319. Farewell

Raka's body was picked up by her family and taken home to Manado the next day. Yoga and several police colleagues took Raka's body to the final resting place. However, Rashid chose to stay because he had to find his missing wife.

Rashid tries to meet Aruna to find Sheina's trail. Aruna had also learned of Sheina's condition from Matilda and George.

Now Rashid is waiting for the arrival of Aruna and her husband. Apparently he deliberately made an appointment to meet with Aruna and Kautsar somewhere.

Rashid was amazed to see the antique building in front of him. Aruna did take him to George and Matilda's house on the hill.

Seeing Sheina leave makes Aruna and Matilda sad. Aruna hid her tears in her husband's arms because she could not bear to witness Sheina and Rashid's separation. Matilda and George stared out of the window and frowned.

" Dear." called Rashid with a trembling voice as he tried to support his wife's drooping head.

Rashid keeps trying to wake his wife. She patted Sheina on the cheek and kissed her many times hoping Sheina would respond to her actions. Rashid remembered, usually Sheina would be upset if treated like that. But this time Rasyid must accept that Sheina will not be able to respond to everything because the beautiful woman has gone for good.

" Sheina's gone Rashid..," said George suddenly.

Rashid was stunned for a moment then shook his head. A moment later, Rashid cried. At first it was just a joke. But before long Rashid roared loudly while calling out his wife's name.

" Don't go Sheina. Don't go, my dear. Sheinaa...!" call Rashid aloud while hugging his wife's body.

Matilda, who was standing by the window, looked at her husband, hoping that George would give Rashid time to mourn his body. But George shook his head and Matilda understood what it meant.

Then George seemed to approach Rashid and hit his neck with his hand until Rashid fell down. Rashid's body was moved to the sofa so as not to disturb Matilda and Aruna who will tidy up Sheina's body. Everything is done quickly and regularly. Matilda could still speak while Aruna was silent because she was too sad.

Then Sheina's body was taken out of the house and laid on a stone resembling an offering altar. All were silent as they looked at Sheina's blackened body. A moment later George advanced to the altar and made a strange move to bring up the fire that burned Sheina's body.

From where he stood, Aruna, Matilda and Kautsar were seen staring at the fire that was originally small slowly growing and scorching Sheina's body. Long prayers flowed in their hearts to accompany Sheina's departure.
