5. Quivering

Rusminah invited Rex, Lilian and Gama to perform Maghrib prayers at home. The Rusminah appointed Rex to the priesthood.

The purpose of Rusminah is none other than to give a religious atmosphere in the house that he had not lived in for a long time. Even though Tini diligently cleans the house, still the atmosphere in the house is slightly different from the house in general.

After performing the Maghrib prayer, Rusminah also grabbed the Qur'an from the top of the closet. A moment later, the chant of the holy verse flowed from the lips of Rusminah.

Rex, Lilian and Gama appear to be listening carefully to the Qur'an verse that the grandmother read. Although they do not understand the meaning of the verse read by Rusminah, they remain silent as a form of adab when they hear people reading the holy verse of the Qur'an.

Moments later, Kemidian Rusminah finished reading the Qur'an and turned and smiled at the three teenagers sitting in the living room.

" You want to eat now or later...?" ask Rusminah.

" Later Nek..," said Lilian, who was taken by Rex and Gama.

Suddenly, Rex's eyes rounded when he saw a small child passing into the kitchen. Rex's hair bristled when he was sure that what he saw was not human because he remembered there was no one in the house but them.

Rex saved himself the fear that began to infiltrate his heart by completing the pending dhikr earlier. Rex also turned his face in another direction so that he would no longer see a child who looked 'busy milling' in the kitchen.

Afterwards Rex went to the side window where Gama saw the demon. Rex had not had time to ask what form of the devil that Gama saw because it was the first grandmother who asked them to prepare for Maghrib prayer.

Rex pulled out the window curtains and turned his gaze out the window. Nothing is strange. Only a vast expanse of rice fields was visible. When she shifted her gaze to the right, Rex looked at the garden overgrown with mango trees. The garden also looks well maintained because Tini's husband diligently cleans and fertilizes the plants there.

Rex let out a long sigh and prepared to close the window curtains. But his hand movements came to a halt as Lilian surprised him. Lilian suddenly looked out the window and screamed.

" Why Sis...?" ask Rex and Gama at the same time.

Lilian did not answer but pointed out the window with her fingertips. Rex and Gama turned to Lilian and were surprised to see the figure of a child running around in the rice field.

Rex swallowed his saliva with difficulty believing that the little boy was the same child he had seen passing through the kitchen.

" Don't be right, that kid's definitely not human. He could go in and out quickly without any sound." Inner Rex riled up.

" The little boy's the son who's Rex. Why play in the rice fields at night like this. What if in the village children can play into the rice field at any time without fear of being scolded by their parents...?" ask Gama who has not realized if the figure of the child he saw is a ghost.

" Ck, Lo time does not turn on Gam. The child is not an ordinary child know..," said Lilian ketus after successfully mastering himself.

" Eh, what do you mean, sister...?" asked Gama while looking at Lilian.

" The little boy must be a ghost. Now you think to yourself. Where there are children playing running around in the rice fields at night. Alone again, no one. How, do you understand what I mean...? " ask Lilian.

" Athaghfirullah aladzim., "gama said as he straightened his body.

" What are you doing in front of the window...?" ask Rusminah suddenly.

" No more doing Nek..," said Rex as he hurriedly tidied up the window curtains that he had been busy with.

" Don't lie...!" rusminah said as she stared intently at the three teenagers in front of her.

Rex took a deep breath and answered the grandmother's question.

" Mmm.., that's Grandma. There's another kid running around in the rice field. Gama asked what if in the village of small children can play in the rice fields until this night. And Brother said that it was not an ordinary child but a ghost." Rex said.

" The little boy ?. Try Grandma to see" said Rusminah as she headed to the door and opened it.

" Where's the little boy you saw...?" asked Rusminah while walking through the rice field with her gaze.

" Have gone to Nek..," said Lilian while docked to Rusminah.

" Don't be a real ghost. You see, there are no small children who can mill around outside the house after the Maghrib except to go to the mosque and teach at the house of guru najai..," Rusminah said rusar.

" Kok Grandma seems confused. It is not natural that a place that has long been inhabited by humans is always inhabited by other creatures. You see, I saw the ghost of the little boy milling around in the house since then.", said Rex.

" Mom understands. Just Grandma was surprised. After Grandma, ghosts who often come to this house are most just pocongs or voices without form. If the ghost of a child, yes only now." said Rusminah.

" So I didn't see it wrong. There's a pocong right in the window." said Gama.

" Yes, maybe the pocong deliberately showed itself in front of you." said Rusminah with a smile.

" Maybe the ghost during his life often to this house Nek..," said Gama.

" Gam Right. Usually, ghosts always come to the last place he visited or to the place he most often visited." Rex said.

" Ish, you two don't know. There are children who often play here. There are no people here and the door is always closed. At least Bi Tini and her husband entered to clean the house.

Lilian's speech made the Rusminah's heart beat faster. Anxiety loomed on his face. He remembered the figure of Landung, Tini's boy.

Rusminah rushed into the house to find her phone. He contacted David, Tini's husband.

" Would you go home for a second...?" ask Rusminah.

" May Mak, in a minute. Nanggung already want Isha, because I am still in the mosque nih..," said David from across the phone.

" Yes gapapa. After Isya directly here, yes Ud. Alone do not need to take Tini..," pinta Rusminah.

" Why can't you take Tini Mak...?" ask David.

" Tini is tired of helping Mamak all day. Let your wife rest, do not be disturbed again." said Russinah.

" Oh that. Yes Mak, I will go straight to Mamak's house later." said David.

The Russian smiled and ended the conversation. When he turned his head he found Rex standing next to him while looking at him with a suspicious look.

" Oh my God, ngagetin aka Rex...!" rusminah said while holding her chest.

But Rex seemed to ignore the surprise of the grandmother and more want to ask to eliminate her curiosity.

" Why did Grandma send Mang Daud here...?" ask Rex.

" Want to have Grandma talk to Mang Daud. Since you are already big, you can also follow later..," said Rusminah while patting Rex's shoulder.

Rex nodded with a smile at the grandmother's words.
