205. The Feast of the Past

The woman's humming voice slowly faded and disappeared in the night wind. Rex was slightly disappointed that he had not obtained any information from the mysterious woman.

Then Rex went out into the street in front of the house to welcome the figure he believed would soon cross it. And Rex smiled when he saw the sighting of a group of bodyguards in the distance was walking quickly towards him.

" This time I have to know what they mean by constantly terrorizing the people here. And actually what they wanted, ." muttered Rex in an alert manner.

The group of trappers of the body is getting faster. So fast their steps seemed to float in the air and it made Rex's heart beat faster.

Suddenly the group of coffins stopped stepping right in front of Rex. Although stopped quite far from him, but Rex felt that the creature was able to make the originally warm atmosphere suddenly feel cold, silent without sound.

Rex swallowed his saliva with difficulty because he felt that the subtle creature before him was not an ordinary subtle creature that just passed by. This second time subtle-creature passed by him seemed to have hidden intentions. And that makes Rex worried and uncomfortable with his appearance.

" What do you want, why keep hanging around here...?" ask Rex without further ado.

There is no lawfulness. The entourage of the bodyguards just mute with a forward-looking gaze. Rex followed the direction of their gaze and was shocked when he saw a pocong-like figure standing upright behind him.

" Athaghfirullah aladzim, who are you...?!" ask Rex while shifting away.

The pocong-like creature shook its head and then sounded moaning. Rex scratched his nape because he again had to deal with something that was not clear of its origin.

When Rex was riled up, the soft voice of a woman stopped by his ear to make Rex raise his head.

" Please help her.." said the voice.

" Which one should I help you with...?" rex asked as he looked up at the tree where the woman's voice came from.

" The one standing behind you." said the voice.

" Why should I help her...?" ask Rex curiously.

" You can solve everything because your condition is different from ours. You can cross dimensions We have difficulty interacting with anyone other than you." said the woman's voice.

" Yai Hadini...?" call Rex in doubt.

" Yes, it's I'm Rex..," said the woman's voice.

" If you ask God willing I will be able to" Rex said with a smile to make Nyai Hadini smile and then left and disappeared.

Rex looked behind him and observed the pocong-like figure closely.

From where he stood Rex could see the condition of the figure was very sad. It turned out that he was not treated like a corpse to be buried but rather rolled with the origin into a wide roll of cloth. So wide that the cloth can cover the entire body and face of the figure.

" Who made you like this...?" rex asked as he extended his hand to touch the figure.

" I don't know.." said the figure.

A smooth and soft voice made Rex sure that the figure wrapped in a wide cloth was a woman.

When the tip of Rex's fingers almost touched the matter, a strong wind hit to make the leaves scattered. The strong wind also managed to pull the black cloth cover of the coffin and flew it until it fell into the middle of the road.

Rex rounded his eyes in surprise to see the naked figure lying stiff inside the coffin. What makes the smell is because the figure without clothing also has slimy skin and peeling to show the reddish flesh of his body.

Suddenly Rex felt nauseous seeing the form of a figure inside the coffin. Rex turned his face to see the reaction of the woman in the cloth. Unfortunately Rex did not see the appearance of the figure again there.

" Who are you looking for...?" ask a raucous voice that Rex believes is the voice of one of the coffins.

" It's my business when it comes to the cloth-covered woman..," said one of the coffins in a deep voice.

Rex shook his head and moved forward to see who was lying inside the coffin. Rex's bold attitude made the pushers panic.

" What do you want to do...?!" ask one of the keranda handlers.

" I want to know what you're carrying and why it's always covered in a black cloth like this.." said Rex Cuek as he grabbed the black cloth lying on the road and approached the coffin.

" Don't come any closer !. Stay there...!" said the pengusung keranda while putting a vigilant attitude.

But Rex doesn't seem to care. He continued to step closer to the coffin while carrying the black cloth he had taken.

As the distance got closer to the coffin, Rex seemed to have a vision of the event that surrounded everything in front of him.

Rex is taken to a time when a girl is being shackled in a dark room. The girl screamed and scolded as she could not resist the hunger, cold and fear that had melded into one.

" Stop screaming Luna...!" maki a voice that made the girl called Luna surprised and stopped her screams.

" I beg you to let me go. What's my fault, why do you treat me like this...?" ask Luna.

" You are guilty of being born with a bad destiny. Your birth has ruined all my dreams. My hope of having the rich and famous besan is wiped out because of you. Don't you know how much profit I could make if I could make their son my daughter-in-law or your husband...?!" said the voice of the man behind the door.

" I'm sorry Sir. If that's what you want, I'm willing to marry that man. But how can I get married if you put me here...?" asked Luna with a trembling voice.

" That's because when it almost makes the man into a trap you just thwarted him...!" the man was upset.

" How I foiled Father's plan while I don't know who the man you were referring to was.", Luna said in self-defense.

The door opened and a thin man came in. Then quickly the man approached Luna and threw a punch at the girl until she screamed in pain.

" Open your eyes and look carefully who is the man I want to be my son-in-law...!" the man said, grabbing Luna's hair and forcing her to look at a photo.

Rex had a little trouble seeing the face of the man in the photo because at that moment his gaze slowly became blurred.

And a moment later Rex is shown a wedding party. Rex felt familiar with the party atmosphere. The decorations, the people present, were also a pair of happy brides sitting at the bouncy.

Rex turned his head when he heard the warm greeting fixed on the pair of men and women sitting in the main seat.

Rex widened his eyes when he recognized the pair of men and women. They are his late grandfather and Grandma Rusminah who is still in a young age.

" The late grandfather is still alive. Young and dashing. Grandma is also still beautiful and healthy," Rex murmured with a smile.

Then Rex remembered the couple sitting at the wedding. Because of the location of the stage pelaminan quite far, Rex was forced to walk in the middle of the crowded guests in order to arrive in front of the stage pelaminan it.

Rex glued to look at a pair of brides who turned out to be his parents, Ramon and Lanni.

Rex turned his head and watched everyone laughing happily at Ramon and Lanni's marriage sign. Only Tini's face, the aunt, looks unhappy and Rex knows why.

" What does the marriage of Father and Mother have to do with the mystical story of Luna.

Rex again circulated his gaze to look for the answer to his question. Among the guests Rex saw Ramzi sitting smilingly observing Ramon and Lanni on the cover.
