Rashid was surprised not to be a bitch. His mouth was wide open because he had not expected to hear anything shocking earlier.

" In. a. She's my wife...?" ask Rashid not to believe it.

" Yes Rashid. The werewolf before you is the incarnation of Sheina, your wife.

Rashid was shocked to hear George's words. His eyes now turned toward the werewolf and the thief.

From where he stood Rashid could see a werewolf that George said was Sheina's incarnation seemed to raise his hand a sign that he was ready to tear the thief's body.

The police instinct in Rashid's body led him to move quickly to the werewolf and ignore George. Then Rashid kicked the werewolf so hard that it fell on the ground. Afterwards Rashid told the thief to stay away from the werewolf before him. The thief got up while holding his neck and ran away to save himself.

George seemed annoyed that Rashid ignored his warning. But he also could not let Rashid hurt Sheina. George rushed up to Sheina, right at the same time Matilda came and immediately hugged the werewolf that was lying face down on the ground.

Rashid was shocked to see Matilda tightly hugging the werewolf without any worries of being harmed. For a moment Rashid was confused. He tried to digest George's words earlier and was again surprised when he heard Matilda's words.

" Sheina, you're fine Shei.", Matilda said with a trembling voice.

The incarnate werewolf Sheina appeared to be silent in a position still face down with her eyes closed. Apparently a gunshot wound to his right shoulder and a knife stab wound to his back made the werewolf critical. Moreover, the knife belonging to the apple thief was still stuck in his back.

Suddenly Rashid felt his knees tremble. His world seemed to collapse as he watched the werewolf before him slowly transform into the man he recognized as Sheina, the wife he loved so much.

" Sheina..," called Rashid and fell.

Rashid seemed to shake his head because it was difficult to accept the fact that the werewolf he hunted was the incarnation of his wife. Moreover, he had injured the werewolf with his gun earlier.

Meanwhile, Matilda and George are trying to help Sheina so that she can soon wake up.
