Between Happy and Sad

The clock shows at 4pm. It's time for Lia and her papa mama to return home.

Just like when going to Bali, Lia's feelings are mixed between sad and happy. He was happy to go back to Bangka and meet Andra. But he was also sad to leave his grandmother in Bali.

"Mom, we say yes" said Mama Lia.

"Good mother is good in Bali." continued papa Lia.

"Sir, Lia came home first yes (" said Lia to her grandmother with a sad look on her face.

"You hearts yes. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine here." replied Grandma Lia with a beautiful smile.

For some reason, Lia did not want to be away from her grandmother. Anxiety always haunts his mind. I don't know what's on his mind, but he feels that this is his last meeting with his grandmother.

Back tears fell down her cheeks when she saw her grandmother's beautiful smile.

Lia hugged her grandmother tightly before leaving for the airport.

"Nekk, promise me grandma will be fine" said Lia while hugging her grandmother.

"Yes dear. You also have to promise not to be sad about any situation" said his grandmother while removing a hug and stroking Lia's head.

"Lia go first" said Lia as she pulled her suitcase.

Her grandmother did not reply and smiled looking at Lia and her family as they were about to board the car.

While on the way to Bali airport Lia gazed towards the car window. He saw the picture in the pendant he was wearing around his neck. Again and again, tears fell involuntarily and soaked her cheeks.

"Lia kok nangiss sih." said her mother as she hugged her in the car.

"Lia was afraid that something would happen to grandma ma.." said Lia while leaning her head on her mother's chest.

"Darling, you can't think of anything weird... You have to be sure Grandma will be okay. Believe in your mother that your grandmother will be healthy." said her mother.

"Yes maa." replied Lia.

Lia's phone rings.

"Drrttt ddrttt.." vibrate the phone inside Lia's bag.

Lia took her phone and saw who was calling. Not to be expected, it was Andra. It's a little comforting to him.

"Are you at the airport?" ask Andra.

"Not yet.it's still on the way to the airport." replied Lia.

"Ohh, I miss it" Andra said.

"Hm.." Lia replied nervously.

"Aren't you missing me?" ask Andra.

"Yes I miss." answered Lia briefly.

"Aren't you impatient?" ask Andra.

"Hmm yes." replied Lia.

"Calm down, we're going to school tomorrow. I'll take you to school. How's it?" ask Andra.

"Hemm, okay." replied Lia.

"I hung up .." Andra said again.

"OK.." reply Lia.

Finished talking to Andra the feeling of Lia becoming somewhat grand and not anxious anymore.

The short conversation again made Lia even more happy. Lia was increasingly convinced that Andra was indeed destined to be with him. It was a beautiful day for their love story.

They used to be like people who didn't know each other. But who would have thought that now they would be this close.

Lia and her parents arrived at the airport in Bali. Once they get there directly the plane will fly to Bangka. They quickly carried the suitcase and headed to the place where the plane took off and immediately entered.

Lia can't wait to see Andi tomorrow. But, in the midst of that longing, Lia also thought about her grandmother. And even he was still curious about the white envelope he had found in his grandmother's room.

2 Hours later, the family finally arrived in Bangka. After that, they went on their way home.

Arriving at home, Lia just changed her clothes and lay down for a moment on her mattress. Afterwards, Lia prepared her school book for tomorrow. He is very rushed because he wants to rest early rather tomorrow is not bad luck.

Minutes by minutes passed. Unconsciously he fell asleep and slept well.
