59. Waiting for Orion

Aruna and Kautsar's wedding preparations went well. The parents of the bride-to-be were happy because Aruna and Kautsar agreed to their request. Arka, Diana, Ahmad and Hardini also came back to Malang with the documents needed to marry Aruna and Kautsar.

“ Because Aruna is still in college and Kautsar also has to work, why would their wedding be held in Malang aja Pak..?” ask Arka that afternoon.

“ Agree Mr. Arka, Me and My Wife do not mind kok..,” said Ahmad.

“ Keep the recipe how Pa. No time for the reception at all..?” tanya Diana represented Hardini who also wanted a wedding reception for their son.

“ Banget...,” said Hardini to make all laugh.

“ Now where is Kautsar Bu...?” ahmad asked while circulating his gaze to the corner of the room.

Soon Aruna and Kautsar arrived in a row. Seeing the two brides-to-be who look harmonious makes the four parents happy.

“ Assalamualaikum, sorry late..,” greet Kautsar and Aruna together then kiss the back of their parents' hands alternately.

That night Aruna was sitting by the window staring out. He was waiting for his father's presence. Unfortunately, after a long wait, Orion did not come. Aruna got up from the window and prepared to close the window but he paled when he saw George and Matilda.

“ Om same Aunt where the hell, how new look..?” greet Aruna with sparkling eyes and embrace George and Matilda alternately.

“ We have another business Nak. Why, you miss ya...?” tease Matilda while touching Aruna's hair.

“ Yes Aunt. Usually we meet and chat a lot..,” said Aruna fast.

“ There's already your Dad looking after you, so it's our job to be a little light, son.” said George.

“ But Dad hasn't been here in a long time. What is a good-natured Dad Om..?” ask Aruna.

“ She's fine. Just a little tired of just facing some enemies who want to harm you, son.” said George.

Matilda and George were smiling to see Orion and Aruna holding each other.

“ Why did you come anyway Well, there are many questions that you have to answer..,” said Aruna spoiledly to make Orion smile.

“ Well. We're talking somewhere else yuk...,” Orion.

“ Ok, who is afraid..,” challenge Aruna to make Orion, George and Matilda laugh.

Shortly thereafter the four of them darted fast towards somewhere far away. Aruna seemed to laugh happily because he could fight quickly with Orion, George and Matilda.

“ On the hill Aruna...!” orion said loudly.

“ Ready Well...!” sahut Aruna while accelerating his run.

Aruna and Orion kept running and left George and Matilda behind them. Of course, not because George and Matilda are not able to run fast, but they deliberately give Aruna and Orion a chance to miss. Soon they caught up with Orion and Aruna and sat down on a towering tree branch.

“ So why did Dad ask me to marry Kautsar..?” ask Aruna.

“ He has something in him that you need later.” Orion said.

“ What's Well..?” ask Aruna.

Aruna seemed to be smiling happily with beautiful sparkling eyes. Then Orion, Aruna, George and Matilda continued their conversation while enjoying the natural scenery from the top of the hill at night.
