Droplets of Night Creatures

Droplets of Night Creatures
23. Task Division

Aruna was still staring in front of the figure of the big wolf who had been scouting. He waited for what the creature was to say. Although her heart beat faster than usual, Aruna still tried to calm down because she was sure that the large creature standing in front of her would not hurt her.

Meanwhile, near the bonfire, the teachers were still busy chatting with community leaders who came to visit. One of the student camp coordinators named Ahmad seemed shocked and turned his face to the corner of the camp. Ahmad felt that the atmosphere of the night was very different.

“ Why Mr Ahmad..?” ask Husna.

“ Gapapa Bu, I want to patrol first check Children yes Bu..,” Ahmad said.

“ Need to be accompanied ga Pak..?” ask another teacher named Romi.

“ Ga n't Pak Romi. Father and other teachers here aja nemenin Mr. Mulya..,” said Ahmad while moving from near the bonfire.

Then Ahmad began to monitor the student tents. If there are still students who speak Ahmad will reprimand and remind them from outside the tent.

“ Sleep do not chat !. Prepare for tomorrow's activities. I don't want anyone to be sick or tired tomorrow. Blame yourself for not taking advantage of this rest opportunity to sleep. Understand You..?!” ask Ahmad lantang.

“ Understand Sir..!” the students from inside the tent.

“ Good, now you guys are sleeping. If I still hear no sound, You I am legally standing in front of the bonfire overnight.

There is no lawfulness. Apparently the students did not want to be punished because they were already quite exhausted that day.

Ahmad smiled and then stepped back his feet through the ranks of the student tent. As he passed in front of tent number eleven, he stopped because he saw a girl standing behind the tent. Ahmad sharpened his vision to ensure that the figure of the girl he saw was a human not a ghost.

Ahmad rounded his eyes when he recognized the girl who turned out to be Aruna. During this time Ahmad several times heard the nickname ‘girl freak for’ Aruna pinned by the students at school. The nickname was carried by Aruna because the girl often acted strangely according to the views of the students. Ahmad did not understand where the strange location but now Ahmad saw for himself one of the strangeness of Aruna.

“ What are you doing there nights like this Aruna..?!” ahmad asked to surprise Aruna.

“ Uh, sorry Sir. I'm again looking for the wind Sir...,” said Aruna while rushing to step towards the tent.

“ Find wind ?. You don't make it up to Aruna. It's open nature and there's definitely a lot of wind. What other wind are you looking for..?” ahmad asked while looking closely at Aruna.

Aruna was silent because she could not answer. Occasionally the girl seemed to glance at the large rambutan tree behind the tent with an anxious look that made Ahmad suspicious.

“ What's on that tree Aruna. How do you squirm down there..?” ask Ahmad.

“ Ga nothing sir...,” says Aruna fast.

“ Oh yes, I don't believe it. Try I see...” said Ahmad while directing the flashlight he brought to the top of the rambutan tree.

Seeing that Ahmad was about to highlight the large rambutan tree behind him, Aruna quickly snatched the flashlight from the teacher's hand.

“ Don't Sir..,” said Aruna shriveled.

“ Why Aruna, return my flashlight..!” ahmad said fiercely but Aruna shook her head.

“ The tree should not be flashlighted sir, ntar the creature waiting for the rambutan tree is angry and endanger us all. Do you want if our camp is a mess because of students and teachers trance..?” asked Aruna while looking closely at Ahmad.

Aruna's words made Ahmad surprised and afraid. Slowly Ahmad lowered his outstretched hand towards Aruna with a long sigh.

“ I don't know what you're talking about Aruna. I don't believe in ghosts, but just wiggling at your attitude I've got to start thinking again. If so please you say the same creature waiting for the tree

“ Insha Allah can sir..,” said Aruna while handing over the flashlight belonging to Ahmad who had been captured.

“ Well. When you're done, you have to enter Aruna's tent again. I do not want to say favoritism because you stand outside rich gini..,” said Ahmad as he passed.

“ Ready Sir...,” said Aruna with a smile.

After Ahmad moved away, Aruna again faced the rambutan tree. But unfortunately Aruna did not find the big wolf there. With a step of gontai Aruna back into the tent. He was a little annoyed at failing to know the purpose of the big wolf following him all this time.

In the morning all the students were asked to gather near the bonfire as they would be given assignments from the teachers.

“ To make it easy We will make a group. There are groups in charge of shopping for our needs, cooking, taking water in the river and the rest follow activities guided by Bu Husna. You don't have to worry, all the students will get a share. If today he is in the task of preparing the needs of all participants, then the next day he participated in a teacher-guided activity. No one can be envious, keep working together and do not let your guard down.!” said Romi loudly.

“ Ready Sir..!” all students at the same time.

“ Any questions...?” ask Romi.

Mika looked to raise her finger. All eyes were on him as if waiting for the question of what Mika would throw. Romi seemed to nod his head a sign Mika could ask.

“ Do We have to fetch water in the river Pak ?. Why not use water from the faucet so that it is easier.?” ask Mika.

“ Good questions. We camp here in addition to refreshing is also training student creativity. We get everything we need easily. That's why we take advantage of the natural resources available and not far from where we camp. At first you will be upset but after that you will thank us for being able to feel the thrill of being friendly with nature.” Romi said with a smile.

The group division began. Aruna and his three friends were part of the task of taking water in the river. There are three groups in charge of taking water for kitchen purposes. And the Aruna group is scheduled to last take water, which is after Ashar prayers later. Previously they joined other students following the materials provided by the teachers.

After performing the Ashar prayer, Aruna and his three friends prepared to take water in the river. Romi appeared to come to them to give directions.

“ Remember yes children, do not late in the river let alone until the Maghrib.

“ Well Sir...,” said Aruna and her three friends.

“ If you can't bring your own, call a boy friend to help. You will also stand by here for your ngawasin. You know what the punishment is for a child who does not obey.?” tanyaRomi is full of emphasis.

“ Ready Sir...,” said Aruna and her three friends.

Then Aruna and his three friends rushed to the river which was about seven hundred meters from the camp site. The four of them looked relaxed and continued to talk. Every now and then the four laughed as if they did not mind the task given by the teacher.

“ The place is very beautiful yes, ga nyesel deh follow here.” said Mika while staring around her with a look of admiration.

“ Yes. Unfortunately we are part of taking the afternoon water so we can not mess around in the river..,” complained Noni.

“ Uh, who says we can't mess around. We can go back before the Maghrib. There is still an hour and a half left for us to return to camp.” Sheila said as she glanced at the clock that was coiled around her wrist.

Hearing Sheila's words made Aruna, Mika and Noni smile. After putting water into two large jirigens, the four continued to play water.
