196. There's a Police

After finishing breakfast, Amanda returned to her room to rest. Neng gave pain medication to the employer. Amanda immediately drank it without asking because she really needed medicine to relieve her pain.

Then Neng came out of the master's room and immediately contacted his nephew who works as a police officer. Neng talked about Amanda's current condition to the nephew.

" It's best to immediately go to Bi..., Hospital" said Neng's nephew, Rofiq.

" How to Fiq. Aunty is afraid of Mr. Hambali..," Neng said in a whisper.

" Is there no one else in the house besides Auntie...?" ask Rofiq.

" There's. The Rian the driver, sir. But now again lead you to a project that's out of town. Do not know when to go home..," said Neng.

Neng's reply made Rofiq smile.

" That's why I'll wait a minute. I'm going there right away" Rofiq said.

" Now...?" asked Neng in disbelief.

" yes. Didn't Auntie say that Hambali was out...?" asked Rofiq without adding any 'sir' frills when naming Hambali.

" Eh, not Fiq. Auntie doesn't want you to be accused of cheating on her with Miss Amanda. Many eyes will squirm and report the same Master later..," said Neng panicked.

" Aunty is calm. I know how to silence the people" said Rofiq at the end of his sentence.

Neng stared at the screen of his phone with a huff. He was a little sorry to have told Amanda the condition. At first Neng just wanted to ask for advice on how to help Amanda escape from Hambali. Neng also realized from his daydream when the big clock at Hambali's house chimed eight times.

Neng rushes to wake Amanda to get ready.

" Mr.a.n.g., wake up" Neng said as she patted Amanda's cheek repeatedly.

There is no lawfulness. Amanda seemed to fall asleep and did not feel a pat on her cheek nor did she hear Neng's voice calling her name.

For fear Neng brought her index finger closer to Amanda's nostril.

" Alhamdulillah is still there. Why don't you wake up too. Lest Madam poisoned the drug I gave you." murmured Neng began to panic.

Then Neng grabbed the packet of medicinal marks lying on the table. Neng checked the expiration date on the drug packaging and breathed a sigh of relief because it turned out that the drug was still safe to consume.

Suddenly the sound of a car entering the courtyard of Hambali's house. Neng peeked out from behind the curtains of the room window and rounded his eyes when he saw two men in police uniforms getting out of the car.

Then Neng rushed out of the room to open the main door.

" Assalamualaikum Bi..," said Rofiq kindly and kissed the aunt's back with reverence.

" Alaikumsalam. You actually came here Fiq...?" asked Neng while rubbing Rofiq's head.

" Yes Bi. I'm both the same with me. His name is Ritha..," said Rofiq while introducing his friend.

Ritha shook Neng's hand with a smile.

" O girl anyway. Aunt kira boy. Her baby wears trousers and her hair is flaky too" said Neng shyly.

" This is Polwan Bi. Rich in his uniform. Sometimes wear skirts. It just so happens that Ritha abis is an outside task so I invite you here..," said Rofiq with a smile.

" Where is the woman with KDRT Bi...?" ritha asked impatiently.

" SDRT...?" reiterate Neng did not understand.

" KDRT stands for Domestic Violence Bi. Ritha was one of the police officers who served in the women's and children's service unit. So Auntie doesn't have to worry anymore. Hambali will not dare to mess around because Bibi's actions are protected by law," Rofiq said firmly.

" Yes Bi..," said Rofiq.

" So can we meet him now...?" ask Ritha again.

" could. Madam is in the bedroom again. But I can't wake up because I'm taking pain medication. Kaya Madam is very sleepy because how many days can not sleep..," said Neng.

Hearing Neng's words made Rofiq and Ritha look at each other suspiciously. The two rushed into the house followed by Neng.

Then Neng opened the bedroom door and saw Amanda lying on the bed. Ritha rushed over and checked Amanda's condition.

" He wasn't sleeping but fainting...!" ritha said to the surprise of Neng and Rofiq.

" I didn't poison him. I bought the medicine at the shop. Please don't arrest me. Rofiq, please trust Auntie." said Neng as she held the niece's arm.

" Yes Bi, I believe. Please don't mess up. Aunt sat there first. Let Us check once more..," said Rofiq while trying to calm the aunt.

" His body, hands and feet were bruised. And there's a wound behind his ear. We're taking her to the hospital now" Ritha said.

" okay. Come on Bi, we're going to the Hospital now...!" bring Rofiq.

" yes. But Auntie ain't in jail, is she Fiq...?" ask Neng.

" Aunti just stay at the Hospital and help answer some questions from the Police later." said Rofiq with a smile.

" Oh if only Auntie wanted to come along. Wait a minute, Auntie grab the wallet first," Neng said as she rushed out towards the kitchen.

Ritha and Rofiq took Amanda's body and put her in the car. Shortly afterwards Neng entered and the car drove away from Hambali's mansion.

Amanda was taken to the same hospital where her father was treated.

Dito's wife, who was waiting for her husband, was visibly anxious because she couldn't reach Amanda. He had asked Hambali to let Amanda visit his father but Hambali refused. It was then that he accidentally saw a gurney being pushed quickly towards the ER room. He pulled over to make way. But his eyes were rounded as he watched who was lying on top of the gurney.

" Shanie...!" call Dito's wife out loud to the surprise of Neng, Rofiq and Ritha.

" Do you have a relationship with the patient...?" ask one of the nurses.

" He's My son Sister. Why her, what happened...?!" ask Dito's wife to panic while touching Amanda's face.

" For a moment, Mom, we checked her condition." said the nurse as she closed the door.

Dito's wife seemed to cry regretting what had happened. How can in one day he have to see two people he loves lying in the Hospital.

Ritha's greeting made Dito's wife raise her head and wipe away her tears.

" So Amanda's Mom's son...?" ask Ritha.

" True Bu Polwan..," said Dito's wife.

" He was too young to bear the status of Mother's Wife. If this is investigated, not only will her husband be ensnared by the law but both parents will also be involved," said Ritha firmly.

Dito's wife came back crying. He doesn't know how to tell everything. Because honestly he was also confused how he could approve Amanda's marriage with Hambali at that time.

Neng who was standing next to Rofiq seemed to understand what Amanda's mother was going through. But he just kept quiet because he was worried about mispronouncing and backfiring for him.
