34. More – More Kalisha

Ever since Aruna said something about ‘secret’ Kalisha, the girl started to keep her distance from Aruna.

Not afraid but Kalisha did not want the secret he kept known to many people.

Now Kalisha could only stare at Aruna from a distance, still with a look of resentment, without being able to do anything about it.  Good the class leader who indeed memorized the feud between the two female friends was a little confused by the change in Kalisha's attitude. But he was happy because he did not have to deal with the homeroom teacher or the manager of OSIS at school just because of the actions of Kalisha and Aruna.

Meanwhile Aruna looks more relaxed even though he remains vigilant in his silence. From her seat Aruna could feel that Kalisha was looking at her as if she was looking for her weakness.

“ Ga maybe Aruna knows if I've finished off Father. Who is he or she really is or maybe it's just a coincidence.?” kalisha asked in her heart while holding back the anger.

That night Aruna and her parents had just returned home from visiting Arka's parents. They were in the car on the way home.

“ Ntar We stopped by briefly to the mini market yes Pa...,” said Diana.

“ Can. What would you like to buy Ma...?” ask Arka.

“ Usual is the need of women. The usual dressings abis. Worrying later on menstruation even no supplies.” said Diana relaxed.

“ You how Aruna, is your monthly supplies still enough..?” asked Arka while glancing at Aruna through the rearview mirror.

Arka nodded then turned her car into a mini market. A moment later Diana and Aruna got out of the car and entered the mini market while Arka chose to wait in the parking lot.

After buying what Aruna wants out of the mini market approaching the papa.

“ Udah Pa, now Mama again ngantri in front of the cashier tuh..,” sahut Aruna while pointing at the queue that snaking in the mini market.

“ Pantesan...,” said Arka while smiling understandably.

While waiting for Diana to finish paying for all her groceries, Arka and Aruna chose to stop by the Betawi soto shop opposite the mini market. They ordered three servings of soto. Shortly thereafter Diana joined in.

“ Nih Ma, has been booked all with Aruna.” said Arka while thrusting a bowl of Betawi soto in front of his wife.

“ Thank God, good Son Mama..,” said Diana while kissing Aruna's head with affection.

“ Yes dong, do I love Mama..,” said Aruna to make Arka and Diana smile.

Then the three began to eat soto greedily. While eating soto, Aruna spread her gaze throughout. His gaze stopped on a tree. There he saw a pair of red eyes lurking about something. Aruna sharpened her vision and was convinced that it was not Matilda's or George's eyes.

Suddenly the pair of red eyes jumped onto another tree and disappeared into the darkness of the night. Aruna reflex

look up into space and find the full moon in the sky. Aruna let out a long sigh of confidence that the owner of the pair of eyes was a kind of creature from the same clan as her.

“ Oh yes, it's time. Hopefully Papa and Mama will not squirm when I turn into a werewolf. I don't want them to be afraid and hate me later because I realize that a hard-earned child raised with love and affection turns out to be a creepy monster.

Apparently Aruna knew a long time ago if she was not the child of Arka and Diana. He answered when he asked George and Matilda the other day.

“ You why Nak..?” george asked when he saw Aruna staring at him and Matilda.

“ I'm confused again Om...,” says Aruna.

“ Look Aruna, actually Arka and Diana are not your biological parents..,” Matilda said carefully.

“ They are your foster parents Aruna. Before finding you and making you a child, they had a child who died while still in Diana's womb. The child was never born into the world in the form of a human being because that was his destiny. They found you somewhere quiet and decided to take you home and adopt you. If you feel like it was planned because you were present after Arka and Diana lost their child, honestly not. I can only say they were the ones chosen to take care of you. “ Both Ma...,” said Aruna while scratching her head that does not itch to make Arka and Diana laugh.

“ Yes Pa...,” said Diana then rushed to pay the soto they ate.

Shortly afterwards the three were in the car on their way home. Aruna who was sitting in the middle seat seemed to lean her body while staring out the window. While Arka drove the car at medium speed while busy chatting with Diana in the front seat.

Suddenly Aruna straightened her body when she saw a familiar female figure standing on the quiet sidewalk under the extinguished lamp post.

“ Kalisha, what do you want these nights here. Alone in a quiet place, is not afraid of being harassed by the same thugs yes..,” muttered Aruna while staring fixedly at Kalisha who was standing half bent.

However, Aruna's eyes widened when she witnessed Kalisha's change. Aruna watched as Kalisha's body grew big and hairy to the point of ripping off her clothes. When Kalisha's head turned into the head of a wolf, Aruna covered her own mouth so as not to scream. Both eyes Aruna looks teary because sure if at that time Kalisha must be very suffering. Aruna could feel the pain that Kalisha had suffered while turning into a werewolf. A moment later Aruna saw that Kalisha's werewolf was darting away and disappearing somewhere.

Aruna seemed to try to regulate her breath that was stingy after seeing the physical changes of Kalisha while thinking in her heart.

When they arrived home, Aruna rushed into the room to calm down.

That morning Aruna was standing in the parking lot watching the school gate. He deliberately waited for Kalisha because he wanted to know how her condition after ‘turned’ into a werewolf last night.
