Rama appears to spray the insect repellent liquid towards the leech horde. The leeches seemed to squirm when they were exposed to the liquid and then remained motionless. A moment later Rama found hundreds of leeches dried up.

After Rama sprayed the insect repellent liquid towards the horde of leeches that filled the kitchen, suddenly there was an explosive sound from the direction of Edi's ritual room.
