93. Dilemmas

Lilian arrived at the house and immediately opened the door. His breath was wheezing as if after a marathon run of thousands of kilo meters.

Lilian sat on the living room sofa straightening her legs which were cramping from walking from Gama's house earlier. Though the distance from Gama's house to his parents' house is not too far.

Feeling uncomfortable, Lilian rushes to Rex and asks him to go home. Then Lilian decided to wait for Rex on the porch.

Shortly thereafter Rex arrives and it makes Lilian's feelings improve.

" Why is it outside...?" ask Rex.

" I'm not comfortable inside alone. You see, I squirmed the pot earlier in front of your room. Maybe there's something he wants to take with you. Try to check yourself..," said Lilian.

Rex rushed inside after hearing the brother's 'report. When he arrived inside Rex did see the figure of a pocong disappear through the wall of his room.

Then Rex stepped closer to his room while deep in thought. As he opened the door of the room Rex saw that the shabby pocong was standing facing the window.

" You've been bothering me since last night. Tell me what you want or go and don't mess around here." Rex scolded while standing in the doorway.

The pocong slowly turned its head and smiled even though it could be called grinning more precisely. Just then Rex saw the crushed face eroded to the ground, slimy brown and smelly. But the two pocong eyes shone softly as if helpless. A moment later the pocong disappeared somewhere.

" O Allah, let alone this..," inner Rex grabbed the bed-cleaning broomstick.

Then Rex flicked the broom to all corners of the room while reading taawudz, Al Fatihah, ayat Kursi and sholawat. Rex also narrowed down the room fragrances to neutralize the unpleasant smell left by the pocong.

Afterwards Rex closed the room door and walked up to Lilian who was still sitting waiting on the porch of the house.

" Alhamdulillah has gone, Brother. It was just a stray pot, really," said Rex, sitting next to Lilian.

" Thank God. But still nakutin Rex..," said Lilian.

Rex's question surprised Lilian. But the girl tried to calm down and not be provoked by the question of the sister.

" Gama said that's Rex...?" lillian asked in disbelief.

" Yes Brother..," said Rex steady.

Lilian let out a long sigh while leaning against the back of the chair. His gaze glared far away as if he was looking for an answer from his groping all this time.

" Sister Lian..," call Rex.

" Yes Rex. Thanks for the info. Please don't force Big Brother to answer your questions huh. I still have to think things through so that I don't take any wrong steps. Brother does not want the good relations of our family and the Gama family to be damaged because of this unnatural feeling. Now you want to rest first, Rex," Lilian said with a smile.

Then Lilian got up from her seat. He rubbed Rex's head affectionately before entering the house.

Rex is currently in a dilemma because it is between Lilian and Gama. He loved his brother and his best friend and wanted the best for them.
