169. Lian's Secret

The first day of work as an intern at Grandpa Kenzo's branch of the company went well. Aruna, Kenzo and Ria look happy when they meet again in the company lobby at the office.

Aruna deliberately came early because he intended to find out what figure was following Lian the secretary.

After putting the bag on her desk, Aruna ventured closer to Lian's desk. He looked at everything on the table.

" There's nothing suspicious. But why is it so different here with the same table I am," muttered Aruna while turning her body and preparing to return to her desk.

But Aruna's steps came to a halt when she heard a very loud ticking sound from inside the drawer. Aruna went back and observed the bottom desk drawer where the sound came from. There was thin white smoke coming out of there and Aruna knew if there was anything there.

Aruna reached out her hand wanting to touch the drawer. But he immediately paused when he heard footsteps approaching the door of the room. Aruna who could not avoid it pretended to be crouching in front of Lian's desk as if she was looking for something.

" Why are you there Aruna...?!" asked Lian loudly.

" You sure the bross fell under my desk...?" ask Lian not like it.

" I don't know Mom. So I again nyariin nih..," said Aruna relaxed.

" If you have met cepet readyin file in green map yes. I want to go to the boss. It was checked yesterday...?" ask Lian.

" Udah Bu..," said Aruna while handing over the green map that Lian meant.

" okay. Now that you learn this, tomorrow come with me to accompany the Boss for a meeting yes..," Lian said as she handed the pile of maps to Aruna.

At that moment Aruna's eyes caught white smoke coming out of Lian's desk drawer. The white smoke gathered and manifested something that made Aruna gasp in shock.

There's a pretty woman in there. He stood up while looking at Aruna with a hopeful look.

" Who are you...?" ask Aruna.

" I'm Lian..," said the ghost of the woman shriveled.

" Don't make it up, the time of your name is just as rich as Bu Lian..," Aruna said as she melengos.

" I am Lian. I'm the Boss' secretary here." said the female ghost trying to convince Aruna.

" If you are Bu Lian, who is this woman who has been in this room with me for two days...?" asked Aruna not understanding.

Just as the female ghost was about to reply, suddenly the sound of shoe beating rang out and the female ghost disappeared. Aruna turned her head and found Lian walking quickly towards her desk.

Lian appears to be taking the key from inside the bag. Then he opened the desk drawer where Aruna saw the ghost of the woman coming from. Aruna observed Lian's movements without blinking as if wanting to know what secret Lian was hiding there.

Lian looked relaxed as if she did not care about Aruna's suspicious look at her. After taking something from the drawer, Lian locked the drawer again. But this time he put the key in his pocket.

Before leaving the room he approached Aruna's desk.

" It's best not to be too concerned about other people's business. Sometimes silence is better than sound. Didn't you ever hear the saying that silence is gold...?" lian asked while looking at Aruna sharply.

" Yes Ma'am.," said Aruna, nodding her head.

" good. Now continue your work, because I have to accompany the Boss to the meeting with his business relations..," Lian said as she waved her hand.

Aruna looked at her place because she was embarrassed. He did not expect that Lian knew himself to be being observed by Aruna.

Aruna turned to Lian's desk to look for the ghost of the woman who had claimed to be Lian. Strange, Aruna no longer found the ghost there. Aruna stood up and intended to approach Lian's table but he paused when he remembered Lian's words earlier.
