82. Second Chance ?

Just as Aruna was about to leave the place, Aruna suddenly saw the figure of an astral creature in the form of a large human-headed snake present in front of Yusi and Mr. Tuo.

The long-haired human-headed snake seemed to move to and fro. Part of his face was covered with hair indicating that he was a man. There was a black-colored crown perched on top of his head indicating his position as king. His eyes looked intently at his two loyal servants, Yusi and Pak Tuo.

With a single breath, the huge snake managed to extinguish the fire that devoured the bodies of Yusi and Mister Tuo.

The bodies of Yusi and Pak Tuo appeared to be sprawled on the ground in terrible conditions and that made Aruna shudder in horror. The clothes they were wearing only a tear of cloth that was attached to the skin of their bodies because some had been burned earlier.

" Wake up...!" the snake king said in anger.

" Am..pardon my Lord..," said Yusi while trying to get up from his lying position followed by Mr. Tuo.

Then both of them seemed to sit with their bodies trembling. There was a sense of compassion in the heart of Aruna watching the condition of the two humans before her. But when he remembered the crime they had committed, Aruna became angry.

" You know your mistakes, don't you...?" ask the king of the serpents.

" Yes my lord..," said Yusi and Mr. Tuo simultaneously.

" So you have to be ready to take the risk, right...?" ask the serpent king again.

" Please give me one more chance, my Lord. I promise I will give my best.." pinta Yusi while bowing her face.

" A chance again ?. Hmm, it seems that you don't understand Yusi yet. You are the second chance I gave to that Tuo. And that means no more chances for you two...!" said the snake king.

" What does it mean, my lord...?" ask Yusi not understand.

" Tuo has already broken a promise and I almost punished him. Then he asked for a second chance and I gave him that chance. And on that second chance Tuo took you and became my loyal servant. Now that Tuo has again made a mistake, do I look like I will still give him a chance...?" asked the snake king cynically to make Yusi surprised not a bitch.

Yusi turned to look at Mr. Tuo and began to attack him until there was a fierce battle between the two. The big snake seemed to smile at the sight of two loyal servants hurting each other.

A while later Yusi and Pak Tuo were sprawled on the ground with more severe body conditions than before.

Both Yusi and Tuo's eyes seemed to have widened and their faces were darkened as they realized the presence of the snake troops around them. Some are snakes, some are shaped like their king, namely the body of a snake and the head of a human.

The sound of the hissing of snakes in large numbers seems to be the introductory song for Yusi and Pak Tuo facing death.

" Punishment for the person who violated the agreement is already established. Now finish them off...!" the serpent king.

Yusi and Pak Tuo looked frightened as the snake troops approached towards them. Both tried to escape, though the results were in vain.

Two human-headed snakes blocked Yusi and Tuo's steps and wrapped around their bodies. Afterwards the two snakes threw Yusi and Tuo's bodies into the air. Screams sounded along with the landing of Yusi and Tuo's body into the middle of the snake army.

From where he stood Aruna could see how the bodies of Yusi and Pak Tuo became the moons of the snake army.

If Pak Tuo's body is directly torn apart by snake tail slings and snake bites, then something more terrible happens to Yusi. He was forced to 'serve' the male-headed snake in turn. Yusi screamed until his voice was no longer heard.

It was then that Yusi again remembered how he had ruthlessly subverted Kemala, his own biological son, to his devils.

" I'm a nobody. I just happened to pass by here.," said Aruna lying to make the snake king smile.

" Well, do you think I'll believe it...?" ask the king of snakes.

" You want to believe it or it's none of my business" said Aruna to make the snake king chuckle.

" I like the way you deal with strangers. Be good. This time I'll let you go because you're not involved with all this mess." said the snake king.

" Do I have to thank you...?" ask Aruna.

" It's not necessary. Seeing you respect the legal process makes me believe you're a good person. Go awaylah. My men will take you down" said the snake king with a smile.

" good. Thank you..," said Aruna while cupping her palms in her chest.

" Together..," said the snake king and immediately pulled over as if giving Aruna a way to pass.

Aruna hurried to leave the place. Two human-headed serpents who were the bodyguards of the snake king were seen escorting Aruna out of the place carefully.

During the trip no conversation took place. Aruna remained focused in her dhikr while still maintaining a vigilant attitude. Because he saw with his own eyes how the two beings were participating*uhi Yusi brutally earlier.

" We didn't do it for no reason, miss. It was karma that he had to accept as payment for what he had done. So you don't have to be afraid we'll eat you too" said one of the snakes as if he could read Aruna's mind.

" I know..," said Aruna quickly to make the two snakes so that the incident looked at each other and smiled.

" Well, we've arrived" said one of the snakes to Aruna.

Aruna turned his head and saw that now he was back in the inn area filled with police officers passing by. None of them even realized his presence.

" Thank you..," said Aruna with a sincere smile.

" All together. We're leaving now..," said the two snakes together.

Aruna nodded her head. A moment later the two snakes simply disappeared without a trace. Aruna rubbed her face once and turned her body in another direction and stepped closer to the crowd of policemen standing guard.

" Good day, sir." said Aruna.

" Good day. Are you staying here too...?" one of the policemen asked in astonishment to see Aruna.

" Yes Sir. When I came out of the room I saw a lot of cops here. What's the matter, sir...?" ask Aruna pretending not to know.

" Let's come with us, it's too dangerous for you here" one of the police said.

" Good sir..," said Aruna then stepped out of the inn.

And there he met with Fadil, Agung and Galang who then took him to the Hospital.
